Ever met a Backstreet Boy?

His smile drop everytime he stepped out of the elevator and he made it a chore to sign about 15 autographs(he even refused to sign one girls), he initiated it by saying in a snotty tone, "I'm gonna sign." We met a mother and her daughter, we had asked her if she had met any of the guys, and she said she met nick 9 times, she also added he was such a sweetheart, we replied "The Nick Carter in the lobby?"....We were standing in the lobby with a girl we met down there who gave him a present, He took it ans didnt even say thanks or acknowlegde her, he just stood there laughing with some of the dancers(i dont think he was being rude). He came back all three evenings at around 5:00-6:00am drunk.I over heard his body gaurd ask the hotle manager to tell the fans to stop taking pictures of him, and the manager replied, "Why their not hurting him." I just want to say to people who havent met any of them yet, that just keep an eye open to the truth, and that is that they are normal people and they do have bad days, so just hope for the best and prepare for the wosrt. We had heard ahead of time where they stay in Toronto, so we went. We weren't sure when we got there if we had the right place, because there were only about 10 people standing around. So, we met a girl there and she had met them all like a zillion times, and she knew the in's and out's of where they go, when and why. She confirmed for us that we were at the right place, and I was relieved because I had took 2 days off work to go! Anyways, we went into the hotel and sure enough, Howie walked right by. He smiled and just looked for a few seconds. I just smiled back. I didn't say anything or start talking because he was on his cell, and I thought that would be rude. Then, we go back outside and Leighanne came outside to let the dogs pee. She stopped to talk to the some 20-30 fans outside at that time. She seemed very nice. The only thing I found weird was she kinda "showed off" her wedding ring. Then, my friend went up to the payphones on the 2nd floor, (why she didnt use my cell, I dont know) and the mens washroom is right by the phones. Sure enough, Nick comes walking out. I was waiting in the lobby for her, so I missed him. I like Nick and she likes Bri, so she was nice enough to get Nicks autograph signed to me, and not herself. She came back to the lobby and gave it to me, and I was in shock. Thats the only way to describe it... shock. That was one heck of a night. I missed out on Nick, but I will never forget it. I didn't get to meet or talk to any of them....unfortunately. But here were my close encounters. I had just gotten out of work, and picked up my sis and we headed out for the Backstreet Boys concert for San Antonio. We left at noon so we had time to stop at the mall, so I could buy me clothes cuz I left to san antonio with my work scrubs! Eek! Anyways, we decided to stop by the RIVERCENTER mall (since that's the only mall I know where it's at. When we arrived we saw buses outside of the hotel/mall. (The Marriot Riverside Hotel is connected to the mall). My sister started to freak out and was telling me to hurry. I was like no way they're probably in the hotel and they won't let us enter, besides we're not lucky enough to see them. SO we went inside the mall and saw a crowd of ppl, and we were asking around what happened. They told us Kevin was inside a camera shop! My sister freaked, and I was in shock. I just remember saying "No way this can't be happening, I'd never get this close to any of the Backstreet boys." There was security and they didn't let anyone near the store, so all we could do was stand outside yelling for Kevin. All I did was stand in shock. Kevin would occasionally turn and wave, and the girls would let out their screams. After he was done, the securities got ready to lead him outside to the bus. They lead him out one by one and at one point Kevin was no more than 5 feet away! He's actually smaller in person, I thought I was as tall as he was! But then again, I'm a tall chick. :-) Anywhoo, as soon as he was exited, me and my sister realized what had just happened and stood there crying. Some ppl looked at us as if we were crazy. We didn't care. THey are our favorite groups, and if you ask me why they mean so much to me, I probably wouldn't be able to explain myself fully, since they are feelings (which are expressed better e.g. crying, than talking about them). We cried there for a while, and we started talking to this lady. She said that they all had been in one by one, and we had just missed Nick (who is my fav) I was a little dissapointed, but hey I can't complain. I got to see Kevin! So we went shopping and stuff, and I was calling my other sister and telling her the story and she was happy for me! We went to the concert later. I almost got kicked out of the show! That's another long story, and if ya want to know it, email me and I'll let you know. Anyways, the show was awesome of course. I had another encounter with a BSB member. We had first row, seats 1 & 2 on the lower risers, which were about 15 feet away from the front floor sections, only sideways. So they were awesome seats, and there was nobody in front of us! Well, if you went to the concert you saw that Backstreet Boys had two railways, I guess that's what they are called, sticking out on the sides of the stage. Brian was usually on our side most of the time, and at one time, I started to blow him kisses (excuse me while i shed tears remembering all this). He noticed me (I'm freaking tall, so I can't imagine him not noticing.) He started to blow me some kisses back. And we continued back and forth until he just finally laughed, smiled, and then waved. I was just so estatic. Later in the show, AJ jumped off the stage and went along the rail. He came to our side and was about 5 feet away. By the time i realized, a swarm of ppl ran up to him and I just got a picture. I wish I could of touched him or something! :~p Anyways, the whole show was amazing. As Backstreet Boys are great performers and singers. There is no other group like them. Backstreet Boys have their individual singing capabilites, and when combined, it makes a strong, powerful, awesome, amazing, unbelievable (ok you get the point) tone of music, that we are not able to find in another group. These were my close encounters that day, and of course I will never forget them. If I never get to meet BSB, I can always remember that day. August 30, 2001. Last January was my first backstreet