I believe the greatest thing we can do for the BSB is pray for them. Not just for right now, but for their futures. They have many big decisions ahead of them. I pray they can make the right choices; and they will be happy and content.

I agreed with every single thing that I just read. I couldnt have said it better even if I wanted too. I'm 16 and a huge BSB fan but I know where to draw the line when it comes to them. I think that the younger generation such as myself...sould come to an understanding that they are human. I also think that it shouldnt take us to get in our 20's and 30's b4 we realize things like this. I'm sure it's getting to them by now. 6 almost 7 years in this business...it has to get hard after awhile...but they are true to their fans and they keep going not only for the love of their music but for the love of their fans. Hardly anyone seems to understand that. The fans keep taking and expecting more and more everday. If they didnt make it to your town...dont whine about it and blame them. It isnt their fault. I'm sure they dont sit down in a room and say things like "I think we should skip Texas this year. It gets too hot" They dont even know where they are going half of the time. They just get on a bus and go...lol...I just wish they didnt get all the greif they get about personal lifes and things of that sort. It's not fair one bit. I one of those fans that give money to their charitys. I earned 300 bucks over the summer and 150 of that was split between Brians and Howie D's charity. I'm all about giving back. They've done enough for me. Not it's my turn to give them what they've given me.

When I read the article on being a Backstreet Boy, I realized that they do put a lot of work into what they do. I notice that in my life it is hard to find time for myself and that can get frustrating. I don't want to even imagine what they are going through. I don't know if many people can even comprehend what their life is like, touring here, going there. The days must go by like a blur. I never realized to thank them, but now I realize that they are giving up their lives to make us happy and they deserve more respect then having girls push and pull just to see them. I am glad someone wrote the article, all of the info needs to be said so people can realize that they put so much into their work.

I agree very much with the article.Especially about the part when she mentioned how some fans yell, "I Love You Nick" or "Marry Me".I honestly love BSB for their music and what it has done to my life.Nope Im not just saying that because I want ot be looked at as a good fan.I used to do some bad things in my life I made alot of mistakes but now, all because of BSB's music I've become a better person.

Hey I just wanted to say that first of all of course we all love the BSB & they have said their self that they like the screems from the girls when the lights go down and they come out but they also said that they get tired of it & wish people would just treat them normal. They can't even get out at a gas station without being noticed, & yeah wouldn't we all love to have a pice of grass that Nick MIGHT have touched in the past year, I mean come on I wouldn't like to come home to a bear yard after being away on tour for that long. If you ever get a change to meet them then don't screem, just walk up and say hi.It's that simple & they will love you for it.One last thing on the girl friend subject I heard this from someone else but I think it's verry true & something for us all to think about: Dear Nick's girl friend(or any of them), I don't know you but all I can say is that you are the luckiest girl alive and I hope you take good care of him for me.

Hello , fello BSB fans and a happy new year! I have read the article on Being a Backstreet Boy and i agree 100% with what was said. I believe that the life of a celebrity is not made up only of photo shoots and big salaries, but a lot of press and media involvement and no personal life, and definitely a lot of hard work. BSB are no exception, with all of the horrible troubles that they have encountered it is amazing to see that they have not given up on their career, and i do believe a little of it did have to do with the fans! Yes ever single one. Most people believe that Backstreet Boys are a boy band , they are a vocal group and they are adored by people of all ages and races. We all need to come together and support them and the work that they do not only on their sex appeal. The last thing any of us want is to see them hurt or in pain, from the SMTMOBL video we saw what it looked like. I personally was a screaming chasing pre-teen fan in my days of NKOTB and i learned that all that hype got you no where, at 21 i have realized that BSB are to be respected as performers and people. I mean no disrespect. They do a wonderful job at their careers, and come across as grounded and normal people, who DO appreciate all that the fans do and we should treat them as normal people...i bet it may even make it easier to get an autograph or that picture if AJ, Kevin, Brian, Nick and the sweet Howie D are just treated as people. Say hi and thank you for making great music, it will go a long way rather than getting yourself killed chasing after a tour bus or arrested for being in a hotel room. Love them as they love you, simply and respectfully!! Hugs and loves, Sweetlin**Linda*

Alright I read the Life of a backstreet boy and I absolutly agree. Sometimes fans go too far. Stealing their stuff, How would that help proclaim your 'love' for their music or the way you appreciate their finer attributes.

Hi my names Natalia im 16 and im from Latin America ( Dominican Republic) , well i have to say that I DEFINIDLY AGREE with Lori...some of the fans dont care about all the things u mentioned...but i do...I couldnt live my life like they live theirs...i think it must be desperate for a person (like the boys ) to live in that rush , to having no time for anything , no private lives , no familiar moments ,no time with their girlfriends , no sleeping , and lots of things more that doesnt come to my mind right now...the good thing is that they love singing and they love making great music...and we the fans are very fortunate and lucky for having such a TALENTED , HARDWORKING , STRONG AND DEDICATED boys to look up to and to admire...

Hi, I'm just writing to thank the women who wrote the article and also the fans who agree with what she wrote or at least took a minute to reevaluate what it means to be a true fan. When I went to the BSB's concert on Sept. 29th. I planned to have a huge sign that said THANK YOU. But the arena wouldn't allow signs inside so I couldn't have it. I still feel that the guys realize that there are alot more good fans than bad. And as many of you have said before I agree that people really shouldn't disrespect the guys by insulting their girlfriends. Truthfully, if I was ever to yell anything at Brian's girlfriend it would probably "thankyou" or something along those lines. No I'm not thanking her for being his girlfriend! Leighanne is my role model believe it or not because she is an actress, and it is my dream to become an actress. She inspires me not to give up because although she isn't famous yet and has only had small roles, she hasn't given up. Don't you think Brian and the rest of the guys would a lot more proud of their fans if they knew that they respected their girlfriends because of who they are. Instead of insulting them just because of who they are with. So I just want to encourage more people teens and adults alike to be real fans, that the guys wouldn't mind having a conversation with or signing an autograph for. Instead of giving them the impression that all their fans are just hormonal teens who think they're in love with them, they should be able to see more of the fans who's lives they have mad a real difference in.
