Firstly I am very sorry to hear about your condition. If you do read this, I want you to know that you are an incrediable person. I know this because when I met you, you were so nice and genuine. I hope you get well and return soon because many ppl are missing you. Thank you for making such beautiful music and for being yourself. This is the second time that I have put in an entry. I am so happy and sad for you. You see, my mother went to rehab for drugs and depression. It is not the same thing but it is pretty close. So now I know other people have problems too. I remember all the support my friends gave me as well as my family. It was encouraging to know that everyone cared so much. And now, in your time of sadness and recovery you need that support and encouragment too. You deserve the best of everything, as well as the other guys. You are such a great person. You have great talent and such a big heart. ( of course i am crying now ) Through that time that my mother was trying to get help and all the times that I felt I couldn't go on, The Backstreet Boys were their. With your music. Through your music you help so many of us. It helps SO much. You are such an inspiration to all of us. I give my deepest respect to you. You are a very special person and you deserve to know that. Dear Bone,
I can't think of the right words to say to you at the moment, because I can't even begin to understand how you must be feeling right now. I want to let you know that I think you have been amazingly brave over the last few weeks, as you have been able to admit to yourself, aswell as those who love you, that you have a problem, and you are helping yourself deal with it in the best possible way - by letting others help you through it. Everyone, myself included, are thinking of you through these next 30 days, and we cannot wait to see you fit and well again - you will be back on that stage in no time!
I want to make sure that you don't give up, and that you stay true to yourself - and don't let others take away what you have acheived in yourself over the next few weeks.

Hey AJ! Who knows if you're ever gonna read this but what the hell, I'm writing it to ya! :) . I just wanted to say how proud I am (along with all of your fans and everyone who is supporting you through this!) that you have made the decision of going to get help. It takes a strong person to admit to their problems and go to rehab like you're doing, and you don't know how much we all look up to you and respect you for doing so. My friend and I were shocked with the news we recieved Monday night when we got home from the mall, that all we could do was stay up all night and watch my hundreds of tapes with numerous appearances you guys have made on TV and pray for ya. AJ, I know you're going to make it through this! You're a tough guy and if you can get through this, you can do anything! You have so many people that care about you and that are behind you supporting you all the way...we love you! I hope that you get better through these 30 days...and hey, if you're not ready to go back on tour, take some more time to get better, we all just want to see you happy, healthy and back to your old self again! The Backstreet Boys are just not the same without our crazy, loving, SEXY, funny, talented AJ Mclean! And who could forget Mr. Johnny No Name!? We miss him too! hehe :). Well I'm gonna wrap this up now, but I can't wait to see you and the guys here in Detroit, September 20! I love ya tons, and don't forget, we're all behind you on this one! Bye Babe!

AJ,My sister has got to be one of your biggest - and quietest - fans. I haven't gotten a chance to talk to her about this, but I can only imagine how it must be affecting her because our dad is a recovered alcoholic. I love your group, love the music, love the fact that all of you are very human. Just know that my love and prayers are with you for a safe recovery - don't rush it, though, your fans will wait if it means you'll be safe. Take care. Be strong. We're all behind you.

You have SO much talent it can't even be described. Not only do you have talent, but you have courage, strength, and hope to get through anything. I didn't think my love and respect for you could get any deeper, but it has. I respect you so much for coming forward and getting help. Just by doing that means you have already won. I also want to say thank you for telling the fans about this. It means a lot that you and the rest of the group trust and believe in us enough to tell us the truth. A.J.I know this was probably one of the hardest things you ever had to do...admit that you had a problem. No one likes to admit that we can not control something, especially things we do and say. I just want you to know that I am so proud of you for having the strength and courage to seek help before it becomes so overwhelming that you can't do anything to change it. I am probably..no, I know that I am old enough to be your mother.. but I just want to you know that I am so glad that you and the other band members are there for my children to listen to. I love your music and what it says and means to me. I lost my father 15 years ago and my mother the day before Millennium came out. The stories that you tell in your songs helped me more than I could ever tell you. When I first saw you sing "Lay Down Beside Me" on the Night Out video I said to myself that .."that man is doing exactly what he was ment to do in life...to sing the soul out of a song.." Get well soon so that you can keep singing the "soul" out of every song. No matter how long it takes..you need to take care of yourself first, for those of us who are really fans will be there for you no matter how long it takes. Dear AJ,As the mother of a huge BSB fan, I wanted to let you know that we are all thinking of you and hope you have a speedy recovery. Even though you may not know it, you have a huge support group called your fans. I know that there are many who would take on your pain if they could, but we both know that won't help you get better. You are an awesome person with so much talent still to share with people. We the fans are grateful for your honesty and encouraged that you realized and said those 3 scary words. I can't speak for everyone, but my daughter and I will always stand behind you and the guys through any struggles you may have. Your words through your songs help so many people each day, its only fair that we help you through this time. The hardest time may just be beginning, so here is something that I found that may help you get through, it's called "Don't Quit" Don't quit when the tide is lowest,
