I was so happy to hear today that your doing better. You feel safe in rehap. I was so worried that you would feel scared and stuff. I just want you to know that along with the other fans,your fellow bsb members,family,ect.. i'm behind you 100% You are very loved. I know your going to get threw this. Your a strong person. I'm going to see yall Aug.29 in houston,Tx. I can't wait to see yall. Just remember it takes a real person to amit they need help and to get it. It's the bravest thing you did. I was heartbroken when my dad phoned me from work telling me what happened i was going insane I started to cry and I was really upset and then I talked to my best bud for a little while on the phone and she told me everything would be alright and u will get better and I feel so much better now but I stiil never stop thinking about u and this issue I love u guyz so much and I just want u to be safe, happy, and healthy. I will wait as long as I have to, to see u in concert in Toronto. I can't wait till T-O in september best wishes!!!! Hope u get better soon,

Dear AJ, I hope you can get this message somehow. I live in Brazil and I am a huge BSB fan. I love you guys very very much. I just wanted to tell you that I am here hoping you are allright and knowing that you will get over all this. As Nick said, this is not about the group, this is about you and your well-being. I really want you to be ok and happy, AJ, and I am praying with all my heart to this. Like all the fans, I am proud of you for your courage to look for help. This is a hard thing to be done, I know. I have loved the Backstreet Boys for about 6 years now. Nothing has ever gotten in the way of how much I love them. Not new groups, not people telling me I'm too old (I'm 19), nothing. A.J. going into rehab has just made my love for the Backstreet Boys stronger than ever. He's made a very courageous decision to get himself help and that in itself is major. We all need to keep A.J. in our prayers and stay behind him 100% until this is over. When he comes out of rehab we should all just be thankful that he is healthy and continue to support him. Take into consideration of how precious life is and how he just gave himself another chance at a great life. Thanks. KTBSPA!! BSB Luv 4eva!!

AJ:When I found out what you were going through, I was in tears. I realized
then that not everyone is perfect. And I know you are one of those people
who are not perfect, yet you have touched so many lives, including mine,
that you are well respected as an artist, role model, and person. I just want
you to know that you and Kevin, Brian, Nick, and Howie are in my thoughts

Dear AJ, Howie, Nick, Brian & Kevin,
On Monday afternoon I walked into our living room and found my daughter Krissy
watching you on TRL. We both watched as you made the announcement about AJ. Pretty soon we both had tears in our eyes. I think because we had just seen you in concert on July 5th in Hershey, PA, we just couldn't
believe what we were hearing. We kept saying, "But we just saw them and everything seemed fine." The music, the performances,
and the energy that night were phenomenal....just as in all of your other concerts we've attended.
And there underneath it all, hidden until now, is this pain for AJ and for all of you.
Please know that we are thinking of you and praying for AJ's complete recovery, and for all of you as you cope with
this and help him through these illnesses. Thankfully, he has taken the first important step and is getting the help he needs.
I'd like to offer a note of encouragement here; I've dealt with severe depression, and I can tell you that although it was one of
the toughest things I've ever had to go through in my life, I did recover and came out of it a stronger person. I just know that it will be the
same for AJ, too.
Your music has touched our lives in so many positive ways in the past three years. It would take a few more pages to describe them all.
Suffice it to say that Krissy and I kind of think of you all as a part of our family.
I've always had the impression that all of you are very caring and special young men, and the way you are handling this only
reinforces that feeling. You are truly "Larger Than Life", not only as entertainers, but as loving, caring human beings...and that is truly
what matters most in life.
Take your time and get well, AJ. God Bless all of you and know that we're rooting for you with all our hearts.

I really hope that AJ and/or the other guys read this so that AJ knows that he's not alone. My name is Alex, I am a 26 year old male. I wanted to tell AJ that I am with you bro. I have went through the same things and I made it and I know you can too!!! AND YOU WILL!!! You have a strong soul and you will over come. And you know what, I am traveling from Boise, Idaho to Portland, Oregon to see the show and you will be onstage again and feeling better!
