Forwarded from http://groups.yahoo.com/yahoo/Supporting_AJHi, I dont know if you'll ever get this or not. I've followed you since the beginning, all of you. My prayers and full support go out to you AJ as well as to the BSB. I know what it is like to have a serious depression. Though each is different depending on each person I want to let you know my prayers and thoughts for your well-being is here. You seriously are one of the greatest inspirations. This problem that you have been so brave enough to admit is a big step. I hope you realize that... It is hard for people to admit things like this and to seek out help like you are doing. I respect you even more through this sad happening. Hopefully it will make all of us come out better in the long run. We all go through major bouts and all have 'addictive' personas. I have admitted to this on more than one occation. I would go into deeper detail except that I dont want to bore you with my own problems. It is human nature to be the way we are. The saying is true even though it might not feel that way now, "it is better to love and lose, then to never have loved at all.' and you are greatly admired, loved, and have such a bright future for yourself and your group, weather it be together or not you our 'all' lucky to have the support of each other. Whenever you feel alone know that there is love for you out there. Dont give up and stay strong, life goes on. "this world may bring you down, but living each day is an accomplishment on its own... to wake up each morning and to look back and to look forward, know god has placed you in this great place for a reason..." Sometimes it is hard to take this advise, excuse the spelling errors im still barely even 17. Take each weak moment, each moment of weakness and turn it for your benefit, make yourself stronger. You have losed, we have all losed. I have lost, had my heart broken, lived life, and tried to end it... i thank god each day that I was 'not' strong enough to do harm. You know there is a saying, people that hurt the most is because they are the most intellegent, you truly are intellegent. I am babbling, sorry... it's hard to let someone know that you care when they dont know you. We live seperate lifes, but we are both human, as is everyone else. When I sat down and watched MTV and looked upon your fellow bandmates faces I saw grief, concern, sadness... they care for you deeply. It is hard to sometimes think others care. Constantly wondering why or if there is a hidden agenda, it is flattering to know that people care I would think... but at the same time you may say to yourself do they really know you.... well look at your friends, the ones closest to you and know that 'they' do care if you cannot see any one else. Loves are lost, life is lost... we live with 'ourselves' please stay safe and god bless. Any time you want to talk, (LOL) as if. I hope this wasn't useless or stupid babbling. I want to let you know that I created this group right after seeing what had happened. Feel free to read upon all the messages... this is 'all' for you AJ. Always and Forever your 'Friend' from afar, -Diana C- - You have touched many people, i can say your in our prayers. (PS excuse the grammar)

I just want you to know that my prayers are with you, your family and the rest of the guys always. I admire you so much for admitting your problem and getting help. You are and will always be my hero. My uncle had the same problem and he thought he could handle it and never got help. I love you, I wish you the best, and I hope you get well.

AJ, you need to know that you can and will make it through this. Asking for help is the biggest step in the process. Just know that you will be in millions of prayers every night and that your grandmother is your guardian angel. You have your BSB brothers, your Mom, and millions of fans that love you and will support you. Take the time that you need to heal yourself and then return to that stage where you belong, inspiring others and displaying your amazing talent. God bless!

First of all, I have to admit that I'm not a BSB fan, but I was very upset to hear about AJ. Depression and alcohol abuse are very serious issues. I never suffered from alcohol abuse, but I have suffered from depression for four years. I'm very glad that he's getting the help he needs. I don't want him, or anyone else, hurt. AJ, AJ's family and friends are in my prayers. Give him my love! :)

Dear A.J. I admire your strength. It must have been one of the hardest decisions you have ever made. First to admit that you have a problem and second to seek help. Your desicion to seek help makes you more human-you have earned my respect. I have seen you in concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver-on Halloween,1999, and on Brian's B'day,2000. All of you with your definite personalities and distinctive voices have created a true fan! A.J. you add an almost supernatural energy and intensity to the BSB phenomenon. Your true fans will recognise this phase of your creative nature as a stepping stone to even greater personal heights-not as a block. A.J. I applaud your courage-my thoughts and prayers are with you and with all who love you and know you, to conquer this difficulty with flying colors. YOU CAN DO IT! Thank you for being an uplifting part of my life. Your music has been a joy to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you. With LOVE-a loyal fan. Kitty Jayne Riley {born 1950}

Dear AJ and the rest of the boys, AJ im so glad that you came forward with your illness, alcohol abuse is an illness that can be stopped. It was very brave of you and the boys to release this story to the media. I hope you realize that people will be able to benefit from your struggle. You're setting an example of what needs to be done in a situation where substance abuse is involved. Im really glad that you decided to address this issue before it was too late. The first step in getting better is to realize that you have a problem in the first place. I know I speak for every BSB fan when I say that I'm very proud of you. It takes a lot of courage to admit to a fault, and you're doing that right now. It also takes a lot of courage for the rest of the boys to stand with you and struggle with you, they're there to fight the battle along side you. I hope you realize that your making a strong impact on many young adults. You have convinced me and some of my friends to never drink. Thank you for helping me in that decision. Our prayers are with you, and with tears in my eyes I want to tell you how much I care for your safety and I wish you a quick recovery.

To AJ: All us fans are standing behind you 100%. My Dad admitted his alcholism last year, on my birthday, and he checked himself into rehab. He was in a de-toxification center for 1 week, then a rehabilitation center for therapy for 5 weeks. During that time I was so unbelievably proud of my Dad and I continue to be proud of him today. He has since been sober for one year and counting. I know you can do it AJ, just like my Dad did. Love you always! ~Carly.

AJ, I hope when you read this, you are on the road to recovery. I know it's hard ... my mom used to have problems with abusing alcohol, and it was hard on me and the rest of my family. When we watched TRL today, and saw the rest of the guys ... it really hit us how much they love you and want you to get better. Seeing Nick cry broke my heart, and I just broke down and bawled like a baby. Your problem really hit home, and my mom just wants you to know how proud she is of you, because you admitted that you need help. We love you so much AJ ... me and my mom, and the rest of the fans out there, and we want you to get better as soon as you can.

I just heard about AJ, and the news hit me hard. I am very proud of Aj for getting the help he needs and the other Boys for telling us about it. They easily could have hidden it, and they decided not too. THat is proof that they believe that they have mature fans. We all support AJ and the Boys 110% and hope that he's back doing his thing when he's ready.
