i am very happy for u that u had the guts to do this.it is not easy to confes ur problems i know i have vvvveeeerry simmalier problems in my life.me and my best friend cryed when we saw this and it is hard to get us to cry.well keep ur head up dont look down and know there is people who love and care for u and are suporting all ur moves in life.plaese know we do not care as fans right now but as friends we love u for u and i will find in my heart and my prayers a special spot for u.we hope u get though life and live it well.i love u i way words could not say.thank u for helping me know i am not the only ones with problems and that i can get though them.thank u and god bless u.we will be praying.ilove u alot.

I was fixing my Backstreet Boys videos, looking at how all you guys looked in 1998, reminiscing on Backstreet-hood. I thought BSB would be #1, so I kept on my work until around 4:50. Well they weren't #1, so I missed this whole story. I opened my e-mail box and saw all these emails. I broke out in tears, thinking how I just saw them less than a week ago, and just drew a picture of AJ last night. Anyway, the point of this is to say, just like in the letter I gave to them June 30, I will support them in anything they do. And AJ, I am so proud you had the bravery to admit to your problem, and get help right away. I love the Backstreet Boys, and I love you AJ, you can get through this. And with our love and support, along with the love and support of you friends, family, and the boys I know you will!

i just want to say that i was a huge backstreet fan before this, but now i am an even bigger fan because it takes a lot of courage to admit to something, especially when your a backstreet boy, and i hope that aj pulls through this and is back to his "old self" soon. i have so much respect for them because they didn't lie about this, they respect their fans, and they need all the support we can give them. i send my prayers out to aj and his family, and i wish him nothing but the best!!! i hope that they can pull through this and be better than ever!!!! i've been a fan since 1997, and i will forever be a backstreet boys fan!!!!!!!(All caps detected. AJ from the bottom of my heart PLEASE GET BETTTER. You need to get better. This is not healthy, you are so lucky to live the life that you have. Please don't destroy your future . I deeply admire the fact that you were able to admit and realize that you had a problem, and that you were able to admit and realize that you needed help to solve it. I'm proud of you for admitting that you have a problem and want to get help for it. That's good. I'm sorry that you have to go through all of this. I have family experiences with this matter and it's hard but it does get better with time. By admitting that you have a problem, you have already done the first step in order to get better.
