Dear AJ, and the backstreet boys-
So many people in this world today were shocked to hear what we heard at 4:40 this afternoon. So many tears were fallen, so many eyes cryed out. I myself am still sitting here in tears at 12:23 a.m tuesday morning. AJ we love you so much. Every single fan is supporting and praying for you. You are loved by so many. It tore me apart to find out what i found out today, i had no idea, cause u bring so many smiles to our faces and so much happines to each and every single one of us. I am going to pray for you and the other four members. You will be in prayer request at my church. I pray that you get better and heathier as we all do. the conceerts can wait. All we want is for aj mclean to be healthy and happy. your prayers are with me. godbless

Hey baby... I know you're going through hard times right now.. these last couple of months weren't the easiest months for you. I know how you feel right now. Cuz i've gone through depression and even came close to suicide...But I got out of that situation.. you know what were the 2 things that kept me living?? They were 1)my friends and 2) you and the rest of the boys... I just kept on thinking.. "I haven't seen you guys in concert yet.. i can't miss out on that.." I support you in whatever you choose to do.
I'm so proud of you!!! I'm proud that you came out and admitted that you had a problem and is seeking help. Often fans put their idols on a high platform and think that they are God. You showed everyone that you celebrities are human and do go through struggles and will correct your wrongs... I'm proud of you... We, the fans are here for you and will help you through this as much as we can. You got 4 great guys beside you too.. and your mother and the rest of ur family.. When you find that times get hard in the rehab remember the lyrics from an insperational song from RAY J that has helped me through many things..."Keep your head up to the sky, promise you'll get by. baby boy (changed from girl to boy ~LOL~ )believe, i know you are going through hard times, but you don't have to cry, just keep your head up high" You will be in my prayers until you get better :) Don't worry take all the time you need. When I thought life was over, when i felt nothing was worthy...when i didn't believe in anything anymore...5 angels came to me and showed me DREAMS DO COME TRUE...now one of those angels is sick...and i can't do anything, but pray for him...Dear AJ... you taught me to believe again... you showed me how to fly!!!... My name is Lisa and Iam 42 years old.
Iam not to sure what has been going on in your life, but I too know what it is like to feel alone and sad even in a crowd of people..
I too love and care for my momma, and my dad who now lives in Florida had not much to do with me as a child,,,,
So when I turned 18 I left home and came to California...
Even then I was so lonely....
I worked and went home to a lonely home
each nite..
I used to hope that one day I would find some one to love and they would love me too :)
Then one day that person came into my life and then 3 years later he was killed by a drunken driver~~~~~~~
I had lost every thing that I loved.......
Then I became every thing I hated,
I began to drink to hide my pain and lonelyness......
It was to hard to think and feel.
But know Iam a mom and my life has changed
I still feel lonely some times but I try to find joy in other ways....

Dear AJ-The news I received this afternoon hurt me indeed, but I believe my love for you and the rest of the boys has grown. It took a lot of bravery to come out and say that you had a problem. I'm sure all the fans are happiest with your decision to seek help. It's all about your health.
Your song that was on MTV is truly a masterpiece. It's so simple, yet so touching, so heart-felt.
I wish you the best of luck in the future and I will keep you in my prayers and heart.

No words can describe how proud I am of the Backstreet Boys. I hope that they all know, especially AJ, that we love them. I mean LOVE them! It took alot of guts to say that there are problems. There is nothing but 100% support and love for you through this tough time in your life...Its takes the STRONGEST kind of person to admit there is a problem so your strong NO denying that...it may be a long road ahead, but your fans are behind you all the way even if you can't see us or know it, you've given us so much just by being who and what you are to us we owe this to you, you've made us smile through the hardest times with your music and you presence and you have no idea, but for that we'll be eternally grateful and support you in any way possible....I don't really know what to say and I'm not that good with words, but you and the rest of the guys are in my thoughts and prayers.....

i know that u'll get through this time. ur a strong person so is destined to do soo much for this world and this is not going to slow you down. if possible, this will make u even a stronger person. no body is perfect and this only proves that u r a human being w/ needs, just like everyone else. by letting it out, u not only helped urself, u helped others. i know that u'll get back on ur feet and be better than u r ready r, if possible. i support u and ur decison. take all the time in the world, anything for you to get better. whatever happens, happens and u will always have my love and support. i've loved u guys since 8th and i'm a senior now, and i love u guys more and more every single day. please take care of urself and know that u have me and a trillion bsb fans behind u 150%. may God watch and care for you :)

A. J. remember you are Loved by many, many People that only want whats right for You, please take your time and come back when and only when it is safe and advisable for you to dos so. Al ways remember you have no time tables that are set in stone here except for the one that you and your doctors feel that you need to follow. The shows can always be made up and changed around. AJ,I don't think I have ever cried so much in one day ever before. When I found out that you were going into rehab, I was nothing but shocked and scared. But, after thinking about it I became happy the you made the decision to do the right thing. I wish you nothing but the best of luck and all my love. I want you to know that you are in my prayers for the next 30 days...and long after that. I know that you can get through this. I can't wait to see you again when teh tour starts up again. I ask everybody to pray for AJ and for his family and
the rest of the guys. I know what AJ is going threw
with the battle of depression, I went threw it. I want to say how proud I am of him and the rest of
the Boys for coming clear with the truth and for AJ to
actrually facing his problem and asking for help. Do not be angry with AJ, whatever you do. He can not
help what has come over him anymore than we can. We
must remember that the guys, no matter how we debate
it, are not perfect. I understand what a blow this is.
None of us fans knew this was coming. All we have to
do is understand and help. And the only way we could
help is by praying. If you don't even pray, just think
about him, okay? It's hard on him already, please
don't make this harder than it already is.

God, I can't believe this. AJ is my fave... and I have been praying for him all day. And I've been crying, not because of the tour, but because of him. BSB fans need to stick together, and support AJ through this time when he needs us. But I am proud of him, he made the hardest step... he admitedhe had a problem.
