dear aj,
i was truly saddend to hear that things had got so bad for you that you couldnt cope, it was a real shock for me as the last time i saw you on tv, you seemed very happy to be touring with backstreet boys, but i guess you didnt want fans to worry. Im so pleased that you know you cant always handle things on your own and that you have identified you need help in overcoming this obstacle in your life. I know i cant really understand what things must be like for you but dont be scared cos many people go through what you have but take things too far. Im so proud that you have admitted to your self you cant always get through things on your own, that is an achievment in itself. I lost my grandfather last year, and i just wanna say i know the pain, it still hurts like hell, but it will get better. I want u to know how much support your fans and everyone has shown over these past days, radio stations over here (uk) send their love, wish you the best and a speedy recovery. Everyone is behind you aj, i know you can do this. All of the fans have been very understanding about the tour dates they just want you to get better, so dont worry about that. We all love you so much and support you 100%, all the way. You guys have been through alot of stuff over the years, and we always stuck by you, the fans will always be here through thick and thin, no matter what we stick together. In so many ways you have been their for your fans like all of the guys, you dont know how greatful we are just to hear your music which can be so comforting, you have helped fans to have a better life, you have inspired me to go for my dreams, you touched our lives with your soul and flare as well as your music. it is our turn to help you to find yourself by offering all our support and love. I know how cut up the rest of the guys are but im sure you know how much they love you and are proud of you and want you to get better.

Hey AJ,
I know u'll probably read these but i know exactly what your going through my grandma died not long ago to.. The best thing i did was just to get on with my life... Anyway i wrote a letter to all of you's and i hope u get it soon, it should be on it's way... I hope u reply... I also want to say AJ it will get better trust me.. And Nick i heard about your hand and i hope that it is getting better to... I luv u guys very much and im glad u told us about the alcohol problem...
Anywayz i hope u get back on your tours and come to australia cause i realllyyyyyy want to see you guys... But anywayz lets just concentrate on all of your's in gettin better hey...

To AJ:I'm glad you admitted to your problem.I love you.And you and BSB have come this far.You have sold 3 albums now in the USA.And I want BSB to make a fourth album too and plus the other BSB fans.And you have my love and support 100% too.You are in my prayers at night and the other 4 too.I can't think of another bad boy as good as you and you know it.Backstreet Boys are the best group in the world.And AJ you are my favorite Backstreet Boy ever from the start and to the finish.I love how you change each year and I love how you change your hair style too.I love you AJ! Hold you head up high! there are so many people that do not except they have a problem and deal with it. This is the first of many steps for you, you are a very gorgeous, loving tender person who has alot of strength!! it may not seem like it now! but, you have all your brothers(Kevin,Howie,Brian,& Nick) plus ALL YOUR FANS! and especially your Mother to help you! We were at your concert in Tampa, my daughter had someone come up & put a pass on her arm she was so excited inside that she was going to get a chance to meet you all! but, maybe next time! she is a friend of Edgar(orlando) & trys to keep in contact with him. Dear AJ, In this time of your need, we, the BSB fans, wish to send our love and support for you. I may never understand the circumstances that led to this but I just wanna let you know that we are standing strong behind you. But with all of the support and love that we could possibly give, I am all too aware that it would still depend on you. That's why I was really glad that you, yourself, took the initiative to seek help. AJ, you and the rest of the Backstreet Boys have influenced my life greatly. How are you? I was really heart-broken when I heard what happened. I know I'm writing really late, but I live in India and we don't get news very quickly over here. I just found out yesterday. I was really upset. But I know that you are going to be fine. Its just a phase and it will pass. I hope you know that all of us are with you. Because the Backstreet Boys fans are the best! If we can stand by you in your joys and successes, then we can definitely support you at times like these. I have never had a chance to see you guys in concert, but i know that you guys are amazing. People who had tickets were probably a bit disappointed when the tour was postponed, but they didn't know about you. But I am certain that at this point of time, that is their least concern. All we want is for you to get better. Your health and well-being is all that matters to us. And I know that when you do get better, you guys are going to storm back. We have faith in you.
