Dear sweet Aj. I just want to say that I think that was one the bravest things you could ever do for yourself. YOu may have a serious problem , but to come on live tv and tell the world took guts and love. You are a classy guy and you had enough love for us as the fans to let us know you have a problem. You are a true role model, you may inspire others with the same problem to come forward. I don't look down on you at all, I wish you a speedy recovery and hope to hear your sweet sensual voice again, and see you on stage with your brothers who love you just the same. To backstreet boys: I what classy men you guys are. DEspite the fact that we could see how hurt you are by this, you all brave men to come foward and be honest to us about what has happend to your band mate. You have showed us that you really care for one another and it's not all about record sales, and videos. You are all like family to each other, brothers and the love you all have for each other is clealy seen, I wish all the best for you backstreet boys you are human beings gentlemen, and I know you will all come out of this stronger than before. all my love belle

Alexander James,When I heard the news I was shocked..I knew you liked to drink (you named your puppy jack daniels after all)but I didn't know it was this severe. Then after several minutes of disbelief..I realized something..he's the one who realized he had a problem..and like Brian said you can't help someone until they want to help themselves. So AJ right there proves how much of a man you are for telling someone "I have a problem and I need help". And I know when you get out of rehab in 30 days you'll be a better man for it. And i'll pray for you everyday just like I did when I first heard the news. GOODLUCK and when you come to Denver August 22nd look for the sign that says "I SUPPORT ALEXANDER JAMES"

Dear A.J.It takes a real man to admit something that's been an issue for quite sometime. I want you to know that there are hundreds of millions of fans who are out there supporting you 100%. I want you and the rest of the BSB to know that you guys take all the time you need. You are all in my prayers and God is with you. A.J. will be better in no time because i know you are very strong and even though this is a tough time for you, you will get through it. AJ I am sooooooo proud of you for getting help!! I am praying for you every night until you get out of rehab. I know that you are going to be just fine. You are a very very strong person, you can do this. You also have the support of so many people. So you can get through this. You've already gotten through the most difficult part of this: admitting you have a problem, and that you need help. I know the rest won't be easy, but as long as you think good thoughts, you can do this. I support you 100 percent, and I've got your back. When the press starts saying crap about you, I'm gonna write to them and cuss em out, k? :-) So just focus on getting better, and everything's gonna be fine. I luv ya Bone!!!!!!!!

Dang! Look at all the letters of support. It just shows that we love you and are glad that you are getting help. It takes a lot of guts to say what you said to the guys and to check yourself in. You are lucky to have those 4 friends to support you and your mom. I hope to see you at the now September 20 show in Detroit.

Dear A. J.,
As a fan of many years I have prayed for you and your four brothers
since the first day I fell in love with your harmonious music. Ever since
then, I have gotten to know each and every one of you from far away, watching
you on TV and reading about you in articles. I've never gotten the chance to
meet you although it is my dream to do so. When I heard about your
situation, like many others I was very upset and worried. I've been through
the same thing and I know that when depression sets in it's painful to even
go outside, let alone perform for millions of people. I think you are so
awesome and so incredibly special and I respect you 100% in your decision to
get help. It takes a strong man to admit when he needs help and you are
courageous and very strong for doing so. I know you need your space and
time to think and find yourself again and I pray that God will assist you and
help you get through this. Please don't ever forget that your four brothers
love you very much and that they stand by you no matter what. They love you
for the person you are, not because you sing and dance and write songs, but
because you are a human being with real capabilities and real talent and real
love. They all support you and so do your fans. We all want you to take as
much time as you need to get better and healthy again. We all have trials in
our life and God allows them to makes us stronger people. Remember that for

hang in there aj! i was diagnosed as clinically depressed when i was 16, i am now 22. it can only get better from here on out! the fans do not care about cancelled tour dates...we care about your health and your life! shot outs to the rest of the guys! the fans are here for you always! dont forget that "as long as you have us, you can conquer anything"...even this! we are here for you and appreciate your honosty! and remember aj....god will never put more on you than you can bear! god bless! lots of love,
