Arite, what is all this with "dirty lil secret" being "not good" for the backstreet boys?? Whoever says that "lil" is a word that can only appear in rapper's songs is just sooooooooooooo closed minded. i cant believe people these days. everyone knows that backstreet boys try to expirement with new sounds as much as they can and this time theyre doing it with shakira and jd. cmon people, thats the best of 3 worlds. why cant you be enthusiastic rather than judging the song before it has even come out. it is difficult for artists to come back into the music scene especially after a long hiatus, and we, as backstreet boys fans, should welcome them with open arms. can people just stop being closed minded?? have the backstreet boys ever let us down? ABSOLUTELY NOT! What makes you think that theyll do it this time especially when they have shakira and JD to back them up? have faith in them cuz i know, and im sure most of us here know, that the backstreet boys are gonna come out with a cd that'll blow everyone away. if you think that the song is not good for them, whatever! we'll see whos laughing when the song comes out and its the best thing to ever hit this earth.

I agree that the BSB should have a funny name for their new album. That "Banana" one would be funny I thought. Maybe ad "Rama" so it'd be:

BANANA RAMA
lol. I'm a little hyper today. I read other good ones on here too. A funny title would fit them too since they are so funny unlike the Justin Band who are just funny lookin'. lol

To Rozie: I like the name "Backstreet." it's simple but cool and it gives you the meaning of what kind of songs they sing... Edgy and hip and inspirational.

anyway, i thought of another name and here's my list:
"Identity"
"Backstreet's Back II"
"Naked Truth" (i dont know about this! lol)
"What We Loved Doing"
"Keeping Strong"
"Down...Not!"
"THEY keep us wonder" lol

P.S. Okay, we've been voicing our opinions. but can anyone tell me why they like NSync? I mean, HELLO???!!!!

I see that nobody commented on my suggestion for the new Album I wonder why. I have posted here a few times for differnt reasons and nobody says anything about them. Is The BSB fan base a closed shop? What's the deal? C'mon make a girl feel like she belongs. Serenity On The Edge P S Mtv always has it's favorite bands. Just look how Carson kisses up to NSuck and vice versus Gotta Go Love Peace and Geese

Hey steve, You're wrong dude im also a guy. I'm a bsb fan and i think they shouldnt call it that. WE ALL KNOW THAT ALREADY! Its too obvious. They should call it something creative and original.

I hope these guys come back strong, the "black and blue" album was awesome, I don't know why "get another boyfriend" never became a single. I think a good title could be "Changes" or "reflections" but what do I know, I'm just a guy (probably the only guy on here). If backstreet really wanted to be bold, they could name the album "backstreet boys: better than Nsync"

To me , I think the title of the new album should be something like "Chapter two: the journey begins" or maybe just "journeys" like if every song was a special musical trip. "Fame" could be cool too, and also "back and there", I don't know why but I also think about "never stop". But I have to say that my favorite is "Backstreet Boys _ the Outward Journey". It souds soooo Rock star.
xoxoxo to all the fans my spirituals siblings, peace to all of you God Bless you and my idols the backstreet Boys!!!!!!!!

To Marieke, happy birthday. I agree about having a funny title. I think critics, as well as some fans, are looking for the Boys to have a title that has a deep, personal meaning to it, like Millennium or Black & Blue. But if you want a funny title, this one is one of my favorites:
Banana

You have to go through some old posts to understand it, or just use your imagination! It's not my own, but I don't remember who came up with it!

P.S. I created a message board on MTV.com takling about Backstreet Boys Appreciation Day, under my alias bsbfangirl23. Go check it out and let your opinions be known!

I was just thinking (again!!haha) about a title for the new album ya know. A lot of fans (including myself of course, thanxx for liking Overcome by the way...) have got titles that got to do with their problems over the last few years, but wasn't Chapter 1 about closing that part of their lives and starting a new chapter.
So now I'm like, the new album should have this really just funny name. A title that just puts a smile on your face haha!!

I'm sorry if I'm just making no sense, but I turned 17 today and I feel kinda old...and I also have this feeling that I have to say grown-up things or something. I really really don't know where that feeling is coming from, but it's here and I just can't get rid of it haha!! Maybe tomorrow?!

Anyways, don't y'all agree on the new title part??

Take care,

Hey, everyone. I just saw Vin's Girly's new post, about starting some petition for BSB. I have an MTV.com profile and have been itchin' to put it to good use, so I'll do what I can to get the word out about BSB.
Also, about the album title, "Glory" is a good name, but it's been mentioned by soooo many people that I think it's starting to get played out. I personally like the title "All Washed Up (or so they said)". I thought that was pure genius! I don't know who submitted it, I think someone named Steve, but i still loved it!
Peace & Love,
Kristy
P.S. To Vin's Girly and JoJo, I respect both of your opinions because you state them in a mature and honest way. If you ever want to chat, check my name on top of the post and drop an email sometime!

