i was at the portland ore. concert,iwas sitting in a seat close to the stage..i had on a brian littrell healthy heart club shirt. brian saw this and spoke to me!! he said hey you got my shirt on!thank you iappreciate it or something like that.i was pretty excited that he noticed me and was talking to me! after all i am a 47 year old! but a big backstreetboys fan! i got his attention later on cause i had this pretty colorful easter bunny that i wanted him to have , he put his hands out to catch it; i threw it and it landed just short of him,but one of the security guys gave it to him and he carried it around with him for a long time!! the best part of that night was when they sang the shape of my heart. brian had on the healthy heart club shirt and i knew from the last three concerts that i was at(vancouver,and two in tacoma)that he would autograph it and give it to a lucky fan in the crowd...well lucky me!!!i got his attention again and i asked him if i could have his shirt.he said you want it? i put my hands together like a prayer and said yes please! hey said i'll give it to you! and when the song was over he autographed it and gave it to a security guy who then gave it to me! i was so happy at that moment! Brian is really a sweetheart! And thats my close encounter of the BSB kind!

Hey all BSB fans. OK this is what happened. Me and 1 girlfriend (whos name is also Sarah) and 1 of my guyfriends (whos name is Andrew but i call him AJ cuz he kinda looks like AJ McLean) just moved to Orlando. That day I decided to wear my baby blue tank top that says "Property of the Backstreet Boys" and we went out for a drive to learn the new city. AJ was driving and I was looking out the window to figure out where we were. I saw a house that looked so familiar. I yelled "AJ stop I know where we are." He stopped the car and I said "This is AJ McLean's house" We sat outside his house cuz I remembered that he wasn't on tour. We put in our B&B cd and we started to blast it. When we got to Everyone someone came out of AJ's front door and walked up to our car. Brian came up and he said "Do you 3 want to come in and hang out for awile?" I nodded ya and we walked inside. I started to cry cuz BSB is the best band ever. AJ said "Who are these 2 beautiful ladies and their friend?" Brian said "I didn't catch their names" I said "I'm Sara, this is Sarah and Andrew but I call him AJ" We all shock hands and AJ said "You wanna come to the living room?" Andrew said "Sure" and we walked into the living room. We talked for a couple hours and AJ got a phone call and he said "I'm sorry but we have to go." I gave AJ my number and he said "I will call you tomorrow." The next morning he called me. My mom and I went to both of the shows in Tacoma this year (feb 25 & 26). The second show we had front row seats.. AJ waved at me:).. anyway, after the show got over we decided that we would drive down to Portland and try to get tickets for the show down there. We had to stop and get gas, and when we got back on the freeway, this huge bus passed by us.. thoes tour bus drivers are something else. A second bus passed us and then a third, and we managed to follow that one all the way to the hotel in Porland. By the time we got there all the busses were waiting outsid the hotel. We had to find a place to park, and then we ran to the hotel. All of the sudden, the girls that were waiting outside, rushed to one side. At first I couldn't see who it was so I tried to get closer, inadvertendly putting myself right in the path that must be used to go into the hotel. Then I looked up and AJ was walking right toward me. He said hi, and asked how I was, and i was so surprised that all I could do was stare like 8-O. The security for the hotel shoved me out of the way and AJ walked in, promising everybody that he would come back out. The girls in front of us told us that Brian and Nick had aready come in. Then Howie was walking by, and I managed tog et my brain working enough to take a picture of him. We waited for a long time for Kevin to show up, but he didn't and it was cold so we finally left.

Hey all. Ok, I've never met the Backstreet Boys, even though that'd be awesome, but I have had a close encounter with them. Ok, it was at the Tacoma Washington concert on Feburary 26, I had row 14 seats on the floor. Great seats. Well, since I had gone to see them on Feburary 25, the night before, I new when they would come up on the small stage, so right before they were about to come up, me, my cousin, and sister all ran over to the small stage, we were right up front against to gate. When the rose I about died! I was 2 feet away, litterly. When Brian and Howie do the little duet, the other 3 guys sit on the edges, unfortuanlly my fav guy wasn't the one to sit by me, but instead AJ was, it was so cool, I was 1 inch away from touching him. This was my first BSB concert, and it was amazing both nights. I can't wait for them to come back to Washington. Both nights, I got points, smiles, winks, and waves, from each guy!!!! I had made a shirt at the mall, which was bright yellow so I'd stand out, and in big bold letters it said I love Nick, Nick saw my shirt and smiled and winked at me!! The first night Brian saw it and pointed to me, and the 2nd night, he remembered me, and he smiled and waved. I love these boys!! Have fun at future BSB concerts, and KTBPA!!!

HI!!! Back on feb 6, I went to Muchmusic to see the boys, cuz it's been, what 5 years, that I've been a fan and I've never been so close to them...anywayz, my friend got 2 wristbands to be in the front row outside (where thousands of other fans were). I was SO excited it's amazing. Okay, so BSB came out, and Nick was standing right in front of me. I had brought a special *soemthing* along, cuz I figured it'd attract their attention, and IT DID. Nick looked at it, then at me, then he did a cute giggle and said "a_____?" (I dun wanna tell anybody cuz it'd give it away). THen he WINKED at me, and all of a sudden took my hand, and held it for 5 seconds, looking right at me the entire time!!! I was just like WHOA!!! Then he said to me "Hold on, I'll be back" cuz he had to go back inside...wow. This Nick, one of the Backstreet BOys who I've been in love with for the past five years, was holding MY hand and looking right into MY eyes. I was SO HAPPY!!!! WOW!!!!! I LOVE BSB!!!!

