Aj, whatup bro? Just wanted to throw a live shout out to ya & offer some thoughts. Check out all the messages people wrote. It's great to hear what the fans think, cause to have alot of people that are complete strangers offer their emotions, shows a great deal of care and support. You're unique style and personna have made you an inspiration to many, and that same vibe will get you through this situation. You're achievements will be spoken about 1000 years from now, and although I know fame & money don't always equate to happiness, it takes strength to gain both, and that same strength will get you through this..Peace & support!! To all of you guys:
Thanks for the courage to deal with a problem correctly, to show support for each other, and for AJ particularly! I'm amazed by the radio stations, DJs, and even the other bands supporting AJ and your decision to assistAJ in getting his needed help!
Many better days are ahead, much creativity can come out of this "downtime", and if anyone can do it you guys can truly make this an EXTREMELY POSITIVE step for the group and for the Musical World! Hopefully, the other bands will continue to be as supportive, and not backstabbing or backbiting, or trying to take an advantage of this situation.
AJ hang in there,(the rest of you too, know that your fans will not forget you, but support you consistently and constantly) realize there are more people who appreciate what you do, what your group does together, and what can still be done for many years to come. Make the Musical World know how really courageous it is for you(and others involved in any abuse and/or depression) to get well. As a minister, sho also happens to be Gay, and who works in similar areas, dealing with depression, addictions, and HIV/AIDS for more than 18 years, remember your Gay fans love you too, and are equally supportive and praying for you guys to come back at the end of this recovery period fully creative, fully charged up and ready to show the world that the Music and the people, including each of you guys, are the most important things to be accomplished by getting AJ well!
It takes a real man to admit that he NEEDS HELP! YOUR ABOUT TEN FEET TALL IN MY ESTIMATION!!!!!!! Thanks and remember many people pray for your recovery, and wish you well! Blessings on each of you, as you try to continue getting ready to resume the tour, knowing full well that you guys also need our support! REMEMBER YOUR FANS SUPPORT YOU AND PRAY FOR YOU!!!!!!! AJ i think you are so awesome for doing this now. it takes a BIG person to deal with something this hard. God is with you and will never give you more than you can handle. We love you. When I first heard about AJ going into rehab, tears were in my eyes. I would do anything to have AJ, and the other guys, not have to feel any pain or sadness. That is how much I love these guys. All five of them are like my brothers, even if I have never met them, I have read bundles of fans having encounters and now I know how much each of the guys cares about their fans. Now, it is time that I should return the favor for them and pay them back for all of the hardwork they have done. I know that being a fan is good enough, but not to me it is not. Before I get off topic, AJ, I am very proud of you for admiting to needing help and not hiding it until lord knows when. Aside from that, I know that you will fully recover. To me, you are a very strong person since you made that decision to go into rehab. I may not have lost a loved one, but you gotta remember - Your grandmother is watching you from above. She may not be here on Earth, but she is in a better place, and she is now one of your guardian angels. As soon as you recover, I am going to do something very caring of you. People may think I am a crazy nut, but I just do not care. You and the other Boys are like brothers that I wish I could have. You guys have touched my life so much, that you turned me into a brand new person - for the good. I would not like to go into details about my past, but for now, I will keep you in my thoughts. God bless and have a good healthy life, AJ. To the other BSB - I am very proud of each of you for being honest about this whole thing. I could sense a lot of emotion in that interview, especially Nick. I wish you all good luck, and I know you can hold on until then.

DEAR AJ:
You, and the rest of tha guys, are so special to me, thatīs why I was so scaried and worried about you because when I heard the news that afternoon, I said: "Thatīs impossible, he is a really nice guy", but when I watched ET and I see the other boys talked to a lot of people in TRL, I feel proud about you, because you have recognized that you have a problem, but I know what you are going through with the depression, because I was in a terrible depression before be a BSB fan, and I have to addmit, Backstreet Boys help me to feel better, and really I want to say thanks for that. AJ, a lot of people are with you, your BSB brothers, your family and your fans love you; I think you are a Lucky person but I know that itīs a difficult moment in your life.
My prayers and my support are with you, and remember weīll always be there for you, doesnīt matter what happen!!! God bless you...

Even though I know Alex will most likly never see this I just wanted to say like everyone else here how proud I am of you. That takes a real man to admit a problem like this. I didn't see the other guys on tv talking about this I just found out, and when I read what was going on I couldn't help but cry. I got right down on my knees and prayed
to Christ to pick you up and carry you through this. I have also been diagnosed with clinical depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and bulimia so I to have been there. The thing that can get you through it is God, talking, crying, and exercise. Keep things around you that you love, such as happy pictures, flowers, and your little puppy J.D. will help. What ever you do don,t think about the fans we are fine and understand. Don,t think about the other guys, friends or family. You don't need to please them right now. The only thing that matters is you. You getting better will make everyone happy and that is all we want for you, not for us. You can't beat this in 30 days you need more time don't push it PLEASE. The tour does not matter to us near as much as you. We Want to see all you guys on stage happy and healthy. People have had those tickets in their hands for months and they can wait longer if they are impatient and start to complain just say screw them. To end this long letter I want to say just get better that all we want for you. You are in my prayers and many other peoples and with so many fans that you all have, and all praying for you, God can't ignore them so I promise just keep your faith in the Lord and all of our prayers will be answerd for you. Love ya sweetie get well soon.

Dear A.J.,I would like to say I as a fan support you 100% and wish you the best of luck.I don't know what its like to deal with alcohol personally but members of my famliy do and i know it affects everyone. I do know what its like to be depressed after the death of my grandmother whom we took care of for three years died i became depressed and if not for my mother and help from my best friends I prouably wouldn't be here today and also my best friends recently died from AML a rare form of luekemia I began to feel the way i had before slipping away but i kept in mind the encouragement she gave me before and i wasn't going to let it get me. So my advise to you is think first of yourself then your grandmother whom i read you were close to her, then your family and last but not least your fans they will always be here for you. But now be there for yourself over come this obstacle its the first of many that most people encounter. Best wishes

AJ,
I am so proud of you, as are all your fans around the world. I think that I speak for all us BSB fans when I say we don't want you to worry one minute about the tour or about us abandonning you and the group when the going gets rough. We love you and we will stick by you and support you to help you get through this scary time in your life, just the way you and the rest of the guys helped all of us get through scary, tough, and trying times in our lives. You are truly an inspiration, and I know that your truth and strength will get you through this, and you'll be back to the old AJ we all know is still there inside you! I love you AJ and I admire your courage to fight this in the public eye and even more I appriciate your honesty towards us. Get better soon hun! And don't listen to anyone that has anything negative to say towards you. The people that love you for who you are will always be there standing behind you and thats all that matters!