boys concert i was really excited because there was a possiblity that i might meet them cuz of some connections someone i knew had.. anyhow the day of the concert i would find out for sure but at the last min my seats got switched so they couldent find me 2 get me backstage as u can tell when i found out about this i cried for days :(. so imagine my surprise when i get in this package a B$B shirt Signed by nick cuz hes my fav lol i was like whoo hoo!! lol. in july i went to another bsb concert second one yay lol. anyway as we pulled up i saw the bsb bussess and i saw brians lil doggies i was going nuts no biggy 4 most of yous but to me it was a biggy . then i got to meet krystal shes so sweetttttttt and nice sheactually liked my blue dyed hair. shes like cool hair sweetie lol. i also met mook her manager his brother used 2 be in thr band but i forgot what he played. and i met one of his sons and during the concert brian waved 2 me ok no biggy as before but they are aLL I GOT SORRY!!!!!. My family and I were staying at a hotel in NY. We were visiting my Grandparents there. Anyways, I was coming down from my room, I went into the elavater and guess who I saw in there? I saw Nick,Brian and AJ in there! I thought I would die right there! Anyways, I said hello and shook they're hands. But before I knew it, the elavater trip was over. We were pulling up to our hotel, the Cincinnatian, and all these girls started coming around our car. We were like--haha...they think we're Kevin or Brian b/c we have a Univ. of Kentucky sticker and a Kentucky license plate. Then I was like "No--that's really kevin over there!" sure enough, he was walking from across the street to our hotel. We shook his hand and said "hi, Kevin." Later that day, we were about to get on an elevator, and it opens, and Nick Carter and 2 body guards get out. I shook his hand and said "have a great show tonight." he was like 'thanks." At the concert, Harold (Brian's brother) and his g/f sat 2 rows behind us. I asked him if he would mind taking a picture w/ me. He said yes. He was really sweet. Then, the next morning (after the concert), we walked onto their floor, but we thought they had all left. Then, Kevin comes out of his room and we get a pic w/ him and his autograph. I think i will start from the very first one. AJ encounter It was their one concert in new york where aaron was opening. This was the tour when they were promoting their self intitled album. Aaron was running all over the park and so were the boys. AJ was probably about six feet away from me and I looked right at him and him I. Just then my mom yelled, "Hey beth isn't that AJ?" Then all of the girls that were around me looked at me to see what my response was. I looked at him(knowing it was him) refused the girls all walked away and he seemed relieved. Aaron and Nick encounter. Walking to get on a coaster I spotted aaron walking into a building i scremed "Hi Aaron!!" He waved at me and my sister untill his body guards made him continue walking. Just two mins later I saw Nick right below me walk into the a different building. Am I dreaming?? That next morning I was lying in bed at the hotel that I was staying at and I knew I was wide awake when I thought I heard voices of people walking down the hall. Then I heard someone say "Wait up AJ", it was Nicks voice. However me being the stupid one that I was didn't get up and open the door in fear that they would see me in my PJ'S. Media Play A few years back, around the christmas season(this was the year that nicks fam was going back to ny for the holidays) i was shopping at media play when I saw a really tall guy with two big guys with him. He was holding a comic book in the front of his face and looking around caustiosly. I switped him and thought I sec bout it but was in a hurry to leave to again, I did nothing. To come to find I am almost 100 percent sure it was Nick. Nick at Aarons concert Just recentlly I saw nick with his hurt wrist at aarons concert only feet away from me. I was shocked bc he was there but didn't perfrom that night. Ok I think thats all I have. its wierd bc I always get so close but its just like I never quite get there. I still have faith that I will someday though:). I saw bsb in concert, and after the concert, I was returning to the car, which was parked on the other side of the Molson Center, so I walked a bit outside. Suddenly I see this crowd of people standing around screaming, so I go check it out. I see a tour bus coming out. I make my way to the very very front of the bus. And it's Kevin! First, he's shaking hands a bit with some fans next to his side window, but he gets stopped by a security guard. So he turns to the front of his bus (which is where I was; I was the very 1st person in front). He sees me. He looks me straight in the eyes, and I'm looking back at him in the eyes. And we have one of those INTENSE EYE GAZING MOMENTS (I don't know if you get what I mean, but I don't know how else to describe it because it cannot be described with words!). It was a mutual feeling. It was so incredible! He has such incredible intense green eyes. Anyway, after that short intense moment, he gives me this amazing huge smile and waves at me. He goes on waving to the rest of the crowd. As you can imagine, I was so hype about the whole thing. So I start to scream, well, lots of people were screaming, but I have a loud and very noticable voice. So, he realises it. He looks back at me and gives me a little smile. Those kind of smiles that mean you're flattered (it practically seemed as if he was about to blush) and he waves at me again. In the short time he was there, he must have looked me in the eye, smiled and waved at me at least 5 times!!!!! One thing is for sure, this moment is forever engraved in my mind! No way i'm every forgetting this! Submitted by diana from corona ca USA Date: Thu Sep 20 18:43:37 2001 I called the radio station 102.7 kiis fm in ca, and i and i won tickets to their concert on March 15,2001 at the staple center i got best seats in the house and i also won backstage passes and i took my step-sister with me and we were the only ones who got their autograph and we also got to talk to them for a while and took a pic if you want me to send any one of you the pic. i well i just need to find a scaner but write me and for subject put bsb pix and i will send it to you they are so sweet they are very friendly and made you feel very welcomed and they are so funny i love them so write me and i will try to get back to you.
