A.J what can I say? The BACKSTREET BOYS have come this far so It can't possibly end right now! I'm so glad that you made the right choice! We all love you and the guys so much and we are standing by your side all the way, and we always will be! I understand the pain your going through. Just picturing It has made me break down in tears all week. Though now I am looking at the bright side and know in my heart that If you have come this far with the BACKSTREET BOYS, then you can definately do this! Hey AJ,
just wanted to let U know U are not alone in this. I know the pain of losing a close relative.. this friday will be 1 yr since i lost my mom. My vise with dealing with this intense pain is suicide. Sometimes the pain is too much and i can't bear it. So, u see, we all have our own vises on how we deal with life. But I am proud of u for trying to get help. Me, i am still dealing with the suicide thing....
I will have a candle lit in my window for the next 30 days.....I can't wait to see u again in Sept (was at the Friday concert)

You never fail to amaze me. Every time I see you, you have a new hair cut or goatee style. When I heard the news about your depression I thought why? Every time you see AJ you're so happy. This can't happen to him. Well I was wrong I know it can happen to anyone. I'm glad you realized you needed help and are getting it. Everyone loves you AJ and wants you to get better. I would wait forever just to see you better and happy. That's what everyone wants for you is to be happy and that's what you want for yourself is to be happy. I can't tell you enough how proud I am that you agreed to get help for yourself! That is the best thing you could have done and I totally admire you for that! Even though I don't know you personally when I heard what happened my friend and I cried on the phone for a long time! Tears of joy that you were getting help and tears of sorrow because our concert was postponed two and a half months! Although your health is way more important then a concert, but the anticipation had begun to build because the concert we were going to was only a week away! I know everything will turn out alright because not only do you have the support, of your family, your friends, your fellow singers, but you have all of us (your fans) who will stand behind you now and when your 100! You mean a lot to your fans and I once again can't tell you how much I admire you for telling your fans the truth and standing up and admitting you needed help! It makes me and lots of other people realize we are lucky as fans to have the Backstreet Boys who can make our lives bright and happy everyday! It takes one song that you guys sing to make a bad day shine bright! Hopefully, everyone can learn from your experience and see that you are just a normal guy who happens to be loved by girls across the world! You are still my role model and always will be! P.S. I am sorry to hear about your grandmother also, but I would like you to know that when my grandpa died recently listening to your music helped me through his death! Your grandmother will always be watching over you and you have an angel following you where ever you are! You're lucky and I am sure everyone in heaven will take great care of your grandma and I am know she will always be proud of you! Who wouldn't be!!??!!??

Hi AJ. I think that what your doing is very courageous. Your taking a bold step and confronting your alcoholism. I think that telling that fans was a great decision. Most artists who go through things like this don't take the time to let the fans know what they're going through. I hope you know that not only do you have support from your family and freinds, but also from fans and fellow artists. Everyone is pulling for you to get through this cause we know you can.
