A.J.,I am still in shock. I can't believe how brave you are for admitting you have a problem. That was a very admirable and manly thing you did. I love you, Always, and I will constantly pray for you until the day when you are genuinely happy. Also now that there is a girl in Western Pa. who admires you courage and supports everything you do. hi everyone. I just wanted to say that when I heard about this news yesterday, even though I knew AJ wasnt exactly "mammas boy" all along, It still shocked me. I put all my trust into this group for about 4 years. Im not at all any less of a fan now then I was but as a Christian it is my belief that God is with him now...we should all realize this and I think we should all form one minute out of this day to stop and pray for him, because I feel like all the fans are family with BSB at the center. To AJ: I will pray for you. The Lord will forgive your sins if you ask. Ask and it shall be given to you. You will heal again through Him who strengthens you. The Lord is your refuge and your strength. Just ask. Your grandmother is with God too. Im sure of it. Shes looking down on you now and blessing you. Please get well soon for God, for your Grandma, the guys, the fans but first for yourself. Were counting on you and we all love you more than you'll ever ever know. God is blessing you.

To AJ,I just found out today that you've entered rehab. I first heard some radio DJs on a local station joking about it and thought it was just a gag. But after reading the news on backstreet.net, I guess it's no joke after all.
Above all, I admire the fact that you told the other guys that something was wrong and you needed help. Not many people have the courage to admit there's something amiss in their lives; rather they continue on as normal. But you, however, had the courage to stand up and realize that you needed help. That, to me, is very noble of a person. It tells your fans so much about your spirit and your heart.
But don't ever think that you're alone. I hope you know that Kevin, Howie, Brian, and Nick will be there for you and so will every BSB fan the world over. It may be a long battle, but there are plenty of people willing to fight for you.
AJ, I wish you good luck in your struggle. I don't know if you'll ever read this, but here's something to maybe help you through:

I am thinking of you! i know what it is like ot og through depression i have had it since 1997!! and it was you guys that helped me through with your music!
i learnt to deal with my depression by looking forward to things in life and always looking at life from the other side!

AJ,
I wish you the best in trying to get better.Being depressed is a hard thing to break through. And to be honest with you there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I found it, but it took a lot of time, and a lot of support. It helps if you have something that makes you happy, even if it's just for a short time. And your music was what helped me. I hope that everything works the way you need it or want it to work. I prayed for you last night, and I'll continue to P.U.S.H or Pray Until Something Happens.
AJ I love you as a person, for all of the charity works you've and I'm going to support you every step of the way. Honestly, I wish I could give you a big hug.

Dear AJ,
Where do we start? What can I personally say... that fifty others haven't already?
Don't lose hope, of course. You have a lot of fans waiting for you... holding their breaths until they see your smile and your sunglasses... until they hear your beautiful voice... but don't worry about your fans turning blue... take all the time you need. :) And let's not forget... your friends and family. Through everything you all have gone through... and will continue to... there is endless amounts of support. I hope you always remember that. And before all the other fans kick me... you have endless amounts of love as well. (that last comment was not written in fear of the other fans hurting me- trust me :) )
I'm not going to say "hey, i'm proud of u" or "i cried the second i heard" because everyone else has already done it for me . But I wanted to say... I have a slight idea of what you're going through... Even though I am much younger and probably experienced half the things that you have... I know. I've been there. And your reasons probably vary from what mine were... but its the same feelings... And yea, it sucks. But it gets better. Soon, you'll be performing at one of your concerts... and you'll be yelling "Hell Yea!" ... or something like that. :) With a lot of pain... comes a lot of happiness... You just wait for that. I know it's coming. Happily Ever After is waiting for you. Just a little longer... and if you ever need to vent or something... I bet a thousand hands are shooting up right now to be there for you. (Mine being one of them ) :)
See you at your next concert AJ. and again... Don't ever lose hope... you're sailing on a ship with Nick as captain... and even though you can't see land and you're freaking out... it's there. Right there. You'll get there. (using the word 'there' too much-hehe) (btw-Nick... I love u... no offense over there ) (--again with the 'there' !)

I just wanted to say that I feel bad for A.J. and the rest of the group, but keep in mind, guys, that things may not go on after this. I'm sure A.J. is NOT the only one facing problems, and if the group is the source of the problems, it's liable to collapse any minute. It's happened before, and it's likely to happen again. Things just dont last forever and it's not realistic for them to be able to live healthily for 3 years in each other's faces. I do hope the best for the group, and if that's "breaking up", so be it

Ohmygosh! I found out yesterday...my family, instead of taking me to the concert for my birthday, took me to the Bowling Alley/Arcade. I could barely concentrate, even though my adorable ex was in the lane right next to mine. I cried myself to sleep. Yes, we are keeping the tix for the September 8 show, but i can barely believe that you of all people are depressed...=(I have found like 1000 things that will be sending you cards, etc., so this would be number 1001. =) If ya'll get tired of my little gifts and things, just don't open 'em. lol. Well, pretty basically, I know what you're going through. I myself am deeply depressed (& suicidal), and i have not had the courage to confront anyone about it. I can't bring myself to tell, say, my Mother that i need to get help. She was clinically depressed as well, and my dad is on treatment for depression now. i guess i know how ya feel with the deaths...one of my friends died in an ATV crash (mike) he lived just down the street...argh, now i'm cryin'...

I love you AJ and I will give you all the support, prayers, help, and encouragement you need. Everyone is supporting you even though they're not a fan. You can always gain one! I am a big fan of you and BSB, though. I just want you to get better and if you have to have some time to get through all this.. you know that we will give you all the time. A.J.,Even though I'm a boy, I am a big fan of the Backstreet Boys and when I heard about you going into rehab I was shocked. You are my favorite BSB and I wish you, as well as the rest of the group and your friends and family, the best of luck. I will keep you in my prayers.
