For most of us the Aj news came as a shock. The Backstreet Boys having a problem like this? This made me realize how much Backstreet has actually been through and how close they really are. I am proud of Aj for getting the help he needs to continue with the rest of the boys. I would just like to tell Aj that I have lived in an alcohol environment all my life. My brother just recently got out of alcohol treatment and my Dad refuses to go. Aj, you are making my life much easier just by knowing I can relate and there is hope. I can talk to my family just like you were able to talk to BSB. Thank you for being so brave and true to your fans and thank you for all you have done. Prayers all around!

I am really glad that AJ put himself inot rehab because he knew that he needed to get better for himself and his large amount of fans. I absolutley love BSB and if anything happened to them,i would put myself in rehab too!

I think it was great that the group and you decided to let us the fans know about the problems you are having. It must have taken a lot of courage to do something like that. I love your song I Wanna Be Happy. I know what you are dealing with. A couple of years ago my mom was in rehab for depression. It is hard to deal with but I want to tell you that everyone is praying for you and hopeing you will get better soon. For now good-luck and good-bye. Get better soon!!!!

Dear AJ, Your such an inspriation! I have looked up to you for about 4 years now and I'll continue to look up to you. :-}. Your so talented, I think your a great singer, songwriter, and dancer.I know you'll get through this, just like brian did with his heart problems, and you'll become stonger to the guys. I know you've been trying to find the right girl, but the right girl will come along just like brians and kevins wives. I love you so much AJ. Hey AJ! I just want to say that I'm glad to hear that you are getting help and I hope you will never have to go back to rehab. I saw what alcohol did to one of my family members and I don't want the same thing happen to you at such a young age which I doubt it won't happen. I consider you and all of the guys family to me cause I love all you and you love all of your fans. Just get better and just stop before it gets out of hand worse than it did before. AJ, You do know that me and everyone elses prayers are with you. You're strong and I know you'll beat this. I'm actually lost for words here. Well all I can say is that everyone I know is praying for you...even my best friend (who's an nsync fan) cried once she found out what happened. You're so strong and brave to admit your problem to the public and taking this step is definitley a gutsy thing to do. My prayers are with the entire group also. Dear AJ,
Although I am but one of a million 13 year-old girls across the world that is a HUGE fan of BSB, I am also very very concerned for you. I was inspired to write this when my friend was listening to the local radio station (the one that I used to consider my favorite, I’m not so sure now) and one of the DJ's said something like "we're gonna play spin the whiskey bottle to see who wins BSB tickets" and that crushed me. To think that someone could say something like that almost killed me. I am very concerned for your health because I have a friend right now that has suffered from depression and considered suicide and the thought of this happening to one of my favorite singers is just really sad. I am praying for you and I know my friends are too. We'll miss you and we hope that you can get over this and I hope to see all this come out happy, not sad. Thank you Nick, Kevin, Howie, and Brian for being honest and not lying to us fans. My friends and I are trying to show support for you in every way that we can. We love you guys.

I've been following the news about you and I just wanted to say I'm really sorry. I think you're brave for coming out and saying you have a problem and seeking help, that was very strong, and must've been hard. I just want you to know, that you have my complete support all the way. Since the guys went on TRL and made the announcement, I have been crying off and on for you, and you have been in my prayers.
I think it's great that you came forward and shared your problem with the world through Nick, Brian, Kevin, and Howie, because people now truly see that these are normal problems and they can get help. I hope that you start feeling better soon, and I can't wait to see you back on tour with the guys. I will keep you in my prayers! Love always,

Dear AJ, You better get well soon!!!! If you can't come back in 30 days, that is fine with us. Just take your time and please don't hurt yourself anymore. I have a grandfather who drink to make himself happy and it had upset all of us (my family). He have been somber for about two year. If he can do it,then you can do it!!! Come back to us,AJ.... AJ i'm not sure if you'll REALLY see this but i'd really love it if you read this. I live in the UK and it saddens me that BSB cant get over here much (but i know u cant help it) i just want to let you know that all of the UK is behind u and want u 2 get better soon. Alex I know that I can´t tell U anything to safe you completely, but I can try to make you fell better because in my life when I was with exatly this problem the only one who could safe me was you! I love you more than I can love myself! You´re my air, my sunlight at afternoon, my moon light at night, you´re my everything, you´re my life, and I can´t see my life with this way and stay here sitting on the sofa and don´t do anything! Guy think in you mother, that really love you, in your friends that I´m sure they are there with you, Thin in your fans that really really love´s you, try to think just in the good things of your life because now just it will make you fell better, think in the best times of your life... Here in Brazil when you were here, it was the bes days of my life, you´re the reason why I found my way!
