Hey AJ
I just want you to know that is took alot of guts to come out and say you had a problem and that you needed to get help. Some people do not have the courage to say that, I know I did not have the courage to say to my family and friends that I was hooked on diet and sleeping pills. The reason I did not have the guts was because I thought they would all hate me and that is what I could not deal with. But I finally worked up the guts to say to them that I was hooked. When I was on these pills I was not eating or drinking anything. I began to get weak and dizzy all of the time. I had points to were I would black out and fall down. That was about one year ago. I have stopped taking both sleeping and diet pills. And the whole stupid reason I satrted taking the pills was because someone called me fat and that was just too much for me to bear. And I will say that there are still times I would love to pop just one more pill in my mouth but I dont. Because I know that I have people standing beside me ready and willing to help me when the temptation becomes to much. I know you are a storng man AJ and you can get through this I just know you can. There are people who are standing beside you the fans, your mom, the guys your whole family. And of course your grandmother is right by your side too. Well I have to be going. Thank you. That's all i have to say, that's all that needs to be said. It's not easy to say or to hear, but keep your chin up man, we all support you we all know that with a little time and privacy you can do it.I'd like to say to the fans, thank you for the support which has continued from day one, not just from the Backstreet Boys Career, but from the day the media publicised that Bone was in Rehab. It does mean a lot, thank you. I would also like to stress that once AJ is out, it is very important that his privacy and time with friends and family is respected. Shannon & "G", thanxz! Hey,
Thought that i would officially say how brave you were for admitting your problem and that i know you have the strength to overcome your weaknesses, I have found a lot of ppl who have left messages on here have been slightly immature in the way they are confessing their love for you and speaking as if you are the best of friends, a lot of these ppl have not met you and have not seen the real you, the real playa me 'n' Gwen saw at Nicky.c's A.K.A "Pimp daddy 2" b/day gig. It's a shame that they can't get the opportunity to be around Alexander Mclean, instead of AJ from the Backstreet Boys.There again i have only met you 3/4 times, but each one of those times u have suprised us, remember *10th of June* :) But the fans, i mean the real fans have been a god send giving you so much support i have spoken to a few outside work, and ohhh i just wanted to hug them!! They have been stars, i think they know now how much their support, prayers and faith are appreciated. So to the fans from me, ~THANK YOU~ It takes time Alex but you're going to be out very soon and you will come out with a different outlook on life, hey i went through anger managment a coupla years ago and look at me now, i have calmed down slightly!!
