When I heard that you were going in for rehab I was in shock. But then I realized that you had made the best decision. Not only for yourself but for your family and the fans. We are going to stand behind you no matter what. And we will all be here waiting for your return when you recover. I must say that I am proud to be a Backstreet Boys fan. Especially now. When all the fans are sticking together. We are here for you til you are better and after that. You are in my prayers. I wish you the best and can't wait to see you in Chicago. I want to commend you for admitting that you have a problem. But I also want to thank you for helping me realize that I am not the only one that has this problem. I know you are strong and that you will get over this. I just want to commend you again. Thanks for everything guys. You have helped me through so much now I want to be here for you.

My prayers are with you AJ and I'm so sorry for your grandmother's recent death cuz I know how close you were to her, but you know that now she's with God and at peace. Just remember she'll be with you always. Keep that in your heart and get stronger. R.I.P.

What pisses me off are the so called 'fans' who can't get over the fact that they're gonna have to wait a while to see the guys live. Get a fucking life...I'm proud of the real true fans who are right now praying for AJ...the ones who know what depression really is know it's serious stuff. Don't be angry at AJ - it's the last thing he deserves and needs right now. I'm proud of the rest of the group for comming out with full honesty to the fans. And most of all, I'm proud of AJ for getting help and stopping his problem before it furthered. Good luck.

AJ,
I am so impressed by your strength and courage to admit to yourself that you have a problem. They always say that is the hardest part on the raod to recovery. I know that this must be an extremely hard time in your life but remember that you have millions of people praying for you all around the world . Plus more love and support than you could imagine. AJ, everyone is behind you every step of the way. Whenever times get almost unbearable try to remember that SO many people love you, and admire you.
Through this I have gained a huge amount of respect for you, it must be so difficult to go thorugh this at all, let aone in the public eye.And to the rest of the Boys, dont even think about going back on tour until AJ is totally 100% ready for it, mentally, physically and emothionally. You guys have done so damn much for us fans over th epast 8 years, its now time to focus on you 5 guys and concentrate on making you the best and strongest that you can be as a group. And if that means postponing the tour for 6 months till AJ is fully recovered then that is exactly what you should do. Being from Australia I was and still am dying for your return to do a concert for us Aussie fans. BUT now I dont care if you dont come, (well I do) but the most important thing is that you are all totally healthy and happy. I would rather you all be healthy and happy and never come here than you have problems that are affecting your lives and bring your show here. AJ WE LOVE YOU

Come on AJ, we know you are strong. They say the first step to solving the problem is admitting you have the problem, so you are passed the first step. You can do this, you have the whole world on your side, even non-bsb fans are showing their support to you and we all love you and we all know you can do this. You are stronger than your problems, and i wish you the best and get back out there as soon as you can

AJ,I just heard that you are going to receive help because of depression, anxiety and alcoholism. I'm sure it was a hard decision for you and the guys to go on TV and tell the whole world that you need help, but your fans love you for this. Hey AJ. I just wanted to let you know that everybody's praying for you. To me, this whole ordeal has been an inspiration. One might look at it as a horrible incident, but I see it as a wonderful thing, in a certain light. For one thing, I admire you more than ever before for realizing you had a problem, and for getting help for it. Two, I'm sure this will encourage depressed fans that it's okay to admit there's a problem... it's okay to get help... and one of those fans is me. You have given me a message, and that is that I am not alone. I'm not the only one. We are not the only ones, though at times it may seem so. I know what it's like to want to die, to want to stay in bed all day and just sleep. But you... you give me hope. You have always given me hope, you and the other guys.... but this tops it all. I respect you so much, and although I don't know you personally, I know you through song and thought. There's a certain love for you inside of me... I guess what I'm trying to say is this: 1. Good for you for getting help. 2. I'm behind you every step of the way. 3. Thank you. I know that it will be alright. and 4. I love you. You give me hope AJ. You let me know that it's alright, and that I'm not alone.

well...this goes out to AJ...sometimes I'm wondering why people have to go through this and that, sometimes I believe the world's just not fair. You lay there, crying, screaming out to the world to stop, but it just keeps turning, everyday. One believes that the world should stop for EVERYONE, because it has stopped for oneself. And then, as hard as it may seem, one has to realize, that the world still keeps turning, the sun keeps on shining on another day, and all one can do is standing there, and hoping for someone to SEE oneself.
I think that many knew what was 'wrong' with you, and I think many really tried to help. But the first and the most decisive step was when you began to realize on your own. I remember, as you once said in an interview, that you'd have a friend back at home, and that she took drugs. It was so important for you to help her, you called her everyday when she was in this rehab center. You told her not to lose hope, and that's what everyone of us is trying to tell you: never lose hope, we know that you can get it, and you will, I'm sure about that.
I don't know what at last made you suffer from depression, but I hope you'll find your freedom, I hope so badly that you'll find what you are looking for in your life. And no matter how hard it all may seem, never forget that there are thousands of people out there who would give the world for you if they had the chance. They're always on your side, WE are always on your side. And even though one may think that you are weak at the moment...to me, you're one of the strongest persons in the world at the moment, because YOU decided to do what you had to do. I'll stand by you,

I am so proud of you for getting yourself help. That is the first and hardest step to overcoming you problem. To admit to yourself that you have a problem and that you need help goes to show how strong you are as a person. I admire that about you. Many people in your position would try and hide the fact that they have a drinking problem and it becomes bigger than them and by that time it is too late to stop the problem. I belive in you and that you can overcome this. Always keep in mind that all of your fans are behind you 100% and we are all so proud of you aj! You made the right choice! We love you aj! i look forward to see in you good health at your August 9th Tacoma concert!
