Alex: When I read this on an e-mail "BSB charity club" it hurt. I tried not to cry, but I couldn't hold it in. I am proud of u that u went out and reached out to someone. You need to give these 30 days to help yourself out. Being happy is hard. I am only 14,but I have seen my friends go through losing someone close to them. One friend took it really hard and almost took her life. I told her "would your grandfather want you to end your life like this? Take some pride in yourself. He is w/ u not matter what." You need to understand that your grandmother is looking over u and needs u to stay happy and strong. You can do it!!! We are all here for u. I understand even if i am only 14. But, try. Take good care in yourself. God is looking at u right now. He loves u and needs u to pull through. See u soon. I am looking forward to u getting well. My prayers are w/ u and your family and friends. I am so proud of AJ,not for drinking, but coming forward and realizing that he had a problem. I know that he can over come this because he has overcome so much more. I think that it is great that the Kevin, Brian, Nick, and Howie are supporting him all the way. Everyone has their highs and lows, and AJ has had 8 years of highs as being a Backstreet Boy and this is just a low. He is still "You’re my shining star, That is what you are, There is no one like you baby, Angels everywhere, Everytime you’re near, You will always be my baby" I love you AJ!!!!

My prayers go out to you. I've loved you for over 4 yrs now and I will never ever stop loving you. I hope you get better soon. Please remember you are in my heart and in my prayers. When I heard on TRL what you are going through, it just broke my heart. I couldn't stop crying especially when I saw the footage of you singing that song, I really broke down into tears. You'll always be in my heart and I will always love you no matter what! Get Well Soon and take it day by day. I'll pray for you every night for you to make a good recovery. Be brave and stay strong. I hope you get better soon, and I know what it's like to deal with depression. Depression is a serious matter even though people think it's not that serious. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Get better soon! WE LOVE YOU, AJ!!!!!

AJ, Hey, it's Liz. I just wanted to tell you that I know how you feel, I have been suffering from depression since I was a little girl. I only wish that I was as strong as you were as to come out with it. You can get through this, and if you feel that you can't, then always remember that there is always someone else fighting a harder battle. This is not your fault, and there was nothing you could do to hender this, just like you can't stop yourself from being happy. It's only the whirlwind we dare to call life, but it can only be life if you choose to live it. I wish you could understand how amazing you are! One day I hope to sing with the magical, talented, HAPPY person I know you can be. I wish for you the best of luck and love in your life, God only knows you deserve it! We all know you can pass this! It's just a minor set back and doesn't affect us fans in any way (excpet sadness and worrying). We all love you the same way we always did. Some of us, even more. Hey AJ,
I doubt you'll have time to read all these but if you read over mine I just want you to know that even though you don't know me and we've never met before, I was ready to cry when I heard what your going through. I can't say I understand what your going through but I can say it'll all be good in the end. I'm so happy that you've recognized your problem and are seeking help for yourself. I've been a fan ever since the begining and I will all the way to the end. Don't worry about losing a fan cause while I may only be one person, one fan, I care and I wish you and the group the best of luck. The Lord above has a plan for all of us and I guaruntee things will be perfect in the end. Stay true to yourself, to your boys, they love you just as much as your devoted fans. Dear A.j.,
You mean so much to so many people and every single one of us is proud of you. We all know it's not easy doing what you guys do, going on the road for so long away from your loved ones and sometimes people can be so harsh. I just wanted you to know that all us fans are behind you and we always will be because you will always be in our hearts. Your courage and strength has shined to many people and you have helped many of us get through our hard times maybe without you even knowing it. I know that it can only take one single accident to break and just give up but you have to be strong. I love you guys so much and I devote so much of my time to you guys. Sometimes I can feel as though I know exactly what and how you feel.You guys are like my big brothers I never had. I was suppost to have an older brother but he was still born, and when I see you guys you just remind me of the perfect brothers. Loving, caring , always knowing what to do, fun, and happy. But things aren't alwyas that way. Things aren't always that happy and they don't always go in the right direction but I will love you and the rest of the guys forever and I will always be there for you. Dear AJ, When I heard this news I sat on my train on my way from work & wrote u a 20 page letter, asking u furiously why did u let urself get this far??? But that doesn't matter now, u are doing something about it. & I am glad that u realized this now. When u have the love & support of ur family & the boys, not to mention the support of ur millions of fans.
