I don't think Backstreet Boys are just kinda fading away. Maybe *NSTINK will but the Backstreet Boys have created a new kind of music. their music just makes u wanna get up and dance. They are a legend and always will be. I love them not only cuz of their looks, but how they sing from their hearts. It is so sweet of them to write a song for their fans and a song for their moms. do u see nsync doing that? NOOOOOO. wake up people. NSYNC is just a group of kinda cute looking guys trying to sing when they can't. they pretend to care about their fans. they can't find their own identity so they decided to copy off of the one and only Backstreet Boys. NSync are probably just there for the money. BSB don't try to be what they're not. They worked hard and struggled a lot on their way to fame. And when people started liking their music, NSUCK came out with the same kind of music(which wasn't all that great), adn people were like "oh wow look another group of cute(not) guys!" Backstreet actually worked for their success, and they completely deserve it. NSTUPID just came out at a time when everyone liked pop and rock. so they don't deserve it at all. But anyway no matter what happens, to me the Backstreet Boys will always be number 1. I love them with all my heart and soul. i could and would die for them. I love you guys! KTBSPA!!!!

The BSB are not the avereage Pop group. They formed them selves. They looked for the Managemeent then they approved him. Sure he was looking out there to make a group but one pretty much existed when he found them. they just needed some backing to go into a studio. They have all ways sung with out music but they like singing with music. They have good enough voices to pull any song out and they could sing it well.

I'll tell you what'll happen when the kids grow up,So do the Boys. And yes, they might continue,as a group or solo,if it is their wish,or they may not, they may decided to be normal people. Then the next batch of pop music phenoms will come in and do their thing.Personaly I hope the BSB will continue and I will still be hearing them and Nsync and Britney and so on....as I grow up and mature. And I hope that for my kids a group of five very musically talented young men form a group to steal my daughters heart away with their music,so long as it makes her happy. And as for the critics who think it may very well end and end dirty, thats just a cliché foreshadow and that usually happens when drugs are involved and I seriously doubt that in this case that they are, because if they were in this day and age,you would knw about it.

Well, lately I can't help but feeling that BSB are loosing people (NO!!!!!!) but this happens all the time (remember the self-named album) and I really do think they will last a long time and that their music will be remembered not by only little kids but by older audiences (that's us people years from now). Just because N'Sync has sold a few more albums than BSB and there are many more boy groups righ now, doesn't mean Backstreet Boys will pass by like a tumble weed on a breezy day. there music is special, it's funky, fun, danceable, heart-warming, and just special. I say they should make a new genre of music and list the Boys under it. I do agree with that not everything lasts forever but you know what, many things do! And their music will last and have a special place in our hearts.

I really think that the Backstreet Boys will always be proving themselves to the critics. Because they were labeled a "boy band" they will be thought of that first. I believe they are trying to appeal to a more mature audience. Sorry to say, but our age range is kind of picky and we tend to roll with the trends. If they can appeal to a more mature and adult audience they may come in and out of the music world, but they will have more lasting power. *NSync when you watch them perform, they perform to a younger audience. I'm not bashing them, but I do believe that it is doubtful that *NSync will last. As long as the boys keep improving by each cd, there shouldn't be a problem. They're not a bomb that has days and minutes ticking away.

Uh, excuse me lady, ever heard of a little thing called the rolling stones? Aerosmith? I agree that the other phony boy bands will eventually fade(coughcoughN'SYNCcoughcough) but the bsb are one of the most talented groups ever and true talent always lasts. This lady should have a reality check.

I think that lady who said all that crap about the backstreet boys not being around for very much longer doesn't know what she is talking about. Yeah you can't keep listening to just one group for years and years, but with the Backstreet Boys it's a totally different story. For each album they come out with, they keep on getting better and better. Soon I will be 16, and I'm sure that when I'm old and have kids, I will still be liking the Backstreet Boys. I am what you call a "true BSB fan" and so far I have been listening to the Millennium CD for 8 1/2 months straight not missing one single day, and ya know what, I'm not even tired of it. Try doing that with NSync!!! That lady doesn't know what a good boy band is when she hears one and must realize that there are true fans out there that won't just wake up one day and decide that "Oh today I hate the Backstreet Boys." It's just not gonna happen. Sorry lady.

I think this is INSANITY! We all KNOW that BSB will be around for a long time. Look how long they've lasted already! They're growing with their fans, yes. But they are also gaining more older/younger fans as they mature. They have a far more diverse audience than NStYNC ever will! They aren't just a quote-unquote "boy-band", they are singers, real people! They have so much talent, how can anyone think that they'll be gone any time soon? I know that the girl groups are getting more popular, and I'm happy b/c PYT happens to be some of my best friends, and they are really talented, as is Mandy Moore, but that doesn't mean that this will push the BSB out of the spotlight. There's room for everyone, altho I do admit there are way too many untalented boy bands out there...not mentioning any names (*cough cough* NStYNC, 98, WESTLIFE, MYTOWN, NO AUTHORITY, EYC, etc.)In my opinion, the BSB is here to stay, forever and ever and ever and ever.....