I love the names "Brother's United" and "Glory" sent in by previous viewers, but i personally love "Original" or "Originality." It shows that this album is their work (just like all the others before that nsuck copied) and they're confident twith doing their own thing and not going with the flow. KTBSPA!!!!! and let me know it y'all like it.

Hi, everyone.

I've been reading some of these posts. Some are quite funny while others are complete genious. Anyways, I just want to share my little story about the BSB being more popular than "The Justin Band" (hahahah).
I was watching CNN and they were interviewing kids, like teens and stuff, from over in the Middle East. Asking them what kind of stuff they liked and all that. Anyway the reporter asked them what kind of music they listen to. They said they listened to Micheal Jackson, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston AND the Backstreet Boys, among others.
The reporter then asked them if the liked Nsync and Britney Spears. You wanna know what they said?
"Who's Nsync and Britney Spears?" The'd never even heard of them before! This is over in the middle east people. I personally thought it was amazing. Not even the fact that they never heard of Nsync, althouh I laughed my ass off at that, but that they knew who our boys are. It's a amazing. One girl even got right excited when the boy said the Backstreet Boys and they knew quite a bit about them.
I just thought that was cool.

Help me, please.

I use MusicMatch to play my mp3s but I am looking for a site to download some songs I don't have.

I used to use AudioFind but that site doesn't work anymore.

I tried AudioGalaxy but they told me something about a proxy and the Satellite won't work for people using proxies.

So, can you please tell me some sites that you use to get your free downloads.

(The keyword is FREE)

Thanx,
JoJo

Hi there everyone,
Well, i have been reading some of the posts and thanks to all of those who agree with me and my recent post. I truly mean't what i said, and i am glad that people heard me out. Now i read below that someone (im sorry i don't remeber the name) mentioned something about going to TRL on April 19th, to support our boys and prove that they are still HERE. i think everyone who can do that should go. I would myself but i live too far away from NY. But those who can go PLEASE, go. i mean this could be the first time any group gets something like that, and it would be great to have someone tell MTV the reason for that. As for the rest of us who cannot get there, we should do something in our will power. Now has you can see by my nickname. i am a fan of Vin Diesel, and people had a little trouble getting two of his movies out and they started an online petition to have the movies released on theathers rather than going straight to video. And it worked. Both movies are coming out sometime in the fall. My point is that it worked. But i don't know how they started that, i will try to find out. Now the petition would be about letting our guys have the recognition that they need to have. Or something a little less complicated you could go to MTV.com and make a post or e-mail someone or soemthing letting them know about the April 19th or even to complain about how they are not recognized enough. That's just an idea. If you like the petition idea let me know, you could e-mail me or post, and i will find out which Vin website i got it from. Hope that helps.

PS. Never stop spreading the backstreet pride!!!!!!!!!!!

Also even though i agree that people such as carson should not be blamed for the misunderstood facts about BSB, i do want to try to make sure that people know BSB are here to stay. At the same time i know it is kind of irritating to see Nsync every where. but BSB's "boy band" days are long gone and these are nsync's boy band days, soon the hype around them will end just like BSB's did, and we'll see if they can survive being just a Vocalizing group, which they are considered to be. Nsync is very talented, and i listened to them as much as BSB but their sound is changing and they are turning much more like R&B rather than pop, and i think that they are kind of losing they're identity, and even though i appreciate all kinds of music, you can tell when someone is in it just for the $$$. Well sorry to bore you with testament everytime i post it's like a novel book. Sorry. LOL :0)

C-yall soon
Vin's Girly!!!!!!

Hey Backstreet chicks, how's everyone today? Good? Okay.
I have some opinions (as always) to share. First of all, to Vin's Girly. I have great respect for what you have said. We get so defensive of our boys being dissed by MTV, we take it out on Carson, N'SYNC, or whoever is out there to be mad at. The Boys are having some well-deserved downtime and recording their new album, and we should rejoice in that. However, as you said, we all have the right to free speech, and although I dislike N'SYNC, I will try, as I hope others will too, to keep my comments about them to a minimum. I just got fed up and annoyed with seeing them every single day in the news that I needed to vent.
Anyway, new business. Overcome seems to bece a new favorite, and it is kinda nice. But I still like Phoenix, Exposed, and After the Rain. There are others I really like, but I can't remember them right now. Peace and love!
~Kristy
P.S. I said in one post that I wasn't crazy about Kevin's mohawk, but I saw him on TRL yesterday and the new 'do is starting to grow on me.
P.P.S. Who won on the Cosmogirl poll?

I thinkmaybe it should be called "The Next Chapter", you know, to kinda play off of "Chapter One"

And hey, Vin's Girly, I couldn't have said it better myself. Right on.

When we say that MTV sucks, we mean MTV in the United States.

I'm sure the MTVs overseas aren't all that biased, but in the U.S. MTV doesn't respect people who try to make good music =BSB; they care about who sells (out) = Nsync.
