Dear AJ,
you have taken the first step to recovery by admitting your problems and seeking for help to get through this difficult time.
I have suffered from depression and I needed a lot of help from the people around me to get better. Now life is better again and I can enjoy it. There's nothing more than the same that I wish for you AJ. When I saw the news about your condition the other day ( first on this site ), I became quite worried, but when I saw Kevin, Howie, Nick, and Brian on tv talking about this situation and I saw that Nick started crying when he talked about you AJ, that's when it really hit me and I realized that this is very serious.
I know anyhow, that you can make it through this, and God willing this will make you, Nick, Kevin, Howie and Brian even stronger.
I have a place in my heart for you, AJ, and you will be in my prayers.

Hiya AJ!
I hope you're doing ok and I want you to know that all the fans are keeping you in their thoughts and prayers. I want to thank the other guys for being honest with us fans as most of us would have passed this off as a rumor if it hadn't come from your mouth. I think the song you wrote AJ is beautiful and gives an amazing incite into what you're feeling. After hearing it, like many others I'm sure, tears steamed down my face. I for one, am really proud of you AJ for admitting you have a problem and wanted to get help. I'm sure you know that you have all the support and love from friends, family and fans and we will support you through this hard time. My love goes out to you and your family. I don't know what it's like to lose a much loved family member but it must be a traumatic time and my heart goes out to you. All the best wishes, take care, get better and don't worry, you've already won the battle AJ.

A. J. - I really feel for the situation that you are going through - to ask for help is a big step to take, and an even bigger one when the consequences of that are so public and so huge. You are so lucky to have the love and support of your friends (bsb) and family. The pressure on you is unbelievable - people watching your every move from now onwards to see if you fall - well just know this - there isnt anyone who doesnt wish you the best, there isnt anyone on this earth who hasnt made a mistake and the example you are setting by not running away from your problems - but looking them straight in the eye and saying - I will beat this thing - is an inspiration to us all to be brave and allow our selves to be a little bit human. I wish you the best, and will hopefully see you strutting your stuff again soon!!

AJ,When I heard about what was going on I began to cry. I've been batteling depression for almost a year after my best friend and grandfather died, both of which I was very close to. Anyways what I wanted to tell you is, even though I don't know exactly what you're going through right now & probably never will, you make ME happy on those depressing days. You'll never know how much joy you bring into your fans' lives just by singing that one little song or doing that one little dance and everything that you do is special to all of us. Please get better because we all know that there is alot more time for you to make us happy and just get better because we all care about you and even though we don't know you personally, we love you.
