Hi my name is Kelsey! I am a big fan of the Backstreet Boys! you are one of my favorites! I heard about what happened to you and I feel so sorry for you! Last night i cried just thinking is AJ going to come back? Is he going to be ok? I had a million questions running through my head! Because AJ I never thought I could love someone I never meet, but when I get feelings for you and the boys they are diffrent and way stronger then any person I ever met. Your music just makes me think you guys are singing to me, your voices make such a great sound I can't explain. AJ I just hope you can make throughout your problems and I hope you have success throughout your life!! I'm a 42 yr. old female with two teenage daughter's. They introduced me to The Backstreet Boys. In no time at all I to was a BIG fan.
I was saddened to hear of your problems but , we all face things like that in our lives. Sometimes there are people that can deal with it and then there are those of us that need some help!
I fully commend you for stepping forward and admitting that you have a problem that you needed help with! You are setting a GREAT example for all of your fans and other people. I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know you will work hard to get better and be back on top in no time! The very best of luck to you and remember , KTBSPA!

You have always been my favorite Backstreet Boy and you always will. Even though I have never met you, I love you so much..I really mean it. I have so much respect for you and honestly. At first when I heard about the news, I was so upset and began to cry but then I thought about how much guts you had to admit that you had a problem and that you needed help, not many people can do that even without being in the spotlight and media and because of thatI have gained even more respect for you. All your fans are right here supporting you and we can't wait to hear your beautiful voice again once you are all better. First of all I would like to say that I have been a fan of the Backstreet Boys for the longest time. You are all amazing singers, dancers, and preformers and I love all you guys and your music. Please get better AJ, because your fans need you. We all want you to get better, because what you are going through right now is terrible, but we understand. We don't want to see you sick or hurt, and we don't like to see the rest of the guys upset about anything. Watching them on T.V telling us that you were going into rehab was terrible, they way they were choked up about it. I was choked up about it too because you are an AMAZING person and sooo many people love you...Your Family, Friends, the Guys, and of course your Fans. PLEASE get better! No one wants to see you upset or sick...we all want to see you better, and I know that you WILL get better. We ALL know you will!

Alex,I want you to know that is possible to come through this. I know that this point in time it might seem impossible to see the light, but it will soon appear. How do I know this? Because I have been through what you are going through. The only difference is that my your alcohol was food for me. I suffered from severe depression and an eating disorder.
Please Please take this time to heal yourself. Don't worry about the career or what others might think of you. This is a time for you to develop yourself. Do realize that we will be here when all is said and done and though you may not be able to hear us...we are cheering for you, we are praying for you, and we are always in your corner. Alex, you are stronger than you realize at this moment, but that strength is what will shine in the end and you will be and even better person than you were when you went in. You had the courage to come forth and say "I need help" that means something in my eyes and in the eyes of others. Maybe know that you can make it through will help others to get the help that they need. This isn't negative, this is another lesson in life. Please do not think we look down on you for this...we only admire you more for being strong enough to not hide this problem. WE LOVE YOU ALEX AND ALWAYS WILL!!!!

I'd just like Aj to know that what ever he decides to do to get better I fully support him. He shouldn't be touring if he's not well and needs help I'm just glad he asked for help before it became to serious.
The fans i think have to remember that Aj and the rest of the guys are going to need a lot of support and love right now and they need us now more than ever to show them that no matter what we the fans will always be there.
I have no dout in my mind Aj will get better and they will start touring again we just have to make sure we don't presure him to much and have such high expectations of the boys there human just like us and break down when there is to much presure to be perfect.

hi a.j. i just wanted to write again cause i just read the boston heareld and they put "backstreet boozer" on the front cover. they should get there facts straight,cause there making you seem like a bad guy when you arent,so just annore them and focus on getting better in rehab.me and all the rest of the fans cant wait till you get better.like i said before you made me so happy when you pointed at me at the saturday concert in boston,and it makes me so sad that the man that i love and has made me so happy isnt happy,but i know you will be happy soon.a.j. you will be in my prayers,and rember so many people care about you,the fans,the guys,and your family,and you make them so happy,just like how you made me happy.get better soon and god bless you,the guys,and your family love,

The first thing I want to say is that I have NEVER!!! been more proud to be a BSB fan than I am now. The way thay showed us fans the love and respect by being so very honest with us is so Incredible!!!!! My prayers and best wishes, heart, soul and mind is with AJ and his family during this time. AJ is already a winner because the first step is admitting the problem and getting help for it. There are plenty of people out there that are going through the same or similar situations and if by AJ admitting his problem saves one life then there is some good that has been done.
The way that Kevin, Brian, Howie, and Nick came out and shared their emotions and concerns with us, makes me adore them more than I thought I could. This should prove as an example to everyone that these Men who give us great performances and magnificent music are human and need as much love and support as we do.

AJ,It's hard for me to express in writing what I'm feeling on the inside. I'm so proud of you for taking the first step and going to get help. That makes you such a great person because you know how to help yourself. I know that there is no way I can fully empathize with you, but let me say that I can. For several years I have been fighting episodes of depression, low self-esteem, and anxiety. Because of you and the rest of the Backstreet Boys, I have overcome a severe nervous breakdown, my depression episodes have reduced greatly, and gradually my self-esteem is building. Six out of seven mornings, I hear the alarm and wonder why I should get up and live. Then I roll over and see your poster and I know why. Because if I don't, I won't be able to listen to your music anymore. It sounds kinda selfish, and maybe it is. But everything I do is inspired by you. You've unknowingly given me the strength to be who I am and what I want to be and to succeed. I fully believe that you are my angel sent from God. I know you can make it through this because you want to. You have millions upon millions of supporters, and each of us is praying double and triple for you and the rest of the group. The most important thing is that you get better. Your health is more important at this point than any tour or album. Because if you're not healthy, you can't continue to make the music that has won over millions of hearts. Dear Lord, I know that I have strayed from you, and have not been as strong a Christian as I could be. But you have given me an awakening, making me realize that without you I can do nothing. It is with a devoted, loving heart that I come to you tonight. Father God, I thank you for the Backstreet Boys. I thank you for giving AJ the chance to recognize his problem and come to you for help. Place your gentle, loving, healing hand upon him and help him through this period of tribulation. Surround him with your angels and protect him from the evil ones who are going to try to keep him from healing. Lord Jesus, give him the strength and the will to want to get better and return to doing what he loves. I also pray for the rest of the Boys, their families, friends, and the fans that they will find their strength in You during this time. Dear AJ:
I just want to tell that youīre a great person and I donīt know what happened to you, I think that this is just a problem in your life and that soon we will see you again making us happy, Iīm your biggest fan and I donīt like to see you like this.
Thatīs not the AJ that I know, the AJ that Iīve admired (and I still do) is so strong and do all for his fans, so donīt do it more because, well first is bad for your health and second it hurts all your fans.
I know that thereīs nobody in tihs world that can be perfect but the only thing that we want is that you think about it and I want you to know that I love you, and well I donīt live in USA but over here you have a lot of fans and I will always be with you, I know that maybe Iīm never going to meet you in person but thatīs my dream and I hope to make it reality.
When the BSB came here to Mexico I was sure that I would meet you but I didnīt and that huts me a lot, Iīm trying to say that in this world all the people have problems and they enter in depression, there are many ways to get out of the problems, is the good way and the bad way and it depends of tha person to take the correct way, well thatīs my opinion and I hope that you complete your treatment the necesary time, another thing is that you never forget the love that all your fans have to you, anytime that you get depresed remember your fans.
