First of all I think you should know that you have the love and support of millions of fans. I think you did the right thing. It's best to fix a problem soon, rather than let it build up and get worse. I know you're a great person with a strong heart and mind. Take as long as you want...we can wait. Hey A.J, I just want to say that I admire the fact that you stood up and admited you needed help, and the other guys for telling the fans the truth, we all really appreciate it. I hope you get better, but take your time and don't rush back if your not ready. My prayers are with you!

AJ,I hope you get better very soon. I am going to the concert on sept 20. I miss haveing to see you on tv. You seem like a really nice person to sit done and talk to. We love you and we hope that your gettin the kind of help that you need and the kind of help you deserve.We've watched you become so successful over the past years and we all would hate to see you throw everything away.You've worked so hard and you've put so much efort into making music and doing what you love but your health and happiness should come before any of that.
AJ, we just want you to know that if you ever have a problem you can always talk to the any of the other Backstreet Boys.They love you as a brother and it tears them as well as everybody else including your fans to have to watch you suffer and go through so much uneccesary pain. The most important thing to everyone right now is to see you get well and to see you have back your happiness.We know this is a difficult time for you but AJ, if you believe you wanna get well and you have faith in God about it then you will get better. Our prayers are with you and you have all our love and support.
No matter what and no matter how hard you think it is or is going to be always know that you are loved by many especially God. I was watching TRL, thinking it was a normal day. Carson Daly came on and said that they were going to have an interview with the Backstreet Boys. I was so happy, but I didn't know what I was in for. When Carson said BSB was going to be there, I thought to myself, this can't be good. They finally showed the BSB...everyone but one, AJ. When I saw everyone but AJ was there I thought he had died. Then Kevin said that they had come to a conclusion... by then I had thought that AJ was now leaving the group. I was already in tears. Kevin had to stop because you could tell that he wanted to cry. You saw girls all around TRL crying. He said that AJ was going to go to rehab for 30 days. AJ has had a drinking for a long time now and most people have known this. I was one of them. I knew he had this problem but didn't think it was this big. I just wanted to say that I'm SOOO happy for AJ. The most important step in this is know that YOU have a problem. AJ now knows he does have a problem and he wants to get through it. I'M PROUD OF YOU AJ!! But don't forget about the other memeber!! Brian said that they had already tried to talk to AJ about his problem. So they did indeed help out:) ~Pray for AJ to get better~

A.J. I am really proud of you for having the strength to realize that you had a problem and also the strength to go for help. Denying a problem is not going to make it go away. First you realized that you had a problem then you realized that you needed more help from others that care for you. I commend you for getting the help that you need. I was totally shocked when I heard the news about A.J. I was in tears when I saw you guys on TRL and saw how chocked up guys were!! I hope that A.J. gets better so he can get back.. I took alot for him to come out and say he has a problem, I saw my brother have to go through it and it wasn't easy.. So GOOD LUCK A.J.!!! Best Wishes to all of you.. I really am at lost for words at what has happened. I heard the news on the radio, and I was very shaken up. I am NOT mad at you or any of the guys, all I want is for you to be happy again, whatever it takes. Id rather not see you in concert then have something horibble happen to you. If anyone makes fun of your situation, dont mind them, we all love you very much and we care for you, too, AJ. Please keep God with you and you WILL get through it, Ive gotten through a lot of things, and so can you. You will see, everything is going to be ok, maybe not now, but soon enough everything will start to pick up again. I know losing a loved one is hard, but you will see your grandma again some day, and Im sure she is watching down on you telling you not to cry for her, letting you know she loves you and she wants you to be happy, not sad. So AJ, my thoughts and prayers are with you, and I hope you have a speedy recovery! Also, good luck to the other four, I'll be praying for you, too. Be strong, be brave, be there. AJ--Where do I start? Let me just say I love you and I hope you are feeling better soon...
I got home from work yesterday I knew immediately something was wrong when i saw my mom's face. She told me the concert i was supposed to go to today had been postponed. At first i was upset but then realized that it had to be something serious because i know how dedicated you guys are to your work and you wouldn't cancel a tour for anything unless it was very serious. So i began to worry, i knew it couldn't have been just because of nick's hands...When i saw the other guys on trl i was just praying you would be beside brian and they just didn't zoom out far enough...but i started crying as soon as i saw you weren't there and couldn't imagine what was wrong...i heard kevin say what the problem was and i was shocked, but relived that you are seeking help before anything happened. It hurt me so much to see all the sadness in your eyes when singing the song that you wrote, but it really did help me to see what you are going through. I know there are already 120 pages of messages to you on this site, so you probably won't have a chance to read this, but I just wanted to add my message to the list so you can see just how many people you have that admire you and are waiting for you to recover. We will support you all the way and can't wait for you to get back to the good ol' AJ we all know and love. I'll see you on september 9th!

Aj,Although you don't know who I am ((but a huge fan!)), I would love to see you smiling again.
Just recently, I had experienced a similar problem like yours, my grandfather passed away and it felt like millions of knives targeted my heart and slashed it into pieces. It was horrible. I thought life couldn't get any better. I went days hiding in my room all alone, crying 'til my eyeballs gone red. To this day, I remembered him for who he was and what he did for me. He was a big part of me which I will always cherish. Being there and loving me is all I needed and he will be forever in my heart.
There may be nothing that I say that will convince you, but praying and love is all I can give. The rest is up to you. Try to make it through, it will never be the same, but it will be alright. You're very lucky because there are so many people in this world who cares for you and wishing you the best. As long as you admitted that you need help, you are half way there.
This is life, it can suck, but we just have to roll with it.

I was totaly shocked when I heard the news. I heard it on a local radio station kiss92 last night before my soccer game. I feel that it was good For AJ to ask for the help he needed and now all we can do is hope for the best. I hope this will come out great. I hope AJ will be alright. Hey AJ! I was very shocked when i heard that u had to undergo treatment. I know its kinda late, but i am very sorry for the loss of your grandmother, too. I lost my little brother back in '93 when he was 5 years old and I know how rough it can be. But anyways, my thoughts and prayers are with you, the other BSBs, and your family. I know u will get through this because i have a lot of faith in you and i have a tremendous amount of respect for u. Take care of yourself!
