Okay, well, Sam, I know I told you I wouldn't come here for a while...but I had to. Krista was tellin me how she was gonna post a message and I needed to know what was here...but I promise I'll try to keep my cool this time.You know what i hate the most? People who do bad things just for attention. My brother does it all the time. He'd rather get the sh*t kicked outta him then be ignored. I can see quite a few people here who have that same attitiude. And I'm tellin you...it's that kinda attitude that's gonna get you in the end. You know what one I'm talkin' 'bout right? Here's a few examples of it.....
Example #1: From Mandy (God I LOVE this one):
"I think what they are doing is trying to take over the Backstreet Boys....."
Now time for what I think....I think you...just like all the rest of the losers here that posted before thinking, need to get a life. A tribute group does not mean a "We're gonna take over them and live their lives with their fame and fortune"....DREAM ON GIRL!
Tribute-->a speech, gift, compliment, etc. given in acknowledgement of admiration, gratitiude, or respect.
Lets learn a new word today, shall we?
Plagiarize-->to appropriate and pass off as one's own (writings, ideas, etc. of another)
So until their name says "Larger Than Life: The Plagiarists" I suggest you keep your mouth shut.
Example #2: From Chanel (I know I've already commented, but I couldn't resist again):
"I think these boyz are stupid....and those stupid "fans" that diss others that dislike the "boyz" need some HELP...."
For 1...we don't diss others that don't like the boyz...we stand up for the guys and what is right for them. And comments such as "They're ugly," or "not talented" are not appropriate ways of expressing one's opinion. You have just demonstrated a complete lack of maturity and have completely contradicted yourself. You call us "stupid teeny-boopers" and yet y\in your first sentence you post "I think these boyz are stupid..." Nice goin'!
Stupid-->very slow of apprehension or understanding
hmmm...doesn't sound like them to me...as far as i know they're all quite intelligent people.
Example #3: From KpSwTeE (you started off just fine...what the hell happened??!)
"Whuddup?!? First off, my opinion on this whole Backstreet Boyz thing is basically, I don't like it. It's great that they like the Backstreet Boys and that this is to make a tribute for them but I'm sorry, it just doesn't work..."
K, that part of it I like...why can't people learn to say their opinions like THAT? What happened after that though?
"...I don't know how many people thought that it was good, but it doesn't sound anything like him. AJ has raspy, soul-funk, sounding voice and this guy sound like crap. All together, their harmonies are off so the group sounds like sh*t...."
AHEM! were you listenin to it on the site? Yeah, I thought so. Wait till you hear 'em live hun...or even on the phone is great....
Well, I'm gonna go now 'cause I have a very bad habit of leaveing extrememly long posts that take people hours to read. *lol* I promised I'd behave, and well, I think I've done a pretty good job. If anyone has anything to say, feel free to let me know. I'm pretty open minded when it comes to opinions...but it's when you have no idea who the people are or what they're about that really pisses me off. Well, I'll see everyone later. i hope to hear from a few people.

Hey, I so totally agree with all the people who say give them a chance. They are a really good group. They are not trying to take over the Backstreet Boys, and they are not trying to be better than them. I don't think you guys are being very fair to them. They are giving you their best and you are dissin them like that. Ok not everybody has to like them, and i appreciate that, but you don't have to go around saying that they are ugly and they sound terrible. I mean how would youlike it if people were saying all over the web that you are ugly. i don't think you would like that very much. These people have feelings just like everyone else and i think you should respect that. They do get hurt when you people say these things about them. You would be too, wouldn't you? Yeah that's what i thought. so i guess you should think about what you write and who's feelings you are going to hurt before you write it. I support these guys in every way possible and it makes me so mad the things that people are saying about them.. It hurts me just as much as it hurts them cause I know what they are all about and they are my friends and I don't like to see them hurting either. Sorry if i offended any of you, but this is how i feel, and if you don't like it, well there's nothing I can do about that.

