Black & Blue: What do you think about the new album title?

B&B is an awesome album and I haven't seen one NSYNC album come close to that status(I'm sure all you NSYNC lover don't know the meaning of that word). Writing BSB SUCKs hundreds of times on a page doesn't prove anything, its very inappropriate and something you should keep to yourself. It just means that they are better than you or someone else(that you like) and you don't want to admit it. Saying that this album isn't good here, there, etc. just tells us that you don't like it but it still doesn't prove anything. NEGATIVE comments are nothing but a piece of sh*t and POSITIVE comments are the perfect thing. Only the positive comments prove something, it is the thing to congratulate someone(s) on their hard work. (don't mind my awful spelling) It makes me think that another band, let's just take 'N Sync for example, just kicked their asses! While there aren't any powerful ballads like IWITW or SMTMOBL(which are the only good songs in Millenium besides LTL and The One), "I Promise You"(which grew on me), "Time"(grew on me), Howie's Song(equal to IWITW) and "More Than That" are passable ballads. On the upbeat side, though, B&B totally kick Millenium's ASS! I absolutely love all the upbeat songs on B&B (except Shing Star which has its moments). So, in coclusion, if I had to choose between Millenium and B&B I would choose... well, you know where I'm going with this. It starts out in the girls apartment...then A.J is talking to her over the phone at some club...after he hangs up the phone there is some girl in the crowd and she whispers " I Gotta Little Place Nearby" in his ear...then they're both in the car making out...then all of the sudden she runs out..A.J get's out and runs after her then he finds out everyone is gone...scared he starts to run even faster...jumps over a car...then turns into Brian...Brian starts running and faces the Backstreet Boys singing in the street...looks up and rocks start to fall on him...then enters a supermarket running after that girl...through the door...then turns into Nick...Nick is driving to the hotel...the hotel is deserted so Nick get's scared runs to Howies room...Howie greets Nick...Nick washes his face with water...as they get out of the room...Everything is back to normal...Nick is driving...Howie looks at Nick in an unusual way...Nick look at the rear-view mirror...instead of seeing Howie he see's a girl...So Howie/Girl jumps out of the car and Howie takes of his mask and reveals it was the girl instead of Howie the whole time...Nick tries to get control of the car...but crashes into a wall...Then Kevin steps out of the car chases the girl up the stairs...Jumps through a window into a room where the words "Liar" and "Cheater" are written in Graphitti...Then the girl stops...and the camera turns to Kevin who is facing the other girl from the beginning(the one who A.J was talking/lying on the phone with)then the camera turns around again and shows all of the Backstreet Boys and all the people who deserted the places they were in( THE END) Wow that was an intense video. Anyway, I think the titile has a nice concept. I know that they were in the confrence with the Blue walls and the black outfits, but we need to read between the lines a little bit. Black and blue, the clolors of a bruise. I think that was how the boys felt after they found about the sales of the NSA album. All bruised up. I don't blame them, either. If I were in the Backstreet Boys, I would be hurt if some copycats of my group beat my album sales from just playing my music (sorry for fans, but that's what they do). As for the cover art, that represents the boys in a strong way as well. Very basic, can't barely see them, just the silohetts (sorry, i can't spell!) of them. Maybe that's how they feel, there presents is SLOWLL disappearing. Let's hope not! The album also has a little bit of a plot (the first three songs!) The call describes what someone has done to cheat on his girl, then the person is begging his girlfriend for her forgiveness for cheating on her in "Shape of my heart". The girl didn't accept the apology, and in "get another boyfriend" he get's jealous! k that's what i think remember think, don't *NSTYNC and KTBSPA! Deep down you obviously feel some sort of love for them or you wouldn't be here. Being a huge BSB fan, I have never been to an nsync site, personally I try to avoid them. Second of all, did you ever stop to think that maybe the name of the album has some sort of meaning to them and only they understand it? I know Brian has said they named it that because they were at a photo shoot standing on blue and wearing black, but it could mean more than that. When I think of black and blue, I think of bruises and fighting. Maybe it symbolizes the struggle they went through changing management companies and still trying to please their fans. Maybe it symbolizes their struggle to gain the success they have now. So maybe you shouldn't be so quick to judge. I'm not sure who wrote this, but someone posted that they should have taken more time to think of a more clever album title. Well, maybe you're the ones who should take time to think about it. Submitted by Stacy from usa Date: Sat Jan 6 22:07:15 2001 Ok, here's what I think: The name: It's an ok name, but honestly, I'm such a big Backstreet fan that if they called the album "This is sh!t, don't buy it" I would still love the title, so I'm probably not the one to ask. I also think the cover is really creative, I don't think *NSTYNC would do that on their cover (well, u never know, since BSB did it, they probably will too!). All of the songs are really WICKED good songs. The one I really didn't like was #5: I Promise You (with everything I am) because it seemed like a certain *NSTYNC song but then I found out that it was written way before NSA came out, so now I like it! The BSB-*NSYNC thing: A lot of people say we need to respect *NSTYNC and stuff, but I really can't. Every time I think of them, it makes me ill (haha). The whole recipt thing, i do know that it was Jive's idea, not *NSTYNC's, but STILL, they could have done something about it. Honestly, if Backstreet was in their place, they'd never do something like that! When *NSYNC was first getting started (early '98) when I first saw them, I thought they were trying to insult the Backstreet Boys, which kinda pissed me off a bit, but when I saw they were in the same zone, I began to have a little more respect for them, UNTIL the "no strings attached" album. I do agree that it's really about quality, not quantity and that the boys don't really care too much about sales, but what I don't really like is that they are copying the Backstreet Boys (i have to say they are getting better, but still copying them, the 1st cd every single song is copying them in some way!) and then making more money than them. But if that's what happens, then that's what happens. What REALLY pisses me off way 2 much is the fact that they sold the 2.4 million (well, we all know the truth 1.2 million, but making the money of 2.4 million) albums, and then using ALL the billions and billions of dollars they made to sue some fan who said "JC is so much cuter than Justin!" to Justin's face. I honestly hope Justin will get sent to jail. Then I can watch the whole Super Bowl XXXV in peace (lol)! I agree the girl did kinda do a b!tchy thing, but honestly, Justin deserved it. He is in no way hot! I'm sorry for anyone who disagrees with me, but I really don't see any hottness in him. Seriously, if you think someone like that is hot, you need to come to my school, every single guy in there is 1 billion times hotter than him. As far as friendship between the groups, I really don't think it exsists.
