you and your bandmates have brought so much joy to so many people across the world that many of us probably didnt see this coming. i for one didnt, however, nothing means more to me than your health and happiness. know that all your fans are here to support you through this difficult time in your life. take all the time YOU need. we'll be here waiting with open arms to welcome you back when and if you decide its best for you to return. love you and praying for your full recovery.

Oh AJ please get better soon! Take all the time you need & concentrate on getting better. Don't worry about anything but that. Sure the tour is important but you are 5,000,000 times more important! You have billions of fans to get you through this problem I know it is very serious and it will take time but I think the fans will understand if they are ture fans and wont be to upset because your health is more important. AJ,
When I heard about your situation, I was truly amazed at your courage. It must take a lot of guts to do what you're doing. I know it's hard to stay strong, but you have to do it Bone. We love you, more than you probably know, and want you to pull through. I'm sure it's hard to keep your head up, but it's important to do... with a smile on your face. I know from expeirience that depression is a horrible thing, and I wish you the best of luck. I know you can get through it. Just keep in mind that we're here for you, with full support. If you guys never tour or put out an album ever again, I'll be happy just knowing you're okay. Please be okay bud.

AJ, you are so cool! i just want you to know that your fans are behind you 100%+ more! you did something very courageous and i want you to know that you will be in my prayers everynight. both bsb concerts that i ever went to were the most memorable nights of my life! it started in feb.(2001) when bsb first came to pittsburgh. i had front row for that concert! it was so much fun i can still remember those cute faces you would flash my way!...then in june (2001) you guys came back to pitts! i was so excited! even though my seats werent that great! it still rocked cause i met you AGAIN! lol whats up w/that!? i never have such good luck. but i had to go to the bathroom and i peeked over the fence at pgp pavillion into the V.I.P area and there u were w/your bodyguard and u took a picture w/me and my best friend which made my whole life! you were so cool! and so laidback and down to earth! i knew right then that i was a fan not just of your music but of your personality! well i better get going..R.I.P Grandma God bless AJ and get well soon we already miss you! best of wishes, Maggie

AJ-When I first heard about you going into rehab, I cried and cried. All I could think of was how one of the Backstreet Boys was sick. Then I realized that it was AJ MCLEAN that was sick, not just a Backstreet Boy, but a human being. I give you all the credit and respect in the world for making the decision that you did. It was so incredibly brave of you to step forward and admit you have a problem. I love you so much and respect you now more than ever. I will pray for you, your family and friends every night. I know GOD will watch over you and you will pull through this. You have touched so many lives and I know (cuz i am one of them) that your fans will stand by you no matter what because we love you. Right now you are the most important thing to worry about. Please don't be thinking about hurrying back to your fans. Get better. WE'll be here when you and the guys are plenty ready. GOD bless!

Dear AJ,I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I don't care about the tour anymore. As long as you are healthy I don't care if I never am able to see you in concert again. All five of you have been like my second family and it broke my heart to hear what you are going through. I am in shock right now, I don't really know what to say. I will say that no matter what, we are all here to SUPPORT you and no matter what happens in the future, we will always love you. I am PROUD to be a Backstreet fan and I'm sure everyone else feels the same way. I am proud of you, AJ, for having the courage to get help. I will never take for granted again what it means to be a Backstreet fan. My love goes out to you.
