Aj, if you get to read any of this, we are praying for you every day. We all love you very much. I was so devasted when i heard the news. I was in shock! But i'm glad your getting the help you need. Take all the time you need to get yourself well & back on your feet. I'm sorry it had to come down to this but i hope all of us fans help you get better real soon. When my mom heard the song you were singing on the bus, she started to cry. She really felt for you. We could tell there was something wrong. We have tickets to see you next month but if you can't make it, that's o.k. We just want you to take care of yourself & get better soon. Your health is more important than anything. Your video was #3 on Monday, by Tuesday it was at #1 by all of us fans. We will continue to try & keep it at #1 for you. You guys rock & are the best group around! You deserve the time off cuz you guys work so hard at everything for us. So we want to try & give you something back. Let us know if you need anything & we will try & help out. I just wanted to express my feelings about this situation. When I first heard the news I was in total awe. I was so shocked but at the same time I was glad. It made me happy to see that you've been brave enough to admit that you have a problem and go seek help. Please remember that your fans,bandmates,and family will always be here to support you. We all have you in our prayers and hope for the best. Everyone knows that you're a strong person and that you'll make it through this hardship. I hope you are getting better were you are.
I want you to known that I have ben going through
some thing like that sences my Mother and Father has past a way. My daddy past a way 2 Months Before my mama did. and it has ben hard since then. And it has ben 3 years ago. I still have not got over that.
So I known a litte bit about how you feel a bout your Grandma. And I am sorry about her.
It is nice to have some freinds to help you through it. They don't take the place of you'r Grandma but they do help you through it. I hope you Get better soon. I'am so sorry that you are not felling good at all. I'am praying for you ever night.

Aj, you know.... you did a show here in Brazil, in São Paulo city, on May 5
do you know how many days I was in the line?? 27 days!!!!! did I sleep 26 there nights,
I passed cold, hunger, fatigue, interest, I almost died, but do you know what meke me to support all ????
the hope of one day to see you closely and show you how I'm grateful for everything
that you did for me, I didn't still have that chance, but when I can, I won't leave

I want to tell you that I think you have already won 1/2 the battle! I think that the 2 biggest parts of this, are admitting you have a problem and seeking help, and both of which you are doing! I respect you SOO much for actually doing that. I know that you will do this and be successful because you are a Backstreet Boy! I know that you will do this not only for yourself but for your family, group and your fans! I know that Backstreet Boys NEVER let their fans down. i just wanted to tell you to be strong and that god will guide you every step of the way. practicality every member of my family has a problem drinking, drugs, and they do other stuff to. its hard on me to have my family like that so it makes me really sad to see you go through it. i just want you to know if you ever need anyone to write to or anything im here. ill be cheering for you in san antonio. well i hope you get better. remember if you need anything you always have god to turn to. get better! hugs and kisses,

AJ,I am so very proud of you, sugar. You've become such a real part of my life without even knowing you, and you've touched me in so many ways, but I can't help but feel that we, the fans, are responsible on some level for this. I can't say I'm one of those crazy fans that follow ya'll around, but there are those kinds, and I apologise on their behalf. I recently watched 'Diary' and you could tell that you were terrified when ya'll were in Rio. It was so apparent that I could almost feel your fear. I'm so proud of you for admitting that you have a problem and you need help, and then seeking help. That takes bal*s. Get well soon, and don't give up. It's hard now, but in the end it's all worth it.

Dear AJ,
I deeply admire your courage in this entire situation for being able to admit that you had a problem. I've experienced the deaths of loved ones close hand with the untimely deaths of my father (1 year ago today) and grandmother. When my father died, I didn't know what to do or how my life could possibly go on without him. I was angry at everyone and everything that happened. My world felt as though it was crumbling and I was powerless to stop it from crashing down around me. As time went on I realized, through the help of God, family, friends, and your inspirational music, that time does go on; no matter how much we would like to make it stop. I will keep you in my prayers because with God's help in your fight you will overcome your deepest problems. Always remember that your fans are gonna be there supporting you in everything that you strive to acomplish for yourself and that the Guys need you. I know you will overcome this situation and be a stronger person afterwards. I am looking forward to seeing you back on tour with the Guys soon! i have recently heard that aj is seeking help for his problem. i'm very sad for aj because i know that he was real close to his grandma and when she died i knew he would take it hard. i'm glad that he is getting help and that the other backstreet boys, and all the fans are supporting him. i hope he gets well and he along with the other backstreet boys will stay in all the fan's prayers.
