Wow, I am overwhelmed. I just subbitted my entry and I come back a few minutes later to find it all the way at the bottom of the page. I guess the fans really know how to come out and show their love when it counts. Who said Backstreet Boys were losing fans????? We're here and we always will be. Boys you have the best fans in the world. And I'm not saying that to sound like an idiot. Hehe. I'm saying it because just by seeing all the love and support pouring out from this site, I can feel how united we all are. Our thoughts and prayers are with you AJ and Nick, Brian, Kevin, and Howie. Many of us who are lucky not to suffer from this illness don't always have the compassion with those around who do.I am so sorry that you find yourself with this illness and I wish you a very speedy recovery,but please AJ think of yourself at this time,be selfish and get yourself really together and then come back to us your fans.None of us have ever wanted any of you to suffer in this way.My thoughts, love and respect are with you as always.Angie.

i am speechless after reading all these messages from all your fans. if you ever read all of this, i'm sure you will be overwhelmed. it's crazy to think that so many people around the world feel so close and connected to you, but it is so easy for me to relate to because i am one of those people. i hope it helps you to know that we all hold you in great respect and have you in our prayers.

Dear AJ, Never did it occur to me that such a thin' would happen to you. I've always seen you as the rebel of the group but at the same time the lovable one. I see you as someone who's pretty much got everythin' in checked. Boy was I wrong. However, I do understand what you're goin' through coz' I, too am sufferin' from depression. But one of the things that has helped me get my spirits up when I'm down is the music made by you and the rest of the Backstreet Boys. Rest assured that my prayers and that of the other million fans out there will always be with you. I hope you get well soon and may we see the AJ that we've always known and loved back on stage and singin' for all of us. To the rest of the Backstreet Boys... I'm glad ya'll are there for him. I guess my purpose in writing this is to encourage/touch AJ by a fraction of how much he has touched me through the years. Figuring in the fact that there is only the slimmest chance of him ever seeing this of course. But I feel that it is my part as a fan to say what I feel. Well I keep trying to write something but I can't. I guess all I can say is how much I admire him for first of all recognizing his problem and then DOING something about it. AJ, Just know that you have people who care about you out here, and that is due to the fact that so many times you have stood on a stage and through your performance offered a little bit of yourself to us--you offer something so incredible that we are forever touched by it. We don't know you and you don't know us but we can still be touched by you through what you offer to us while you stand on a stage. In return we hope that we can give a little something back by showing you that yea, we are a little affected and a little touched by what you're going through right now. Leminh, a fan.

To our AJ, Im not a religious person, i dont even go to church, but last night I found myself praying. i was praying with everything i had within me, i never knew something could hit me so hard.the sorrow that i feel brought me to my knees, and with tears streaming down my face i said these words: My dearest lord, please watch over AJ, he needs you, and we (the fans) need him. protect him and guide him through these trials, for they will be much worse before they will get better. support him, and your love will see him through these times. I dont know if these words were right, but i do know that they came from a sacred place in my heart. the were spoken with nothing but true love.
