How should I start.. Well, A.J, you are definitly my hero. I compliment you on evrything you have done by facing up to your problems and being true to your fans and yourself. You may not have realized it, but you have made a HUGE impact on so many people in this world. You have millions of fans praying for you every night and day. I have recently recovered from going through the pain of my father's death. He died from lung cancer and today has been the first day I have cried in months because I feel your pain. I just want to let you know that I love you dearly and that God is with you, and so are your bandmates and family and us, the fans. I hope to see you soon @ the Edmonton concert. Godbless, Peace.

AJ, when i heard about what happened to you i was so sad. I know what you're goin through, and just so you know, you are not alone. i myself have had hardships, and believe me, they have been hard. There were days that i thought that the day just wouldnt finish. I contimplated on takin my life, but what stopped me was just knowin that i have people that love me, and care for me too much to leave them. So, as you are recoverin, just think this. Even though you may think that u cant fight the battle, just think of your family, friends, and fans, and hopefully that will push you to victory. We all love you. And let god touch your soul, and take it where it should be. I love you always, til my dyin day.

*EVERYONE PLEASE READ THIS***********Hi. When we heard about AJ, we felt awful. The first concert they postponed in Boston was one that we had tickets to, but when we found out why it was postponed, we were glad to hear that AJ was getting help. Then, we decided to do something to show AJ that he has the support of the fans. We did this by designing a website devoted to our idea that until AJ is release from rehab(August 7Th) we would wear bandanas like he does. It is a way to honor AJ in his time of distress. And maybe, AJ will hear about it and be inspired to get better! I just want to say I look up to you a lot. I was very upset when I heard the news and couldn't believe it, but I was also happy for you. It takes a lot of courage to come out and say that you have a problem. I’m very proud to be a fan. I will stay behind you and the Boys 100% which I’m sure other fans are doing the same. AJ,
I heard about your problem yesterday and fell into tears. And as I have read in others' letters they usually don't cry about this certian thing, but you, you have a problem and went right in to fight the battle. I give you my hopes and prayers to come back with your very respected bandmates who also love and cherish you. If you could only see their faces on the screen, their red teared eyes, as with your beloved fans. And again, I wish you the luck and strength that my heart can only give.

this Best Wishes come from far away. I really hope you get to read this, and i really hope you get to recover from your problems. I woke up this morning with a call from my friend Carol. She's a huge fan of yours ( as myself) and by her tone of voice i could notice she wasn't ok. When she told me the reason, i was somewhere between shocked and deeply sad. I just couldn't believe. Two months before, i had seen Bone dancing and getting jiggy on a concert, the first one they did on Brazil. That was the best day of my life. Now i know those days you were already down, and if only i knew... If i could only hug you, like all of us want now, and tell you i'm there for you. The only thing i can say is written on this letter. I truly hope you recover. Cause that's not you: the AJ we know and love is the happy and prankster one. You guys once said the backstreet fans are the best one in the world. I say you five are the best people i know in this world. It's really like i know you, like you were someone very close to me, and that's because i care about you so much and i truly hope you make it through this. You're the one who helped me and all of the fans through hard moments. Now it's our time to help you, and we will. I'll be praying for you everyday, with a smile on my face. I am not going to tell you that I know what you are going through. I have experienced some death in my family(People that were close to me). I think it was very brave by admitting that you have a problem and wanting to get help. Your fans know that you are human and we are all praying for you. Just a little something to take with you forever "Don't worry about tomorrow it will take care of itself. Worrying will not change anything, Worrying will only make it worse."

I was surprised when I heard about AJ, but I am happy that he was able to see that he had a problem and that he was able to check into a rehab. That shows that he wants to get well and go back on tour for the fans. I hope he recovers and gets well soon
