I am so proud of you for steping foward and admitting that you had a problem and wanted help. That is not an easy thing to do, but you did, and now you will be stronger once you get treated. Although my father and I were very close when I was young, we have grown apart as I grow older. I respect you a great deal for admitting you have a problem and checking yourself into rehab. My father's drinking has always been very hard for me to except. After watching TRL today I realized that if you can get help even though people will talk then there is no reason my dad couldn't get help either. Although I realize this is a very hard time in your life you gave me the courage today to ask my dad to get the help he needs. And for that I am forever thankful!!!
