Hi, my name is Verônica, I'm 13 years old, I live in Brazil and I'm writing AJ, simply to tell you to trust God, just make this and you can believe that you soon will be better and I want you to know the to happen to happen, be where you are, I will always be asking God for yours
happiness, sometimes, the life show for us things that we don't like, things that we think
wrong, but with the time everything is solved, can be that you never read this
but in my heart, when I close my eyes and remember you, I know
even with so many and so many kilometers of distance, I know that you can feel my love, it can to seem madness, but I know that I would make any thing to see you happy, do you know why?? because when I was sad, thinking nothing else was worthwhile, when I was
wanting to disappear of the world, you, Brian, Nick, Kevin and Howie, same so far
they made to see me that the life in spite of everything is very good and that will always be beside me, you gave me forces to struggle against the solitude,for you, I cannot make difference, but I want at least to be calm in knowing that tried to do you to feel better same almost time. , please, think about that and remember that you are and will always be very important for me!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!! PS- you know.... you did a show here in Brazil, in São Paulo city, on May 5
do you know how many days I was in the line?? 27 days!!!!! did I sleep 26 there nights,
I passed cold, hunger, fatigue, interest, I almost died, but do you know what meke me to support all ????

The BSB are my life, just to show how much i love them i am sending my best wishes because they deserve the best in this world. They are good people, they have been true with their fans and that´s what i love about them. A.J. you are a great human being, you show so much energy and happyness don´t let the sadness get to you, i know that with the help of your friends and with their love you´ll win this battle .
i´ll pray for you and for the boys always because is the least i can do as a thank you for giving me another reason to be alive.

AJ, I really don't know what could make this begin, but it's good that you're receiving treatment now and not after a car accident or something like that. I totally support you in this rehab and wish the best for you, Bone! We all in Venezuela love you! Te queremos mucho!

AJ,
I don't know exactly what you're going through,but all i know is that i'm extreamly happy that you went to get help. I know that this must be a hard time for you, but you do know that you have your family, friends and especially us fans here for you. Now i know some of us fans can't exactly be there with you to help you along the way, but you're in our hearts and in our prayers and we know you're gonna make it through this. It's an AWESOME thing that you admitted you had a problem and went to get help, most people cant' admit it and some don't even think they have a problem. It won't be a fast and easy task but you'll get through it. We believe you will. We're rooting you on every step of the way and can't wait to see you back. Love you lots!!

Although I haven't read all of these entries, I'm sure we all have the same thing to say. It hurt us when we found out; not because we won't see you guys in concert, but because you must be in more pain then any of us could ever imagine.
I don't think any of us will ever truly know what you've gone through, but we do completely support you. People make mistakes, and it takes a strong indivual to change, or prevent any more 'mistakes' to happen. When I first heard about the circumstances, I can honestly say that I cried. I cried because I was naive and thought that nothing like this would ever happen. I was wrong. But it just show people, and myself, that you are a real person. Not just a teenheart throb. And everyone's got their problems.

Dear AJ, I 'm so sorry for everything you are going through.I am 24 and my dad had a really bad drinking problem too.It only leads to even greater problems, it doesn't solve anything.I grew up in it and I watched it tear our family apart.I really do LOVE YOU! So very much!I sincerely feel that you did the right thing.I am so proud of you honey.You are a wonderful talented person, don't let this ruin your life,be true to yourself baby.WE LOVE YOU!

Dear Alex;
I hope you actually get to read this because I have some fairly decent things to say and becasue I want to Thank You.
My then 14 year old daughter "dragged" me to one of your concerts a couple of years ago and I have been a fan ever since. And I mean a big time fan!!! Your music makes me feel young, happy and alive! Plus you've given my daughter and I so many great times together. We see as many concerts as we can get tickets to and we've managed to catch a few of your appearances on CBS & NBC. We had so much fun standing on the sidewalks of Manhattan through the night just to enjoy your performance. We saw you just last week on the Today Show. As a matter of fact, you read the sign I was holding. It said: "AJ, This old broad thinks your hot!" I know you read it becasue I saw your lips move, then you laughed and waved to me. Believe it or not, you made my day. And I thank you for that. And my daughter, who couldn't believe I would do such a thing, was impressed. Years from now she'll tell my grandchildren what a nut their grandmother was and how much fun we had going to BSB concerts together. You and BSB have created some great memories for us to share. And I thank you for that too. Now I'm going to stop being a fan and I am going to be a mother. This past Feb., we saw you at Nassau Colisseum. We were lucky enough to get floor seats right next to the circle stage in the middle. By the way, the show was GREAT. But being that close, I realized how difficult it must be to be you. While you were actually performing, you were fine. But when you had to just sit on the edge, your eyes looked so sad, scared and almost confused. As if you couldn't figure out why all these people were pushing, shoving and screaming your name. As a Mom, I wanted to run up there and tell you everything would be alright. I wanted to tell you, you deserved the adoration. You're an entertainer who does his job well. That's why they love you.and then I thought how difficult it must be to have everything and nothing at the same time. You have enough money to do basically whatever you want but too much fame to do things freely. Let's face it, it mustn't be easy to disguise yourself. Most stars can put on sun glasses and a hat, but those are AJ's trademarks. What were you thinking? It must also get tough trying to figure out who your friends are. And why people want to be your friend. You must think, does anyone really want to know Alex or do they all just want to hang around AJ. It must be very lonely and my heart goes out to you. I think only Elvis and the Beatles would know what's it's like to have that much fame and frenzy around you all the time. I certainly don't and I would never pretend I did. But I believe you can survive it. You're too young and have so much life ahead of you. You can do this. Look what you've been able to accomplish in just 23 years. MOST people don't accomplish 1/10th of what you have in a lifetime. No one can get to where you are in your career without talent, focus and determination. Now draw on those qualities that you absolutely have to help yourself enjoy the rest of your life. And if it means no more BSB that's OK. Would I miss BSB? Of course!!! (We do have tickets to 3 more concerts) And yeah people will lose money. So what. Those same people will make money some other way. They did before BSB and they will after BSB. What's important is your health and well being. Don't worry about everyone else. Worry about Alex. Take care of Alex. I wish you the strenght to make it over this hurdle. Good luck.

What is there for me to say that has not already been said? I think it takes a real man to admit when he has a problem, and I admire you for that. You are not alone in this fight at all; your fans, family, and bandmates are behind you. The road to recovery is a long one, but I know you are gonna make it. You already took the BIGGEST STEP of all admitting to your problem and wanting to get help for it. For as much as I would've like to see you perfrom this Saturday, your health is much more important. Take all the time u need to get better and your fans will always be there to supports u. I'm willing to wait as long as you can get better. So GET BETTER SOON!!!
