Nothing lasts forever, that's for sure. I wouldn't say that BSB is just a fad, since fads never last longer than a month. but at the same time, I don't think they will be one of those groups, like the rolling stones or somebody who stay around forever. But still, BSB still have a little left in them so I think a few more albums will do really well.

MUFASA IS GETTIN SERIOUS Y'ALL!!

Mufasas thinks that this is quite interesting. Mufasa doesn't see how a group of guys that have been around for 6 1/2 years(?) can suddenly have all interest lost from the long time fans we all know they have. As for N Sync, they are really talented, And deserve to be around as much as Backstreet Does. Mufasa is mad that everyone is saying how mean N Sync is to Backstreet because backstreet started the whole "they copied us" attitued! Come on people! Mufasa thinks backstreet will be around for a long time, and just because there are girls invading doesn't mean there will be no more room for the boyz! Girls and boys are different! Mufasa thinks that as long as they keep changing and evolving with the times and meet the needs and interests of their fans, all the boy bands will be able to make it! So, remember is room for more then one group of guys, as long as they make a name for themselves! SO NO MORE BEING CLOSEMINDED ABOUT NSYNCS TALENT! IT CAN GO BOTH WAYS YA KNOW!

I just read the entry from "Carolyn" who was a grandmother and a big fan of the BSB. Well, I'm not a grandmother yet, (thank God - my son is only 12 years old!), but I'm 34 years old, and have been a fan of the Boys for a couple of years now. Why? Their music makes me HAPPY! Am I crazy to say that the BSB's music attracts a lot of POSITIVE, HAPPY people??? I don't think so. Their ballads are so rich, especially on the Millenium CD, and then they have some great kick-butt songs like Larger Than Life and Everybody (Backstreet's Back) that you can't help but get up and dance to! They are so very talented, and they harmonize like angels, and THAT is going to be the key to their continued success. "Boy Bands" will come and go... but true musical talent will ALWAYS find a welcome audience.

To Brian, Howie, A.J., Nick, and Kevin - thank you so much for giving us such great music and for giving my son and I a bond that we can share together.(My son thinks you guys are awesome because of your vocals!) Keep it positive, stay close to the Lord, and stay in touch with your families(As in... calling your moms more often!)

Okay, I know that nothing lasts 4ever, but I think that the person that wrote that article was exaggerating a little bit. They said that the boys would be all gone and girls would rule the charts. I would kill myself if Britney Spears(who CAN NOT sing AT ALL)and other pushover pop females were the only ones on the pop charts. I mean, it's not like all of a sudden, everybody stops liking boy bands and they ALL are old news. The Backstreet Boys have been 2gether for over 7 years and I think they have at least a few more years singing beautiful music.

I adore the Backstreet Boys and their music--I like them as people and I'm crazy about the music they produce. What enjoyment they have given me with their beautiful music; their cds and videos are great. As long as the Backstreet Boys keep putting out quality music, they'll be around for a long time, because they keep growing and maturing. They're a lot different now than when they first came on the scene. It's the music and the BSB beautiful voices that are important, and the fact that the these five guys are such great people (and so gorgeous) is only icing on the cake. By the way, I have a two-year old grandson, so I'm definitely not a teeny-bopper. The BSB appeal to people of all ages. They are special. There's a lot of jealous people in the music industry that want to see them disappear, but I don't think they will. When the other "boy" groups are working at a factory or their local fast-food restaurant, our boys will still be making the most beautiful music in the world.

Ok, I hope ppl won't get pissed at me for posting this here, but I feel that it needs to be said. When it comes time for BSB's next album, I pray to god that ppl aren't planning to buy 2 copies or whatever just so the boys can beat the record. That's tacky and petty and pathetic and my opinion, but I thought I'd say it anyway. Doing that proves nothing. Albums are recorded so that people can buy and enjoy the music. Not so that artists can play games and compete with eachother and see who can set the highest record. So please think twice about doing that or about buying Millennium again on Tuesday. BSB are out there to do their thing, not to compete with anyone else. It's something that they stand for. We as their fans should remember this.
