Black & Blue: What do you think about the new album title?

They thought of it when they were doing a photo shoot where they were wearing black clothing on blue background. But it means so much more than that. Even though they have had a lot of success they've still had to pay their dues. Everything that they've been through--from dealing with what critiques have had to say about them to switching management to getting heard way back when pop was not in--all of that is what the title is about. They have been through a hell of a lot in the past 7 years and they are still here. Black & blue and bruised and beat up maybe, but they are still here and going stronger than ever. I love the title Black & Blue because that's what the Backstreet Boys are, black and blue. And that's one of the reasons why I love them so much. They can still stand back up and come back strong even after all they've been through. That's what makes them a great group who won't be forgotten. THANK GOD THE ALBUM WASN'T NAMED JIVE. (Remember when it was rumored that it would be?) Jive is too freaking controlling and personally I think the title Black & Blue is about them too. Well, good for the Backstreet Boys they aren't having their pictures on the cover even thought JIVE wanted it. YOU GO BOYS!!!! It's about time! I know I'm shooting off my mouth but--well, woops. It's not brilliant, but neither was Millennium. It's something that they came up with spur of the moment and I think it kinda fits them. I don't understand why y'all are jumping all over each other. I've always thought that BSB fans were some of the nicest people out there. Why is everyone being so mean to each other. We should be getting along. It's just an album title after all. Put your differences aside and remember that we all have one thing in common, out love for the Boys music. Oh! And just to let you know, I say y'all because I grew up with it. I'm from Texas after all. Some people just grow up with that word in their language. It's only natural for them to say (or in this case type) it. And one more thing, that thing about 8am classes in college, it's totally true. Getting up that early should be outlawed!! Too bad we can't find the genius that made 8:00 classes. I think it's a pretty cool name, although I'm not quite sure where it came from... I've seen the track list and I do believe that the new album will do as well if not better than Millennium... Our Backstreet brothers have worked all hard to try and make a great album and I know that they have!!! I just want to say, this whole comment section is about the Backstreet Boys, so why are people constantly adding N'sync into all of this? They have their own group and they do their own thing... we are Backstreet fans, so that doens't mean that we have to say crap about N'sync all the time... I also like the new image that the guys are trying to promote for themselves. I think it is good that they try to differentiate themselves from the "boy band" stereotype. N'Sync may think that they have taken over the best 'boyband' title, but for one, we don't care 'cos the BSB's are a vocal harmony group WITH talent and we don't need a title to sell millions of albums.
