Damn, how old are all of you?? I honestly hope at least one of the guys comes in here and reads all this bickering back and forth. It's pathetic! And I know for a fact they feel the same way!! Supporting BSB in everything they do is good,

fighting and arguing about things that're completely out of your hands is not only a waste of time and energy but just a totally dumbass thing to do! Bye kiddies...

I was really dissappointed when they didn't break NSYNC's record but hey they broke the world record which means they're the best selling band in the WORLD! So what if USA is now NSYNC territory? Sooner or later NSYNC will become old like the Spice Girls or Hanson. I mean, they're such sell outs always putting their picture and name on everything, from C-Watches to Oreos. BSB has been around for a long time and even though they're not as popular as NSYNC in the USA they managed to dodge that expiration date marked on every pop band. And they make quality music instead of doing mostly bad dance songs to build up their hype. So have no fear BSB fans because Backstreet,s still back and they're better than ever.

PS- Love the CD! Their best work yet. Go out and buy a copy if you hadn't. Love the name too. It shows that they don't really care about taking eternity to find the right name, the care more about the music.

Will all you teenyboppers quit your damn arguing? Big damn woop-de-doo about is the USA and Canada are better than each other or not. And about the Nsync bashing on here? All the BSB fans who are doing this, you are all stooping down to the maturity level of pre-schoolers. In fact, they behave better than some of the people on here. Either you all grow-up and get lives or learn to accept each person here with respect and that's also inclding Nsync. They make their own music for their fans and BSB does their own music for their fans. Leave it at that.

Ever watch the hat's they wear, how about Chris who wore an N'Suck hat on the MTV show TRL , and how the MTV VJ Carson accidently called them N'Stink. Well I guess N'Sync is just as stupid as their fans. Justin thinks he's black, with his speech he's always talking like he's from the hood, more like under the hood of his Benz driving to Silicone Valley to visit Ms.Spears. J.C and Justin the only singers of the group, and Lance, Joey, and Chris are they the backup singers? I've probably heard Chris sing before on the song "I Drive Myself Crazy" but those three have they done anything else besides look ugly in magizines, videos,t.v,and sing really bad backup? Now this is rare that I'm on the internet, but what the hell? I don't go to N'Sync sites and say how bad they are, people who come in here and start writing their comments on how bad BSB is and how good(laughing)N'Sync is, probably have nothing better to do with their time, and life. Or maybe they're so illiterate that they can't read the url www.backstreet.net. Probably N'Sync has something to do with the population of illiteracy in the youth of America and the corpulency of their fans. Got To Go Now!!!

when i first heard the title "black & blue", i was really interested in how they got it.

when i heard brian thought of it by just standing next to a blue background while wearing black, i was like "that was a simple way of thinking of a title."

but then i honestly started thinking of all the meaning it could have.

first of all i thought, "do they know that's the name of a rolling stones album?

and then i thought "maybe its a reference to the contrast of songs on the album ( like ballads, mid-tempo songs, fast dance tracks ).

but what i think the album title means is how strong that they are.

when you think of black & blue, you probably see someone getting beat up.

so i think the meaning of the album is a reference to the criticism they often get for doing what they love and getting appreciation from their fans.

they've gotten told all sorts of things like "they generic boy band crap" or "manufactured males singers"

they've had their music called everything from "bulls**t" to "vapid mush".

but more than anything they've been told their wouldnt last just best their market was made for immature 7-15 year old gilrs who wouldnt care about them if they didnt look good.

the one remark that stands out in my mind is "pop is made by plastic people and is listened to by plastic people ( too bad me head isnt popping off! )

well, i'd just like to say "HA HA" to all the cynical jackasses who call themselves critics.

the fans are who the boys want to keep happy, not people who wouldnt give them credit for good work if they threw right in your faces!

so "black & blue" to me is a subtle "kiss our a**es" from the boys if you ask me.

it means "you've bruised us bad, but we're just not going to leave"

KTBSPA.

at first i was like "black and blue? what the heck?" but then when i heard the cd, i was like "ooh i get it" cuz i think black was the color that represented all their upbeat songs and blue was for all the balads.. i think thats really cool and creative.

I think the title Black and Blue is great! But I think when they are asked how they thought of the name, they need to say what it REALLY means. In Rolling Stone, they said they called it Black and Blue for the way Lou Perlman treated them. He said that he loved the boys and they were his #1 group or something like that. Than, BEHIND THEIR BACKS Lou went and created N'STINK!!! Kevin says he doesn't really care that N'STINK is around, he just hates that Lou betrayed them. Lou sux!

There are lots of names out there, but Black and Blue is

special. It has special meaning for the group. Obviously,

'N STINK fans can't see that. The group's been through a lot and that's why they call this "their most personal album". I think the title will stay for a long time.

I think the title of the new album is simply brilliant. I've heared many ideas from fans, had many ideas myself, but I liked none of them this much. For me it means a kind of serious mood, which reminds me that the boys have grown the best group in the whole wide world. A guy in a German interview asked them why Black & Blue, and Brian (I think it was him) was like 'We couldn't name it Red & Pink.. Then Howie said that were his fav colors.. lol

What also makes me happy about the title, that I have a better chance to show that I'm a fan. Here in Hungary it's hard to get any BSB stuff except for the CDs (thank God I can get those!), but stuff in black & blue color you can get anywhere.. And there's my comp..

What I think about the new Backstreet Boys album name: Black & Blue is that I think its hilarious how they came up with the name! I still laugh about it! hehe. When I heard Brian talkin bout it and imitating himself i still laugh! They are so awesome!!! I think the name is weird but hey I dont care i still love them forever!! KTBSPA!!!

I think that the title "Black and Blue" reminds me of a bruise and a broken heart. Becuase when you have a broken heart, you turn blue (not physically). You know what I mean. Plus, when you get a bruise it is black and blue!!

When I 1st heard it was called "Black and Blue" I was like what teh hell??? I didn't know what was going on in their minds lol. I was thinking of several reasons why they could be calling it that. One main one that stuck in my head was maybe it was because they've gone through a lot of things and it's like...ummm i don't knwo how to say it..do u kno what i'm sayin though? Then I heard them say it was because they were all wearing black and were on a blue background for a photo shoot. And I was like DUR!!! lol I actually thought I wasn't going to like the cd for a certain period of time. I'm glad I got out of that because this cd is just the best!!

When I first heard it was going to be called "Black and Blue" i thought they were talking about how they're going to kick NSync's sorry little butts! Their record sales are so going to beat theirs! The CD is too good for words, and I'll leave it at that.
