I honestly agree with this article. I knew that the boys had to do a lot, but I never really realized how much that they do have to do. I know that they don't get much privacy and they definatly do need time to themselves, like we all do, but if I did see them walking down the street I would still go and CALMLY ask for their autograph. And I think that all of you would too. But this really was a great article and I think it made a lot of us open our eyes more to the actual job of the Backstreet Boys.

I THINK BEING A BACKSTREET BOYS IS REALLY HARD. PEOPLE SEE IT AS OHH, YOU JUST SING AND PEOPLE LOVE YOU! I PERSONALLY DON'T THINK THE SAME WAY. YOU HAVE SOO MANY RESPONIBILITIES. AND ALSO, THERE CAN BE SO MANY RUMORS ABOUT YOU, SO YOU HAVE TO ALWAYZ HAVE AN EYE OUT ON THESE THINGS. TO TELL THE TRUTH, EVEN THOUGH I DON'T TELL ANYONE THIS, I KNOW NICK FROM BSB, I MEAN I'VE SEEN HIM. WHEN I USED TO LIVE IN FLORIDA, I WAS FRIENDS WITH AARON- EVEN THOUGH WE WEREN'T CLOSE REALLY, AND ONCE I MET NICK THROUGH HIM. WE TALKED ABOUT HOW BIG OF A FAN I WAS AND HE EXPLAINED TO ME THAT BEING A BACKSTREET BOY WAS A HARD JOB ~~~ BUT STUPID, STUPID ME, I LOST CONTACT WITH THEM. IF YOU THINK I'M LYING, WELL I'M NOT, BUT BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT, AND IF YOU WANNA E~MAIL ME CUZ OF THE WHOLE THING WITH ME MEETING NICK AND AARON, THEN DON'T BOTHER. PEACE~

I really think that that was a good article about them, but I do think that more goes into being a backstreet boy than you say.You forgot the most important things about the job. It's not only music videos, singing, dancing and photo shoots. It's all about the role thing. The Backstreet Boys have to put alot of heart and soul into their music, and they also have to think about a lot of people listening to their music of ages ranging from 5-105,really, and they have to make their music and photos and dancing the best that they can be while everyone,no matter what age or whatever, can enjoy. I know that that is quote unquote "what you meant to say" or "what you said," but you did not list their hearts and souls and everything that they have and have worked for and what they have accomplished. So,you may think that it is all fun being mobbed and fun JUST dancing and singing, but whoa, you guys are TOTALLY wrong if you think that that is all that there is to being a BSB. None of us know exactly what it's like to be a superstar like a BSB,but I have a pretty good idea and it's way more than just singing dancing and videos and having the time of your life while just relaxing and having all the free time in the world. BIG NO! P.S..I love the Backstreet Boys! Nick is mine, and I can't wait for their concert in February!

I couldn't have said it any better. People need to realize that the guys are just plain humans. They eat, sleep, bleed, cry and do every other human function. Fans need to respect their space. I think it is okay to ask for their autograph but only if you do it in a calm, respectful manner. Not running up to them screaming and jumping and grabbing on to them. That isn't cool. If I ever had a chance to meet them I would surely thank them and tell them how much of an effect that they have on my life. Buying their records helps but just saying a simple thank you always makes their day a little brighter. KTBPA!

I'm sure the boys wouldn't mind us asking for a picture or an autograph. I hate to inform you but if I saw one of them on the street and a camera was on hand I would be snapping pics like there's no tomorrow. I would also ask for an autograph AND say thank you. I agree with everything else on there except for that one part.

EVERYBODY WHO READ THE ARTICLE, I AGREE THAT THEY ARE VERY HARD WORKERS AND DESERVE TO BE WHERE THEY ARE. AND STEALING THEIR STUFF IS NOT THE BEST WAY TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT. INSTEAD, STICK TO VOTING ON TRL AND SENDING LETTERS. IN FACT, TODAY "SMTMOBL" DEBUTED AT #1! KEEP UP YOUR ENTHUSIASM, BUT TRY NOT TO INJURE YOURSELF AND ANYBODY ELSE!

Hey..after reading your article on this..I totally agree. Ya know..actually I've sat down and thought about this before. I look at them everytime I see them on tv..and I'm like.how do they do it? It amazes me how they keep getting up and doing this everyday...for us...the fans. Even though we go crazy sometimes when they're around...they keep doing it for us. They're normal people yes..but I mean.they stand out to me..because they do sooo much everyday..that a normal person doesnt do in a lifetime. I'm 16 years old...and yes..I admit to screaming I love You Nick..and daydreaming about marrying him...but if I met him..I doubt that I would ask for an autograph. I just want to be able to meet him and tell him and the BSB how much they mean to me..by doing what they do everyday. I want to tell them thank you for doing what they do..photo shoots..touring..tv appearances..press conferences, etc. I just wanted to thank you..the person that wrote that article..for bringing all of that out. Keep the Backstreet Pride Alive!!

I think that this is a very good article. I think it brings up a lot of points that fans sometimes don't think about. I also think that the Mature fan club is a great organization but I only have one problem with it...the name. Whats to say that the younger fans, like take myself for instance, aren't just as mature as the older ones.