WE MET KEVIN!!! That's all we've been saying since Feb 24th. It was the day before the Tacoma B&B concert, and we were going to our favorite hangout, an old malt shop. Anyway, we walked in and saw this really hot guy. Right next to him was the one and only Kevin Richardson (he was stretching.. how cute!) We were completely in shock that he was there.. our town is the smallest cowtown there ever was. We didn't bug him, figuring he wanted to be left alone. Kristen and his mom were with him, as well as the hot guy (we figure a body guard or something.. he was buff!). Kevin was so cool though. HE talked to US, and later as they were leaving, told us he'd see us at the concert the next day.. which he did. When the boys came into the center (RIGHT were we happened to be) good ol Kevin smiled and waved and said "I remember you!" Oh boy oh boy!

I was at the Feb 5 concert of the Black and Blue tour. I got tix to Backstreet Bus 2001, which left from the local mall. My friend and I got so worried when it started snowing, with the possibility of the bus getting canceled. When it didn't, we left early for the mall, and took a very dangerous (driving to long island in a blizzard) four hour trip to Nassau Colisseum. At 8 PM, we were almost in tears. We had missed the opening act, and BSB was supposed to come on at 8. We hadn't even gotten onto Long Island. When we got there FINALLY at quarter to 9, we ran in, and they collected signs at the door. My other friend who was with us was in tears, since her sign said "thank you", the guys had made her want to live. She found out the signs were going to the dressing room! We got to our seats, and amazingly, the show hadn't started yet. When the show started, we were kinda upset that our seats were so far from the stage, but then they came to the small stage in the middle of the audience directly in front of our seats. My friends and I were doing the signlanguage thing for "I love you" and Nick (who was on our side) did it back!!!!!

I never got to meet the BSB but me and my best friend, Kathy Erickson actually got to see them when they first came to Vancouver on Aug. 15, 1998. I made my foster dad drive us up there for 6 HOURS. N-E-WAYS, we got there, and about an hour after we got there, we saw two limos and we saw AJ {My first fave and Nick is my 2nd} and Nick {HER first fave and AJ is her 2nd fave} get out of one, and I had a hotdog with me and during the screaming and freaking out I was doing, I DROPPED MY HOTDOG ON AJ'S SHOULDER. We were up on a balcony above the limos and they were right below us, and thats when I accidentally dropped my hotdog{lol} Let me tell you that Mustard, ketchup and relish do NOT go well on a white muscleshirt... LOL :)

Ok, so I went to the concert in NJ on Feb. 3rd. We live in Massachsetts so we drove down wicked early to get settled into our hotel and stuff. Turns out the hotel was right next to the arena practically, so we went over there at about two hoping to maybe catch a glimpse of them or something. We went around back where there were lots of trailers and stuff, and we met up with a small group of girls waiting out back for the same reason, a few said they'd heard the Boys would be arriving at about three. So then this guy came out (named Tim I think?) and asked if we were all going to the show. We said yes and he asked if we wanted to be part of a fan conference!!!! We all almost died on the spot LOL so he gave us wristbands and told us where to be at three! We went in and at about 4:15 the boys came out! Oh my god I cannot even describe how amazing and breathtaking it is to see them in person. You're amazed and speechless but you realize that they are really just five real people. Some people got to ask questions (there were about 30 or 40 ppl. there maximium) I didn't but my best friend did. Then they let us take pictures for a minute and left! We were dying the whooole night, plus the concert was the best I've ever been to! We also saw AJ's new g/f, Sarah at the conference - I took a pic of AJ and her walking away, we weren't sure who she was. Anyway, it was the best thing that has seriously ever happened to me :) I'm getting some of my best pix scanned soon, I'll post them here when I do! Peace to all and KTBSPA!!

I'm sorry to have to tell you this but under no circumstances whatsoever do the characters at Disney wear nametags. Your mother probably just told you that to amuse you or whatever but that is not true. The characters are supposed to be the characters, not actors in suits. No one that works at Disney will refer to them as actors in suits because it destroys the illusion. If for example, a little kid wanted to find out where the Ninja Turtle was so he could get an autograph or something, if the employee (cast member) would say something like "there are a bunch of them runninf around," or "the guy that wears the suit is taking a break" he would get fired immediately.

OK this happened a long and I mean a LONG time ago. I think I was about 2 years old and my only wish was to go to Disney World. So, my parents took me there to see the Ninja Turtles (i was two years old, pplz liked them then). Well, anyways, after we met them, there seemed to be one Ninja turtle that I was just completely attached to. My mom practically BEGGED the guy to tell me to go b/c we hadn't done anything else on our trip but see Ninja Turtles. Well, my mom got so fed up that she looked at the tiny name tags that the actors wore when they had the suits on. You'll never guess what his name tag read. Well if you haven't, it read: KEVIN RICHARDSON. I wouldn't stop talking to pplz about how wonderful this Ninja Turtle was. Then my mother opened a mag in 'bout '95 (?) and she read that he was in a musical group called the backstreet boys. So, of corse I bought as many cd's as possible by them. I have not met Kevin since then, but I can promise you this: NONE of you have loved Kevin as long as I have!!! I wish I could meet him again and tell him what he has done to my life. Hey! I was just guna tell u guys bout my Backstreet meeting! It happened on Nov.9th last year in Virgin Megastore, and i'll just tell u sumthing - those guys are amazing, sweet and totally down-to-earth! Brian read my lil letter i gave him, Nick gave me a kiss and hug - he was fly! Kevin was a real gentleman so was Howie - so sweet! & AJ was funny and v.chatty!
