Dear A.J,
First off, I'd like to say what a kick ass show you, Nick, Brian, Howie, and Kevin put on for the July 7th show in Boston. That night was my VERY FIRST Backstreet Boys Concert! I have been a fan since 1999 and I'm glad to say that I have finally experienced the rush and excitement from a BSB concert! You were incredible on Saturday, as well as your bros and the BSB Band. Gotta give my props to Krystal too.
It must have been one of the hardest things for you to stop what you love and take time off from the tour. Don't worry A.J, you have so much support from your fans, friends, family, and of course your Backstreet Buds. It took me a week's worth of work to pay off my ticket, but every penny was worth it to see you, Nick, Howie, Kev, and Brian. I'm looking foward to seeing you again in September, as well as the Boys. If ya still need more time, waiting is no problem. Your health is the most important. My prayers are with you everyday and I wish you the best for a speedy recovery. See ya soon.

Sincerely yours,
Joanna

Hey AJ

I hope u feel better soon cause we all love u especially your family and your brothers, the BSB. I just want to say that i understand where you comming from especially the pain you are passing through cause a person that you are so close had passed away and I share this passed with you especially your battle with alcohol and depression.
The reason that I understand and share this pain with you because my mother was an alcohol and she and I used to suffer depression because of certain reasons and problems from the passed. My mother started drinking when her son, which was my brother was killed in 1985 (when I was 5) through violence and then her brother, my uncle on the month of January of 2000 and also the problems that we had at home with the mentally and physically abusement from my dad. As the year passes by the death in our family increases my mother got worse of drinking and getting depression inlcuding myself. When my uncle died of the year 2000 I felled into a deep depression cause it was my second time meeting him and i was planning to invite him for my high school graduation, but never happen and as ime passes by i know that he is in a happy place with my brother and your grandmother too, AJ. I also recently lost a friend of mine too, this passed of June, he was drowned in the beach in rochester, ny where i from, my mother didnt wanted to tell me unitl last week, she told me i was devasted, but now im ok cause of the help of my mom and the love of my family including his.
The way my mother and i conquer this battles are by the love we have by our family, friends, GOD, and eachother.
I believe that u can do it AJ cause of the love of ur family, fans, friends, and others including myself and also do it for yourself.
Take care mi amor and god bless u and ur families.
AJ if anything email me and i email u back.

Dear A.J.,

I don't exactly know where to begin this letter, but to tell you I am extremely proud of you. I admire your courageous attitude to actaully admit to yourself and everyone else that you have a problem. It was very brave of you and in my opinion you are probably one of the strongest people I have ever heard of. I have an uncle who is in rehab right now for the 600th time is seems like for abusing drugs. He just doesn't seem to want to get better and it does hurt a lot, especially to my grandparents. They keep trying to help him, but it always seems his condition gets worse. My grandmother is always crying about it and it's so sad to watch. That is one specific reason why I really hope you come out of your situation recovered and healthy. I have been a fan of the Backstreet Boys for like 6 or 7 years now and you have always been one of my favorites. I can't stand to imagine the Backstreet Boys without you. I love your personality and the way you can always make me laugh. I keep praying for your recovery just like I know all the other fans are doing. I am keeping myself up-to-date on your condition by watching MTV and TRL all the time. I was extremely happy yesterday on July 11th to hear your mom say on MTV that you have a positive attitude and relieve in your voice. It really comforted me because I was so worried about how you were feeling and I can't stand to hear you're unhappy. I once again wish you all the best and hopefully look forward to seeing you in concert on August 25th in Cincinnati, but I know it is your health that comes first. I love you very much and you are in my prayers!!

Love Always,
Amanda

AJ:

Hey! It's my second time writing something. I just wanted you to know how proud we all are of you, and we don't want you to feel ashamed at all. You are getting the help you need and are going to return to the Boys, and will be back with all of us. We think of you all the time, and pray every night for a safe recovery. I am very sorry about your grandmother, she must have meant the world to you. Time and help will heal the loss you feel. Just think of all the millions of people around the world that love you, and can't wait to see you back out on the road. We all love you so much and are very proud of you.

Hey AJ,

My 6 year old is a big fan and I have become one too in the last couple of years.

We are glad to know that you are getting help. I too am going through a bit of depression with my divorce. I stay strong for my daughter.

We went to your last concert here in Dallas and were very impressed. We hope to attend this August's concert but I have yet to get tickets for it.

The songs have meant alot to me because the hard times of my divorce.

I know you'll get better and get that well deserved rest also.

You are so lucky to have 4 friends like Nick, Brian, Howie and Kevin. They are very precious. To stop their world for their friend-it's hard to find people like them and yourself to put their friend above everything.

I think my daughter picked the prefect role models to look up to. She also looks up to me and my ex, but you are a good inspiration for her to do the right thing. And I thank you!

Lots of love, hugs and kisses!

Alex or A.J.,

I am so glad to hear that you are relieved that you have taken this step. That is
probably a good sign of you getting better. I can only imagine how difficult this must
be to you. But I hope you understand how much support you have.

Oh and Nick if you and the other Backstreet Boys are reading these as well. I hope
you are feeling better as well. I when I was about seven years old had a broken arm
and at seventeen had a broken leg. So I understand how much that must hurt.
I wonder how it happened, but it can't be as embarassing as falling down while roller
skating in gym class. Don't ask.

Anyway I hope that you all are doing great and want you to know that you are all in my
prayers not just A.J.

For A J The Backstreet Boys have been a part of our home for about 4 years and you're like one of the family. Not one day goes by without hearing your music filter from room to room. Your music is universal and touches more people than you or I can imagine. It turns bad days into good ones and frowns into smiles. I hope you can feel the outpour of love and prayers for you. That is our way of saying "Thank you". Your are much too strong and talented to not come out on top. And when you do, we'll be here for you. So on Sept.22 my daughters and I will be at our rescheduled concert at The Tweeter Center in Chicago. We'll be in section 103 row J loving each and every song you magically perform. God Bless you A.J., Howie, Brian, Nick and Kevin. May only the best come your way. I'm proud to be a BSB fan. An Illinois Mom

Hey A.J.,
I am so proud of you for taking a big step and not living a lie. I know that is was really hard to go to Rehab. But all the BSB fans are proud of you for that. And take your time, we don't care how long you are there and how much longer the rest of the tour is delayed, just as long as you get better.A.J.,after this is over you will be a stronger person. And it takes alot to have the strength not to lie to the fans about whats happening. You and the guys have done so much for the fans,so now we can do something for you. We are behind you on any decisions that you make. You are in my prayers. God Bless!!
I love ya A.J.!!
love always,
~Katie~
