After hereing and seeing the guys (Brian, Nick, Howie and Kevin) on TRL by heart droped with sadness, and i then felt tears down my face. I'm very proud of you that you came forward to the group before it became worse. You are a very stroung man and can overcome your problem. Your family, friends, the guys (Brian, Nick Howie, Kevin), and all of your fans around the world (including myself) are behind you 100%. I love you and the Backstreet Boys very much and i can never see an ending to the greaest Pop group in the world. My prayers and good wishes are with you and the group always.

Today I was told AJ's problem, and today is my birthday. At first I felt sad, but now I'm happy to know that AJ is one of the bravest man on Earth. All my best wishes are for this incredible brave person, who had decided to go on with his life, and get over this problem. AJ: God bless you, and remember that there's a lot of people how care about you. Thank you for this lesson that you are teaching us.

AJ,
When i herd that you were going throught depression i was shoked i couldn't believe it. I thought to myself it cant be..no way,aj always seems so happy onstage and stuff but now i know that you guys are normal ppl and normal things happen to you. My best friend just had her mom die of brest cancer almost a month ago, all i remember is her crying in my arms and saying i am never gonna move on i am gonna move on...but with the help of her friends and family she is moving on and with the help of your best buds nick.b-rok,kevin and howie and your family and freinds you will be able to move on if you belive in yourself. I hope you get better soon...with god's help i know you will...you will be in my prayers every night..god bless

First off I just want to tell you that I am so proud of you for admitting you have a problem and getting help for it!!! That shows so much character. Second of all, I have tickets to your July 24th show in Detroit and now I have to wait till September 20th, but I would wait even longer if it means that you'll be well again. I've been a fan for 4 years and I always will be. I think i speak on behalf of all your fans that we will wait for as long as it takes. I already left one message but I am so upset I feel like have to leave another! I wanted to tell you again how much you mean to all of us and how very proud I am of you. It takes a real man to ask for help. Thank God for your BSB brothers who truly love you - I am so glad to know that Kevin, Brian, Nick and Howie are exactly the great guys I have always thought they were. Know that we all love you just as much as they do. You are in my prayers, my thoughts and in my heart. It hurts so much to know that you are in so much pain. I had no idea. Dear Alex,
I'm sorry to hear about you going through depression and dealing with it through alcohol. Trust me when I say I know the feeling. I've been there and dealt with it by attempting suicide. Not the smartest thing, so don't try it. Alex, you have four people who care about you deeply, and millions of fans who care about you also. When I heard what happened, I burst into tears because I knew just how you probably felt, and because you happen to be my all time favorite guy. I hope that you'll get better after rehab and open up to people, like the rest of the fellows, and not shut yourself out. It's better if you let people know, especially when they care so much about you. I wish you the best fo luck and send bunches of hugs and kisses your way. If you ever need to talk to someone you know you'll never see...write me. Keep up the faith and get better. I'll miss you lotz!

this is like my fourth time writing in here but i just keep wanting to tell aj or whever reads this how much i support him and love him. watching u thru the years has made me happy and i love ur personality and alll ur tattoos, and u got me into coloringmy hair funky colors. and at the school i went to *a christian school* that was not allowed but i got away w/ it. i hope u get better soon and realize how much ur family, friends and fans love u. and whatever it takes for u to feel better and be truly happy is what we all want u to do.my mother works in detox and mental health areas and she hopes that u stay as long as u need and that u recover well. she is also a fan and knows how much i love u and have watched u thru the years. i have an uncle that has a alcohol problem as well as drugs and i know how hard it is w/ depression, having been thru it and friends and family experince it too. i hope that u realize that u have so much that u can do and that ur grandmother will alyways be w/ u in ur heart and in spirit and she loves u so much and wants u to be happy. i love u aj and all the rest of the guys too.

A.J., when I heard the announcement on TRL, I was so overwhelmed. I want you to know that no matter what we are backing you up in whatever road you choose. I am so proud of you for stepping up and admitting that you have a problem and need help with it, it shows how strong you are. It breaks my heart to see you and the guys in so much pain, I was in tears, as were many others. Dear Backstreet Boys,
My name is Emily Zaler and I am a FANATIC! Right now I am supporting you guys more then I ever have! This is a very tough time for you , but i KNOW that you guys can handle it. Even though i dont know you personally, I know that each of you are individually very strong men! You guys have shown that in many points in your careers, including low points and high points. This is just another thing that you WILL overcome. BELIEVE IN YOURSELFS! YOU CAN DO IT!
AJ, the best thing you could have done was to admit your problem. That is your first step to success! WAY TO GO! Keep working hard , you can do it! And when you overcome it , I will be there on August 7th in Vancouver, Canada when your tour kicks off again to cheer you on! Even though Ive never met you , I KNOW you can handle it!