OK LET ME JUST SAY THAT THERE IS NOTHING LIKE THE REAL THING. THAT HAVING BEEN SAID, THESE GUYS ARE NOT BAD BUT IT IS WEIRD TO HEAR SOMEONE WHO THINKS THEY SOUND LIKE BRI, KEV,AJ, HOWIE OR NICK. I MEAN THEY ARE UNIQUE IN THE SOUND THEY HAVE WITH ONE ANOTHER AND IT CANT BE IMITATED. SO IT IS A NICE TRY AND HOPEFULLY DONE WITH RESPECT FOR THE REAL "BOYS".

Hey what's up all?? I want to say thanx to all thoses people out there who are saying nice things about the backstreet boyz. They are really nice arn't they?? And they are also very cute too.But to all those people out there who do not like them why?? This is in regards to what Mandy said... The Backstreet Boyz (LARGER THAN LIFE) are not trying to take over the Backstreet Boys. As Sam so eloquently put it (in his post)and I quote, "This Backstreet Boy thing is just a job. Believe it or not, I dont want to be A.J, I've got enough problems being me! No need to take on someone else's! I'm more than happy being who I am and I do have my own identity." Get over it chickie...haven't you ever heard that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? I think that applies to LARGER THAN LIFE and any other tribute band thats out there.
And another thing, I am not a backstabber because I went to see the Boyz in concert, I went because the real ones would never set foot in Maine (well, I don't know that, but still...), not to mention the ticket was given to me for Christmas. Believe me, I will take what I can get and if it means watching over an hours worth of guys pretending to be the Backstreet Boys, then so be it. And believe me, it was totally worth my time...
I think that the guys are really nice and sweet and its pretty cool that they perform BSB songs for a living. The fact that there ARE guys out there that do like the Backstreet Boys is pretty nifty. LARGER THAN LIFE is not making fun of the BSB's music, if they were, they wouldn't try so hard to be realistic.

I think what they are doing is trying to take over the Backstreet Boys. I hate it and I also think people who go to see them are just back stabbers since they go to see a fake band. I don't think doing this is a tribute to the boys. I think it is making fun of their music.

i cant believe how rude and god damn ignorant so off these people are. i agree with my friend Kris "those boys are god damn fine, and from what i've heard extremely talented."how dare you guys have the audacity to diss someone you don't even know.
how would you feel if some ignorant person came in here and started dissing the bsb for being clones of other bands or not working hard when u know its true.
the tribute boys are not claiming to be the bsb, in fact they are fans of the bsb, guys that look up to them, and want to sing there songs, and recreate thier moves, because they too r fans.
im not trying to force my opinion on nobody, but when you start making lame @$$ comments such as they are "ugly" cos you think your protecting your fav band, then think about it.
i bet if the bsb saw the larger than life act, they'd be flattered that some guys are taking the time to recreate them as a TRIBUTE!

Hello all...As you probably know, I'm Sam the A.J impersonator. I just want to clear the air here. This Backstreet Boy thing is just a job. Believe it or not, I dont want to be A.J, I've got enough problems being me! No need to take on someone else's! I'm more than happy being who I am and I do have my own identity. That goes for me, and the rest of us. Think about it, do Elvis impersonators really want to be Elvis? If you dont like the idea of a tribute, that's fine. You are entitled to that opinion, and hey, If I could please everybody then I would be the luckiest guy alive... but unfortunately I'm only human! Bringing the BSB shows to people that dont get a chance to see the real guys is not an excuse. The reason why we're out there is because The Backstreet Boys are HUGE and there is a BIG demand for them--that's where we come in, it's that simple. It's entertainment and at a fraction of the cost! Think about it... The Backstreet Boys sell out within the first 5 minutes of ticket sales... we too sell out! This tells us that we're on the right track. I saw the Backstreet Boyz (LARGER THAN LIFE) in concert back in December and I was really impressed with how much they are like the real things. I also got to talk to a couple of them after the show and was amazed at how personable and
approachable that they are. I also talk to the one that plays AJ on Yahoo Messenger and ICQ from time to time. He really
is a nice guy, and a huge flirt! If you have a chance to see them live, go for it, they are well worth it!
