AJ, I just want you to know I am praying for you. I don't know if you remember me, but I met you at the Meet N Greet in Camden, NJ. I'm the girl that was in the wheelchair. I am so sorry you are going through this horrible time. I know how depression can be, but I also know you can beat it. I did. Do everything your doctors tell you in rehab and everything your counselors tell you and you'll make it! I love you AJ and I'm praying for you every second! Yesterday was a real eye opener for me it was just one of those days you never forget. I love AJ and I care for him so deeply and I didn't even know it until yesterday when I realized what a big part of me him and the rest of the Backstreet Boys are. They aren't just another group there dynamic is so powerful and at the moment, I feel emotionally unstable because I feel like a big part of me has been ripped open inside me. The thought of knowing that AJ is hurting in any way or form is just discomforting and frustrating because all I want is for him is to be healthy and happy. I'm very proud of AJ he has impacted my life in such a positive way. I find his strength and courage admirable and I have so much respect for Kevin, Howie, Nick and Brian for being upfront about this serious problem and even more respect for putting AJ's health as a priority because at the moment his health is the most important thing. My heart and prayers are with AJ and the rest of the guys they are not alone and they have my support 100% for eternity because they have done so much for me as a fan and I just hope they know how special they are.

I'm happy for you that you admitted to yourself you had a problem and needed help. Now you can clear your head out and have a 30 days to help just yourself. There is no need to worry that your fans will hate you cause we never would you guys all help us and have charites well now its time for you to have help and us to support you. Just think about yourself right now and when you come back you'll be better then ever.

**Aj*** when i first herd what has happend i was very sad. dont feel that people are going to be Disappointed in you beacuase your true fans will stand by you in their thoughts and prayers. i have not been through depression but finding in your heart to tell the world that you have a problem is awsome in my eyes, you are so strong mentally and you know that, and i know that and you can get through this. many prayers for you have been cast out to God the last couple nights and he is watching over you, as you know. All i have to tell you is that you are awsome person inside and out. you, and all the rest of the guys have made me the best person i can be and i love you guys for that. its soo amazing to actually make someone be the best they can be and have them succeed, i am doing very well becuase you guys have played a very big part in my life,you guys made me so strong and i thank you guys soo much. you guys should be VERY proud and my thoughts and prayers are with you always

Abuse of alcohol. That is one thing I never want to hear again in my life. I know the pain of losing one you love to the abuse of alcohol. I lost my grandfather a year ago. Although he died a year ago we lost him many years before that. He was a serious alcoholic for many years, as he got older the effects of years of heavy drinking began to appear. You can't imagine what it's like talking to someone and they have no idea of who you are. It shakes you to the core. You can't cure alcoholism, it stays with you for life, you can get treatment, but its effects lay dormant ready to resurface, that's the heavy price you pay. That's the thing about alcohol, it poisons you. It destroys you. Not only does it destroy your mind and body, it destroys your soul. It affects everyone you love and everyone around you.
Thankgod that AJ recognised he had a problem and sought out treatment before this terrible silent disease took a stronger hold on him. May you recover soon and bless you for coming forth with your problem. Love, Laura

We know that you love what you do enough to get through this and go back to where you truly belong which is up on stage in front of all your fans doing what you love to do. This something that a friend sent to me when I was down and I just wanted to share it with you! I am a 29 year old dedicated BSB fan(especially AJ) and my thoughts are with you in your time of recovery!!!!! I love you AJ!!!!!!!!! Maybe God wanted us to meet the wrong people
before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right
person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
Maybe when the door of happiness closes, another opens.
But often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the
one
which has been opened for us.
Maybe the best kind of friend is the kind
you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk
away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.
Maybe it is true that we don't know what we
have got until we lose it, but it is also true that we don't know what
we have been missing until it arrives.
Giving someone all your love is never an
assurance that they will love you back. Don't expect love in return;
just wait for it to grow in their heart; but if it does not, be content it
grew in yours.
It takes only a minute to get a crush on
someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it
takes a lifetime to forget someone.
Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't
