AJ,
Even though I know you won't read this, I just wanted to say how much I love you and I know how you feel. I was once a child alcoholic with severe depression and anxiety. That was 6 six ago and I now am 18. I don't smoke or drink anymore. I never went anywhere for my problem and to get over it was the worst thing. I also wanted to say how much your music has alwayz been there for me and how much it means to me. You guys saved my life, especially you, AJ. Thank You.

Hey AJ,
I just want to let you know you are in my Heart and my Prayers. You can do it AJ have faith and I am behind you 100% all I want from you is for you to get better and be Happy again.
I am so proud of you AJ as it took alot of guts to admit you had a problem and that you needed help. I have nothing but admiration for you AJ and I just hope you are OK.

My prayers are with you and you are already a winner in my eyes because you told the group that you need some help and that is the best thing you could have done.I'll be their to support you anyway I can.You have a long way to recovery but as long as you have a postive out look and if you think postive about the situation you will survive and recover.Don't let any one or thing get in the way of you beating this.I'll love you to the end and I also know that you are human and we all make to stupid mistakes that have serious affects on us.

Dear AJ , I just wanted to take the time to say I am proud of you for reconizing you have a problem and for getting help before it is to late. Us Backstreet Fan were put into shock on July 9th when we found out you has admitted yourself to rehab for Alcohol and Depression. I knwo where you are coming from because I have delt with manic depression in the past and it was a hard time for me but it was the backstreet boys and your music that kept me strong. Before I leave I would like to say " STAY STRONG AN KNOW THAT GOD IS WITH YOU THROUGH ALL THIS " Until next time I see you in concert remember to KTBSPAF, You are in my thoughts and prayers and I am wiht you 100%

when i heard this i was in shock "no not aj not alex its not true" i kept saying.but it is and i hope aj makes a full recovey.he's not alone i know all to well what its like to suffer from depression,and am very glad he chose to seek help.as for the achol problem i pray it gets better. i will pray form him every night and day, and am couting down the days till he gets out. A.J. IF U EVER SEE THIS I WONT U TO KNOW U HAVE MILLIONS OF FANS THAT LOVE U WITH ALL THEIR HEARTS AND CARE ABOUT U A LOT.I'M GLAD U GOT HELP.BEST WISHES AND LOTS OF LOVE.

First of all we all know you can do this. You are very brave in admitting that you have a problem, and that is the first step on the road to recovery. i know how it feels to be depressed but i can only think of what a.j. is going through. i know how it feels to have a drinking problem and i'm really happy that he's man enough to get treated for it. more then ever, i respect the rest of the backstreet boys for being brave enough to speak of it on trl and telling the truth and not lie to the fans. i pray for the boys and aj and even if it takes him a year to get fully better, i know all the bsb fans will support him. i love him to pieces and i want him to get better and not worry about the tour. i would like to speak on behalf of the bsb fans in laredo that we'll pray for him and the boys. please get better aj! we love you.

Aj. I am a little girl that just wants to say that I hope you feel better and that i think rehab is probably the best place you could be right now. I saw that Nick wasn't even talking on TRL and after a while Kevin wouldn't speak a lot because he got a little choked up. There is nothing more painful than losing someone near and dear to your heart. I just recently lost my grandfather who ment so much to me, almost exactly one month after your grandmother. It was the worst thing that could've happened when it did, but the one thing I always remember was that he's no longer hurting and he will still ALWAYS be with me.
Don't let things bring you down. Always remember that everything happens for a reason. There are so many people who love you and support you and will never let you down. Those 4 guys you've known for the last 9 years are always going to be there. It takes guts to do what you did; admitting you had a problem, and I, along with so many others have the utmost respect for you because of that. Sharing your problems with those you trust, can only help. Thank you for not hiding your problems. You're a human being like everyone else, and there is nothing wrong with asking for help. With help you can only get stronger. You are in my prayers and I hope you get better soon. Take all the time you need, just get better!

Hey! I hope you'll get better. The way you can better is thinking what you and your grandam did. Please stop what your doing.I know how you feel,but the thing is that I lost a friend that I liked. I wanted to kill my self, but I couldn't. I realized that I have to go on with my life. Your grandma will always be there by your side just like your friends and fans. She'll be watching you. She'll protect you too. You have to have faith in your self.Don't lose that faith. Alot of fans would go crazy if you didn't get well.I well pray to god,to Jesuse tell them you need help.I'll cry every night to see if my praiers got answer.And achol is not the way to get better.Talking to your friends or fami;y is the right way.If you start with achol you'll end up being an acholick. And Nick,Brain,Howie, and Kevin take care of A.J. because my friend will not stop being sad. When A.J. gets better e-mail.I love you guys very much. Let god be with you till the end.
