I think she may have that point of view because like she said shes like 30 but all of what she said is true. If you love them why steal from them? If you TRULY wanted to be Nicks or any of the fellas #1 fan...You'd leave them be and not TRY to go to their homes and bug them. My point is..they are humans...They need private time the same as anyone else in the world. Let them have it. Putting on a smile everytime a fan, camera or anything comes by them. They are 100% prue humans just like you and me, who have hit it BIG TIME!! These poor guys, I know they love their work, and they deserve RESPECT!! A whole lot of it. I know most girls will agree, but you will always get a group of crazy-dumb-ass girls who will do anything to get to them. Even steal from them. Now how pathetic is that? I especially agree with the part about saying "THANK YOU" instead of"Marry me" or I love you". On my website, i have a link called "BSB are HUMAN" which describes some of the bad fan contacts they have had, such as having necklaces stolen, and feet crushed. You are absolutely right, and I am very glad that you wrote this article. I get real embarrassed for girls that confess their undying love when they are given the opportunity to meet or ask the boys a question. How are they supposed to react to that? The Backstreet Boys are human, and I think that they would appreciate being treat like humans, not objects on display. They have eardrums, they have the need to sleep, and get fresh air just like the rest of us. I have a LOT of respect for the Boys, and someday, I would love to meet them, and tell them that I respect them, as people and their music. That's one of the best articles I've read on this subject. I hope people write more of this kind. I love the guys, I do. But I don't go around screaming "I Love You Nick" or "Marry Me AJ". Grow up. While it's very flattering, it's not what they want to hear all the time. And they do hear it ALL THE TIME. Let the guys have a life. So, why don't we make "their" day and instead of screaming so loudly that their ears bleed, just smile nicely and thank them. Thank "them" for giving up their whole personal and normal life to make so many people happy. I totally agree with what everyone has said. Like someone else said, maybe we as fans are "Larger Than Life" - but couldn't we be so much more if we treated them like humans, instead of 5 gorgeous guys who seem to be the world to us? Can you actually say with a 100% sureness, that the boys, wouldnt be so much more grateful, if all the fans were so much more calmer, and not looking like they're going to kill them. Cause sometimes thats what it looks like. They just want their fans to be safe, and that can't happen if everyone's bugging out. I mean i'm 16, and i have never acted that way. i mean i have the cds, the books, the tapes, the posters, but when i seen them, i didn't bug out. They would be so much more appreciative if you did say "thank you" instead of "I love you, i wanna *@^# you, i wanna have your baby" and so forth. And the thing with the girlfriends, you have to be respectful of the girls, because they are part of the guys. They love their girlfriends, just like you love the boys, but with their g/f's its so much deeper.
