Well, A.J. I am a Mom Fan, my daughter and I have been following you guys for a long time now, about 4 years, and I commend you on your decision to enter rehab, my daughter has gone thru it with her father, my x husband, it took alot of courage for you and the other guys to come forward and make this announcement, I wish you the best and you do have true fans who know what a very bad illness this is and take all the time you need to truly heal, and be with your family and friends, and keep god in your heart and you will be fine.. we are going to see you guys in St louis on the 26th, but we will truly understand if you need more time.. you and your health are the most important.. right now.. we love you and you are in our prayers and thoughts

To the very Special Alex (AJ) McLean,
I am 16 yrs. old and have had a terrible case of depression for about 7 yrs.
I have always been a huge fan of you and the rest of the backstreet boys.
You all are so special. You are what keeps me going. When I hear your
beautiful voices and handsome faces i become the happiest person alive.
Trust me if i can get through it you definitely can. I believe in you. Just
remember you are not alone. I have dropped out of school this past school
year. But i decided i was not gonna let depression ruin my future, so i have
started back at a new school. I have been to 5 of you alls concerts in North
Carolina and they really brought my spirits up. I am probably gonna be on
medication for the rest of my life. But you all inspire me and that is the reason
i still have hope for myself. I believe in you and me. Good Luck!

i just wanted to say get well soon babe. and i know that you can do it jut have confidence. and i love you and i need you to get better so i can see you up on stage singing and dancing and having fun like you all ways do. but take as long as you need because i want you to be the same aj of course i will be worried about you until you get out. i will be praying for you babe.

Ajiggity!Wussup man? I am soooooo excited to see you in T.O!!!! I have my tickets all hidden away, and I have a huge sign and a few stuffed animals with letters on them! I hope they actually get to you! You have given me so much hope for the future (you know what I mean, with this whole cancer thing) and you have made me look at life in totally different light!
