Even though us fans have been through a lot, it's your turn to be strong and come back as a REAL Backstreet Boy. I have been through a lot: Depression and thoughts of suicide. I tried to kill myself and then I realized, the music you guys gave out cheered me up. I changed my ways, but there are still naive ppl who are narrow-minded and ignorant. It's even harder to be black in this world, but anyways, AJ, I know you can go through this and be strong. Knowing your nature, you can go through this and come out a different person. The guys need you and the fans care about you. We are still in shock and in tears. Some are breaking down and don't know what to do, but you know what? But i read what had happened on MTVNEWs.com. I was toally heatbroken, sad, hurt,shocked, confused...all of the above. How could something like this happen to someone who does nothing but bring poeple happiness? I am glad however to see that he is seeking help. That is the first step to getting better. I know he will get better and he will be stronger and happier than ever. There are millions of people all over the world who love and support him no matter what. It hurts me because these boys and their music have done nothing but change my life and make me happy,and now they're all hurting, and it sux that i can't reach them to let them know that they are in my prayers always, and they are truly doing so much for so many people. And they put themseleves on the line just to do something they love. And as much as it would hurt me, if it means that the Backstreet Boys will have to take a long break to make things better, they should do it. Worry about Aj first, group second. As a person, you are entitled to have your own struggles. As a "Backstreet Boy", you have to be perfect. You have to maintain an image of being a boy-next-door type. You have always thrown that image out of the door with you're numerous tattoos, and wild & funky style. Many people don't understand, and just like Nick said this morning on 93.3 flz, that there is the constant road life, un-normal relationships and hardships that you must go through. I personally don't know how that must feel, but i do know that it must be hard for you. Many people think that depression is a joke. It's not, i have been through it, and i still go through it everyday of my life, i just don't speak up about it. You're guys music helps me through it a little bit, day-by-day. It takes guts and courage and strength to do what you did, by admitting that you have a problem and that you need help. I think that even when you do get out of your treatment, you should take off for a while, get out of that life. It's all you've known for almost a decade. If all the stress and problems are too much, then just take a break. I for one, even though most won't agree with me, would rather see an end to the backstreet boys, than to see an end to your life. I hope and pray that you have the strength and the courage to fight each battle day by day, and know that you're not alone.
