I was almost crying when I heard Kevin's first statement on TRL today. I truly feel bad for you, AJ...but you did show a lot of strength and character when you admitted you had a problem. This news was so sudden and shocking to me. I was so scared (and I know a lot of my 'internet bsb buddies' were too) right before the BSB came out. When I realized AJ wasn't with them, and I saw the serious looks on their faces, I was more scared. However, there's a good side to this. AJ is on his road to recovery...and I believe he CAN make it. I know many other fans do too. I'm glad he decided to seek help and now I have this newfound respect for BSB. Don't get me wrong. I am BIG BSB fan and respected them even before this news, but now I guess I respect them even more. I see how close the guys are and how even they admitted there is no Backstreet Boys without AJ. You have real problems and are forced to deal with them like any other people. I think it took a lot of strength and courage to admit you had a problem. And it takes a real man to ask for help. I liked the Backstreet Boys a lot before but now I have such a greater respect for you, not only as an artist, but as a human being as well. You are the bravest person I know. I want you to know that. No matter what other people might say about this personal issue, I want you to know that so many people are on your side. I suddenly wasn't alone like I thought I had once been before, Now I am seeing my Future so clearly with my blessed Lord. He is holding his arms out to me and welcoming me to Him, He says that I can only find the comfort I need nestled within. I began to understand because I had given my life, I told Him I was ready to serve Him day and night. I've lived with this pain for so long its just like home, now I want to run and share this new love that I have in my soul.
