first of all I have to say that I love you and support you 100%. I am so glad that you made the choice of getting better over finishing the tour unhappy. I know with all of my heart that you WILL get better, because all of the fans and everyone LOVES YOU SO MUCH AND BELIEVES IN YOU COMPLETELY. There is no doubt that you will overcome this and be a stronger and better person because of it.
The road is long and hard but believe and you will make it. Remember, obstacles are those scary things that you see once you take your eyes off your goal. So stay focused and even if you stray from the path you had intended to take you will accomplish new goals on the way and be a better person and new person when you are through.

I cried so much when I heard that you are going to be rehab for depression and alcohol abuse. But I'm very happy that you admited the problem which is the biggest step ever, but you have conquered that step. I really hope you get better. Actually I know you will because you are a Backstreet Boy and Backstreet Boys have been through a lot, but everything turns out for the best. Please take as long as you want to make your self better, because I don't want anything bad to happen to you. Also I'm really sorry that your grandmother passed away recently.I and as well as all the other backstreet fans will pray for you, the other guys and that God should look after your grandmother in heaven. Remember AJ, the BSB fans will always love you no matter what and we all hope you get better.God Bless you AJ.

I don't know if AJ is going to read this, but I guess it's something for the other fans to read.First of all, I'm so proud of AJ for having the courage to admit to himself that he has a problem, and to be brave enough to seek help. We will sleep better at night knowing that AJ is getting the care and treatment that he needs. He shouldn't have to worry about pleasing his fans at a time like this: he can rest assured that we will support him and the rest of the Backstreet Boys through this tough time, and we will continue to support him until he gets better. I want to let AJ know that I have faith in him and I believe that he can overcome this if he really sets his mind and heart to it. Secondly, I offer my support to the Boys as well. I can't even begin to imagine the kind of pain, sadness and stress they must be going through right now. But I want to let them know that they did the right thing by being honest with the fans. They don't need to worry about pleasing the fans, as with AJ. We will be behind them a hundred percent of the way. After all, Backstreet fans are the best fans there are in the world!!! Lastly, to all the fans around the world, this is a trying time for the Backstreet Boys. We should take advantage of this unfortunate situation to band together as a group to be strong for them when they cannot be strong themselves. So let's get together and show them the support that they need! Everyone has their ups and downs, and this is one of the Backstreet Boys' downs. Hi my name is Annie, i'm 16 years old. Anyway i just wanted to tell you that even though i didin't know about what happened untill one of my online friends told me about it, that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families both BSB and your immediate family. Now i don't know exactly what your going through but for what it's worth i'm very proud of you for having the courage to admit that you have a problem, i know that probably wasn't easy but you knew that you had a problem and you knew that you needed help and i admire your courage.
And as for Aj's family my prayers are with you, the BSB family, as well as with aj. Right now you have to be strong for aj, you have to show him as well as telling him that you believe in him and that he can fight this like we all know that he can.
And for the rest of the BSB, i have a special message for all of you. Kevin; you have been the rock that keeps the group going through every thing that happens, my words of advice to you is that you all need that rock to hold you together, you as the oldest of the group need to be strong for the other guys and think positive. to Nick; I heard that you got a little teary eyed on TRL and i understand that but don't worry he will get through this, he's strong enough. To Brian; my favorite BSB[sorry aj but your on the list] Don't worry about aj, he's a fighter you know that, he will get through this. Right now u need to help your cousin to be strong, cause i heard that you were the peacemaker of the group and i know u can do it. And Howie; This has to be one of the hardest things for you considering aj is your best friend, but like i said before aj WILL get better and all you and the others have to do is put your faith in god and he'll take care of everything.
Oh and aj one more thing, in order for you to get better you need to know one thing, don't get better for anyone else but yourself. Not the fans, not your friends nobody just do it for you k?.

I want ot let all of you know how much you mean to me. I wish there was something I could do to make your pain go away. Whether you know it or not, you have been there for me in so many ways when I've been down. You have so positively affected my life. I have/am battling depression so I know the kind of hell you are going through. What people don't realize, is depression is a serious illness and if not treated, it consumes you. People say "It's just in your head." Well, yes it is in your head, but it's not something you have any control over. I too had to be admitted in the hospital for three weeks for my depression. This is a hard thing to deal with and thank God A.J. has you to help see him through. I hope you all realize how respected you are for the choice you have made to come forward with the truth about A.J. You all are so special and mean so much to so many people. The fact that you are hurting has made us fans come together and try so hard to show our love and support. We want the world to know just how special all of you are. In our hearts, you aren't "just another boy band". You are our joy and our happiness. I pray that God will watch over you and keep all of you safe during this. dear aj, first off i wanna thank you for you and the rest of bsb for inspiring me all these years. you're my inspiration. when i saw kev, brian, howie & nick on TRL announce the whole thing. i sure broke down. it hurts me inside that you're depressed and feel this way. you're so much of an important person to me, so it pretty much kills me knowing that you aren't happy. then again, i'm really happy that you're trying to get help and not avoiding this. i've been through, a little depression i guess with my parents fighting and like my grandparents dieing & constant thoughts of wanting to hurt myself sometimes, but your music has always cheered me up. also it's really great u came out and the boys announced it, because i know you knew that these losers out there, who i don't even categorize as human beings, will crack jokes on this. that shows that they have no respect for people or for themselves. i think you should take more time off then only 30 days to get everything together and your feelings and family. your health and well-being is more important than your career. i love you aj, and i'll be thinking about you every day.

I knew there was something wrong. As I sat there and listened to what they were saying I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I was in tears when you sang your song.
