Gabriel (aka the Nick Carter of the group) is releasing his very own solo album and we are here to help promote him and get the recognition he deserves! anyways I just thought i'd put in my two cents about what that guy said about how there shouldn't be a tribute act because the real BSB are still around. So what? A tribute act is not just for artists or bands that have boken up or are no longer around. A tribute act is the most sincere form of flaterry and if I were the real BSB i would be proud to know that someone out there is paying TRIBUTE to me! The Calgary Stampede just ended and I saw the guys many times (since they performed 3 times a day for 10 days straight!). I have to say that I LOVE Russ, Gabe (check out www.gabriel-esquad.cjb.net ), Nick, Matt, and Carlos! So they're not the real thing, but ya know what, when you're there caought up in the music that doesn't even matter. I thought their performances were great......but I LOVE the guys even more. They are all the SWEETEST guys I have ever met and I'm sad they had to go. For those of you who haven't seen them yet I suggest you go and at least see them once...cuz they are talented and worth meeting when it's over!! LOVE YA GUYS!! Submitted by Alex from L.A. California USA Date: Tue Jul 16 17:12:24 2002 Now, I'm not trying to put anyone down, but in my opinion, a tribute group should be made when the real group is done. Backstreet Boys are not done! Why would you listen to a group of guys trying to "be BSB" when you can listen to and enjoy the real BSB; the real music, concerts, etc. And the person that said there are enough imitations out there is right. Enjoying the real BSB is flattering. I can only hope that fans start being as loyal and appreciative to the real BSB as they have been and continue to be for us. KTBSPA for the real guys.
