Dear AJ,
I hope that as you are reading this you are on the road to recovery. I have been a Backstreet fans for 5 years and I thought I admired you a lot before, but now I respect you more than anyone I know. It was a huge step to admit you have a problem and a bigger one to ask for help. I am so proud of you and all the Boys. As I watch TRL today I noticed how much the other members care for you and it is so great to know that you have them to lean on. When I saw the four of them teary eyed, I couldn't help but cry too. They really care about you a lot..so don't be afraid to use them for help. I have a family member that just will not admit she has a problem with alcohol and one day I am hoping that she will...like you did. Thank you so much for reminding me why I chose never to start drinking. My love and prayers are with you now and forever. Get well soon so you can return to the stage better than ever! I love you and respect you so much. Thank you for being such a great role model for me...God Bless you, Nick, Kevin, Brian, and Howie.
love always,
Amanda
P.S. all of us fans are with you.... "stand millions strong".....Everyone

AJ,
As you know, all of the fans are deeply concerned with your well-being, myself especially. I was completely devastated to hear such news. What I've found to be the only true help is just keeping your faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and knowing that he will take care of you at all times. With his help and all of our prayers, you WILL get back to your old self.
May God bless and keep you in his care. Love you always

See you soon,
Nichelle Kolen

AJ,
When I heard about what happened with you going to rehab for alcohol and depression I was upset but you are a strong man for going and getting help for this problem. I know you can do this and I know Nick, Brian, Kevin, and Howie will help you get through this cause they love you and so do I. My father went through the same thing but he's been sober now for 9 years so I know you can do it. Well I just want you to know I will love you and the backstreet Boys no matter what and I will always be a huge fan of the Backstreet Boys I know you can do it! good luck!!
Luv, Courtney

There are alot of ppl out there praying for you....your fans, your friends, and your family. So hold on and we know that you can get through this. I know that the rest of your fans are with me in saying We hope you get well, and that you'll be ok. It takes an awful lot of strength to admit something like that, and especially when you are in the public eye...I am proud of you!

Dear Alex,
Hello. I heard about your current situation with alcoholism, depression, and anxiety. This is not good. It is not good for your well-being. I, personally do not want to see you like this! :'( Please continue to get yourself help, and do not let past experiences get to you. Look at it this way, your grandma's passing is like a blessing in a way. In what way, that's for you to figure out. Take the time to "celebrate" and learn from that experience and try to look at things on a more positive light. Your grandmother taught you things you probably never would have learned if she was not there. Appreciate and accept that. That's all I could say. :-( Please get better, and God bless.

A fellow fan,
Camille

AJ-
Gee where do we begin? We cannot say that we know what you are going through...because we don't. We are happy that you had the strength to stare this problem in the face and find the right way to fix it.
It must be hard for you as well as all the guys to do what you do. We (the fans) only see the glory of it all and don't realize how hard it must be behind the scene's.
As if you have not heard this before we want you to know that we are 2 of the millions and millions and can I add millions of fans that love you and are praying for you.
We were a little saddened that we will not get to see you guys on Monday night, but by being saddened over that would make us selfish when you are dealing with something way more serious.
We care about you so much that we will wait as long is it takes for you to get better.
As much as we hope that our prayers will help, you also need to find the strength and belief in yourself to get through this.
With the support of your brothers (Nick, Brian, Kevin, and Howie),your family and your worldwide population of fans we KNOW with all our heart that you will make it through this.
We are praying for you and are saving up all our lung power and energy to give you a HELL of a welcoming when your smilin, dancin, happy, gorgeous self makes it to New York!!!

"WE LOVE YOU and the boys ALWAYS & FOREVER!!!"

Josephine & Rosalba

P.S. Don't think of this as a setback, but as a blessing...it will only make you stronger for what may come ahead.

First i would like to thank you for all that you have done for your fan's out there. Your beutiful voice has enspired so many people out there, and your songs have helped me through some tough times. Admiting that you have a problum to yourself, and others makes you that much greater a man. Don't worry about Backstreet you have some amazing people waiting to help you back on your feet when you get out. Just worry about yourself for right now. That's all you can do. This is kinda hard to write especially when you don't know the person personally. But here it goes........ Aj I am happy that you admitted you have a problem and are taking care of it. I can't imagine how you dealt with depression and anxiety. I too am dealing with it and I have been on a bunch of different medications but none of them agree with me. The 1st of this year I had to deal alot with things. I had to deal with my dad having back surgery. And then mid January I had to have my gallbladder removed. And it was the Black & Blue cd that got me through. I had to deal with depression for a few days afterword because it hurt to crawl in and outta bed. Then I got better and had to recatch up on school and having to deal with people saying a had skipped a whole week of school (Which would be pretty cool). But ANYWAYS...... Everybody goes through something but in the end it makes us strong. I know this ordeal will make you stronger then you were before. Hang in there and get better. We're(BSB Fans) all rooting for you and The rest of the fellas!

God Bless & Love You Much,

Kira
