hey a.j, this is the second time im signing this thinga magiga... and there's one thing i'd like to share with you if you read all of this. A friend of mine went through worse then you are going through right now, things happen to us that we don't understand and we get torn. But my friend got through it, yeah, it took her a long time, but she made it -- and i know you will. Maybe these 30 days won't do much, but if you keep at it, (and even if you take up more tour dates) what's important is that you get better -- get well and make everyone proud. =)
there's only ONE more thing you gotta do when you're back on tour -- add hawaii to your tour dates, wuddja?

Dearest AJ, I'm a big BSB fan. I'm not going to say I'm the biggest fan because I know there are bigger fans out there. Anyway, the whole point of this letter is to tell you how happy, no PROUD, I am for you coming out and admitting you have or soon to be had a problem. It's great to see a strong, brave, hot, rebel come out of the shell, we'll call your body, and see himself falling apart. And I wish all guys were like that. You, of all people, need to know how much each fan is proud of you. I've had all my friends who like various "boy bands" like *NSYNC, O-Town, 98 degrees, and LFO come to me and say "I'm sad that AJ went into rehab. Yet I'm so happy a guy like him would do something so brave." And I very much so agree with them. I'm obsessed with BSB, mostly you, and I didn't even want to believe my Bestest Friend in the world when she told me about you. I told her until I heard BSB and you yourself say it, I refused to believe it. But when I went into The Official BSB Chat I was crushed. I went right to the MTV site and started researching. And I broke out into tears with every word I read. Not only because I was sad but that I was touched. You opened doors I didn't even know were there. It showed me that all guys, even rebels, have a side no one has ever seen. A good side that is full of compassion and bravery. I cry myself to sleep every night thinking about it. In closing, I want to thank you for not just showing me what you are really like but that BSB are in every way great guys. Oh Wait! Not guys MEN! I Love You in every sense of the word. You are "The Answer To Our Life." And "Yes I Will" love you forever until the day the world dies.

I had seen you in concert only about 10 days before, the show was the best concert ever. I think that it takes a lot of guts to admitt that you have a problem. I support and love you beyond this world. I support the rest of the boys also. I couldnt imagine TRL or a summer with out The Backstreet Boys. You and the guys are angels. I don't know why I keep signing this, but I just wanted to say something.As August 13 approaches near, I am torn between two things. I, as a loyal fan, want to see you back better than ever. Doing what you love. Doing what you do best. But, as a person that suffers from depression, I know that you HAVE to need more time, so a little part of me knows that you may not rejoin the tour. But please know that, that is OKAY! Take all the time in the world, AJ. We love you and if it takes more days, months, or even years... we'll be here when you feel that your healed again.

Dear Aj, i am so proud for makeing the hard desicion to go and get help. it takes a lot to admit you have a problum and thats the first step to recovery. i know how hard it is to admit that something is wrong and that there is a problum.
