After reading some of these entries, I was reminded of an incident. When I went to the BSB concert in Montreal on January 5th '98

I would like to thank Lori for writng an amazing and incredibly true article about the guys. Think of how much the BSB do for there fans. It's amazing! I mean they must sign so many autographs a day right? They work there butts off for us!! After all the stuff they have done for us, I think that it's definately time for us to repay them. I know that i have never met any of them, and if i did i would probably jump on Brian or something, but now that i think about, ALL the fans scream in there face, right? So i say if you really want them to remember you, DON'T DO THAT! They'll have so much more respect for you if you just say "thanxs". and there's nothing wrong wih wanting an autograph, just control yourself! I think everyone should send the word along to all your BSB fans. Have a little respect for them and show them that your a TRUE fan. KTBPA!!!

Hey! I just want to say that I totally agree with Lori's article. Some fans are just way out of hand and need ot get a grip on reality. Thanx G

I totally agree with Lori. I mean, she's right! The way that we(all fans in general) tend to act is not always the best way to deal with that situation. If there are any people that would like to "critisize" my opinion then e-mail me and see if I really care. But, to all of you who agree- "GO YOU!!" c-ya people!!

i totally agree with what you wrote. i think people who stalk them at their hotel or steal their things are just really immature and are not true fans. True fans respect and admire them. its ok, i guess to scream and whatever, but it shouldnt get out of line.

Ok, first of all, Backstreet Boys do give alot for the fans, BUT, that's what they're expected to do. Anyone who goes into the music industry knows that this is eventually going to happen if you ever get as big as the Backstreet Boys. They were taking this risk, and they knew this was going to happen. Yes, I do agree that fans shouldn't steal from them, and that fans shouldn't try to do anything that would harm them physically, but an AUTOGRAPH! I mean, PLEASE PEOPLE, THAT IS WHAT THEY'RE HERE FOR!!!!!!!!! DUH! They want to give out autographs and are happy to do it (most of the time), and if they don't like giving out autographs, then they should have thought about that a long time ago! Although, my opinion (and I think everyone else's) is that they like giving autographs, they like what they're doing, and they're willing to pay the price if that's what it takes! Now, don't anybody get me wrong, I'm a die-hard BSB fan! But, I think that even the Backstreet Boys themselves would agree with this.

The article is great. I only have one question: What's Backstreet Boys, Inc.? If anyone knows, can you answer me?

To say that the article was harsh is putting it lightly. It's not that I haven't thought about all those things before. I'm just 13 and I know about a lot of reality, but then again I've been exposed to an awkward life... It's true, fans take advantage of what they give us, but it's mostly unintentional. I love those men with all my heart. They taught me to love when my family taught me everything but it. I would never scream and yell and chase after them. I would just leave them alone. Well, if I happened to see them in a mall, I'd be curious and just sort of follow them... from a distance. I wouldn't bother them, this is their "free-time." They deserve everything good that comes their way and always more. But we can't offer any more than they actually take. And we can barely offer more than just our love and support. I apologize if I sound rude... but.. well.. I'm sorry.
