I'm so sad I could cry and yet I'm happy. I'm glad you're getting help. You have no idea how much you and the rest of the guys have touched my heart. But you're such a wonderful, caring person. My dad is a recovering alcoholic. For the past 8 years he drank not to solve his problems just to get rid of them for awhile. He use to abuse my step-mom and he never realized how much all of us despised his drinking. He went to rehab 3 times and nothing seemed to help. Then his dad, my grand-pa, died. On top of that my step-mom divorced him. Since then he hasn't drank. He drinks kool-aid now. I'm still scared he's going to start drinking again whenever something negative happens in his life. So far he's fine. Alex I think as a fan I admire you more now than before. It takes a lot of courage to admit you have a drinking problem. It takes even more courage to get help. But I don't think 30 days is enough. I mean I'm not sure how serious your habit was but getting over depression can't be done in 30 days. Trust me I know. Know that your fans including me support you and we'll keep you in our prayers. Even though you don't come to Albuquerque I always read about you guys just to see what you're up to. Ha, ha... It was very brave of you to say that you had a problem and that you needed help, not many people can admit that they are in trouble and they need help. I heard a sneak peak of your song (Not to say that it was very beautiful and I can't stop listen it even though it wasn't that long) when you were on your bus.At that point I started to cry because I never thought anything like this could happen to you, but after all it can because you are just as normal as anyone else. You put so much emotion into that song of yours, and saying that you just want to be happy. I support you all the way on that. I'm absolutly sure that your Mother, Kevin, Howie, Brian, Nick, and all your wonderful fans out there will support you untill you get better. You know you can take as long as you need to recover. Your music has a way of making major changes in peoples lives. It has made some in ours :In Amanda L's case it helps her be more confident about being in a wheelchair and not worry about the things she can't do and think about the things she can. In Amanda C's case it has helped her deal with the loss of her Aunt and her Mother by putting her mind at ease and taking it off the subject.
