Dear A.J.,You made such a good choice to get help. Once I heard that the concerts were canceled because you were in rehab, I was no longer worried about missing the concert, I was worried about you. But I know that you will recover. I love you and the rest of the Backstreet Boys and I really hope you recover soon. Alex,
is it ok for me to call you Alex? i hope so. hey what can i say? my respect for you and the others is tremendous right now. i cant even begin to imagine how hard this must be for you and the others. just know that all your fans are here for you. you have touched so many lives and inspired so many people in so many ways. when i get upset and cry myself to sleep at night its always your cd thats on repeat that calms me down and makes it all seems ok even if it isnt. life isnt a fairy tale. if it was then it would be pointless. you have proved that even superstars dont have the perfect life. hopefully this will get you and the others more respect. you deserve alot. i know at times life can seem like a soap opera but just remember that its always ok in the end and if it isnt ok then it isnt the end. trust in God and believe that He will make it better ok? remember how much you are loved. hope to see you soon when you get back on the road. youll be in my thoughts (as you always are) and prayers. get better fast k? Hey! I know you are strong and that you will pull through this! You did the right thing when you told the other guys and realized you have a problem. It's also good that you what to get through this and not just ignore it until it's too late. I'm behind you 10000...% and more.Even non-fans are behind you. My friend Sam is behind you, and she's not even a Backstreet fan. We're behid you all the way, and just want you to get better. Just remember it doesn't matter that the tour is waiting. All that matters is that you get better and that you go on tour when you're ready and only when you are ready! No matter what! Get better soon and stay strong. After seeing you perform Saturday night in Boston, and to hear on MTV today what happened, I couldn't believe it. I'm really proud that you had the courage to get help, even though you were in the middle of the black & blue tour. I just want to let you know, and I think I speak for all your fans, that I am 100% behind you and I know you can do it. You have so many BSB fans praying for you, and believing in you that this problem can definitely be fixed. When I heard Kevin announce that on MTV I started crying, but they were tears of happiness knowing you came out and are doing whats right. That shows alot to yourself, your group, and ALL your fans. WE LOVE YOU AJ!!!!

hey.I will tell u now ur not alone.i feel where coming from.i read the first few messages i saw. its like u seem fine when i saw u in concert, but now.u probley feel like ur in a black hole.or like ur dead in side.life is just so blank, a string of days ahead of u. but there is so soooo much more than that u just have to have faith!u need to focus on the good as well as bad in life, maybe there is a lot of bad to u now, but is all that worth giving up ur dream,the concerts,the band, all the good things u have that u thank god for all the tyme.u probley dwell on everything alot too,DONT! they will seem worse than they r.and one day when ur through all this u will laugh[at least i did].oh yeah and never say i dunno to counslears[they hate that]u just waste tyme[there r no easy answers for that kinda stuff]

Hi AJ,
I know what it is like first of all to have lost someone very close to me, I also lost my grandmother a few years ago to breast cancer, it took me a long time to get over it and I was sick for years with depression and I quit eating and I was making myself very sick and I was doing all kinds of things to hurt myself cause I didnt care after she died. I have also had other problems after she died that made my depression even worse, with my boyfriend and my family my mom kicked me out and my b/f got someone close to me pregnant durin the time we were together and other problems when we were together, I had to get away from it all and I had thought of committing suicide alot of times but my friend talked me out of it, and I moved away from everything and started a new life and now it is alot better I became a christian and God came into my life and took all my pain and problems away I met a family that took me in when I had no one and allowed me to start over and they are like my real family that I never had. I just wanted to tell you that me and my family will keep you and your family and also the people closest to you in our prayers and hope you get better and its good that your getting help cause you have to want to get help I did the same thing I knew I was sick but didnt want to get help but everyone else around me wanted me to get help but I didnt want it, people can try and help you but you have to want help. You and everyone closest to you and your family will be in our prayers and hope that all the people and fans will keep you and your prayers also. well thats about all I have to say. I know alot of people care about you and love you and I know alot of your fans just want you to be happy and healthy and be yourself and we all hope you get better soon. take care and love ya always.Love Always

Hi. I am devistated to hear about AJ. I have been a devoted BSB fan for about 5 years now and AJ was just always the one I related to. I seemed to understand more about him. Now, dont get me wrong, I love all 5 of those guys with all my heart, but AJ was just the one I seemed to understand. AJ has touched my life in so many ways its not even funny. He, along with the rest of the guys, have helped me deal with alot of things and gotten me through some rough spots in my life. AJ has gotten me through the whole drama that comes along with my dad. He just has really touched my life and it breaks my heart to hear him going through this. I am so glad that he was man enough to realize that he needed help and actually went out and got some. I am also truly touched that the Boys didnt keep this from the fans and told us straight up. I am asking everyone to please please keep him in yalls prayers. Nothing is stronger than the power of prayer and AJ truly needs it right now. Lets stick by these Boys for the times they've always stuck by us. Lets truly keep the Backstreet pride alive. AJ, I know you can get through this. You have touched my life in so many ways and Ill definately keep you in my prayers. You get better now, ya hear..lol. To the rest of the guys, You are truly awesome for sticking by him. Thanks for telling us fans straight up and not keeping it from us. If we all stick together, we can all get through this. I am sorry to hear about your problems, but I am happy to see you trying to fix them. It takes a lot of courage and willpower to make a problem right. I believe you can do it. At first I was upset that they cancelled the tour, but then I found out why they did..and I just got more upset. It was brave of you to check yourself into rehab and confront you family and friends. I hope you get better soon. I wish you all the best. I will keep you, your friends and family in my prayers. Please get better soon. You health is way more important. You've got the best fans in the world to help you get throught this..not to mention the greatest friends and family anyone could have to support you.
