MTT is a beautiful song to begin with, and the video was very mature, pretty, and simple. I really loved the way the guys were so emotional. So what if it was a little overdone? At least it shows they can grab our attention without any special effects. :-D Anyways, I would have liked MTT to have a slightly better plot . . . or at least have a plot. ;-) I was expecting something more like the SMTMOBL video. It was very simple but it made u listen to the song, and of course that song is so beautiful! I thought what more could a BSB fan ask for five good-looking men in the desert? Nothing right? Wrong! These five men have surcomed such angst in the past 9 years, that I couldn't believe that they would be around this long. I know I'm gonna some e-mails on that one. But I look at as they have grown into such handsome, and good-natured young men. This video is telling us fans "thank you for all that you've done, and given us throught the years." I'm glad they've taken this video and made it less stereotypical of "boy bands" (dancing, pretty models, etc.) Also, since there aren't any eye-catching effects (no offense to people who consider the screen a mind-blowing effect) and since there isn't fast action, the Boys have to portray a lot more through their actions and facial expressions rather than the FX. It requires a lot more emotion and is harder to do because everything is focused on them and they carry the weight of making it a good video with just themselves and their *WONDERFUL* voices. This was one of their really great videos that isn't trying to out-do itself, and I think they put a lot of effort into it. (Besides, you think of a really really good plotline for the song More Than That - I was wondering how they were gonna pull it off before the video) Not to mention that the Boys were hot as ever. Anyway, the video was AWESOME and I hope everyone is requesting it via radio and television. KTBSPA!!! It just so happens I was born only a few miles from the video set, and my parents knew exactly where they were (outside of a California town called Joshua Tree, although my birthplace is about five-ten minutes from there). Not only that, but when I think of the song "More Than That," I get a Latin vibe. When I think Latin, I think of the desert...which is where the video was filmed. I love the jumbo screen (it looked like the one they use on the Black & Blue tour, don't ya think?) and the old car (looks like a beat up version of the one used in "The Call," does anyone else think so?). I think the cool part about the car is that they have shoe polish written on it that says "4 Sale." They really create a rustic setting for the vid. Other things I liked in the video: ·Nick's overdramatic singing (so it's not real looking and it's overdramatic, but that's our Nick, isn't it?) ·AJ's timeless and beautiful expression and gestures (he looks as though he's truly putting his heart and soul into each and every word) ·Brian's familiar simplicity (the gentle way he puts his hands to his chest when he sings, or when he pounds his fist in the air to the beat of the song) ·Kevin's all-around funkyness (he's now the one wearing cowboy hats) ·Kevin's climactic dancing ·How our Latin Lover, Sweet D, looks so unbelievably perfect in a desert setting My response to some irrelevant comments made here: ·Howie's hair has always been long guys, now you just see it straight and lengthy. It's usually curly and tied back in a pony tail, which leads you to believe it's shorter than it really is. You all aren't very perceptive ·Kevin's hair looks fine the way it is, leave the guy alone. He doesn't have to listen to you... ·CLEE - you need to check yourself before judging others or putting them down. You need to check spelling and grammar most of all ·MUSIC IS WHAT SHOULD MATTER, NOT WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE! Those of you who see the video and only go as deep as what the Boys currently look like, then how can you honestly say you are a BSB fan? A BSB fan isn't someone who just thinks Brian or AJ is hot. Think about it for a second. Their music is what counts, the videos and the way they are setup should interest us more than how "drop dead gorgeous" (quoted from about 20 of you) Nick looks. Now, let's keep the video at number one on TRL, and vote for the song so they can get yet another #1 hit. Well, i think that people should focus more on the boys music rather than their videos. Yes, I thought MTT was a great video, not too overdone, yet not too simple either. The screen in the background gave it a nice effect. It did however remind me a little too much of Madonna's "Don't tell me" but thats ok. Im not saying that videos are bad but im just saying that we need to give more support out their to their music rather than their videos. If you falling in love you can't think about something else beside your love. The song More Than That is the best love song of Backstreet Boys. If you can't understand how much love and feelings they put in this song,you never loves them. I can understand every word and every gesture of there arms. They cryed, but you don't want to hear them, you can think only about hair, dresses or how much money cast this video. The people which like the musik like me, don't need even the set for the video. it's not importent for me, only their musik and their feelings are very importent in every song.
